This study examines elementary schools' readiness and needs for the digital transformation of academic services to optimize school governance. A descriptive quantitative approach using a survey was employed, involving 132 elementary schools in Bandung Regency. Data were collected via an online questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that schools use digital devices more than digital applications and platforms for academic service management. School human resources' digital literacy is rated good to very good; however, digital communication and information sharing still require improvement. Digital technology has its strongest impact on expanding access to academic services, while digital document management remains relatively low. The main challenges relate to policies, standard operating procedures, managerial roles, data integration, data security, and the need for support and training. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen systems, human resource capacity, and procedural governance.
