Abstract

Today, many Information System Success studies are performed however only a few studies which focused on the impact of a personal user to succeed of applying IS. The aim of this study is to investigate and to measure the effect of End User Computing Satisfaction into Individual of Impact Performance, with regard the successful implementation of Information system at higher education. Random sampling technique is conducted offline on 100 IS college users and Structural Equation Model technique is used to analyze survey data based on Information System  Success model. Our result show that IOIP is influenced by  EUCS.

Abstract

The explosion of digital data in the last two decades followed by the development of various types of data, including text, images, audio and video known as multimedia data. Multimedia Information Retrieval is required to search various type of media. There is comprehensive information need that can not be handled by the monolithic search engine like Google, Google Image, Youtube, or FindSounds. The shortcoming of search engine today related to their format or media is the dominance of text format, while the expected information could be an image, audio or video. Hence it is necessary to present multimedia format at the same time. This paper tries to design Unified Concept-based Multimedia Information Retrieval (UCpBMIR) technique to tackle those difficulties by using unified multimedia indexing. The indexing technique transforms the various of media with their features into text representation with the concept-based algorithm and put it into the concept detector. Learning model configures the concept detector to classify the multimedia object. The result of the concept detector process is placed in unified multimedia index database and waiting for the concept-based query to be matched into the Semantic Similarities with ontology. The ontology will provide the relationship between object representation of multimedia data. Due to indexing text, image, audio, and video respectively that naturally, they are heterogeneous, but conceptually they may have the relationship among them. From the preliminary result that multimedia document retrieved can be obtained through single query any format in order to retrieve all kind of multimedia format. Abstract

A cost expenditure of software defined radio software has limiting the development of cognitive radio in third countries. Moreover, a complexity of signal processing library in a SDR platform has contributed to the hard implementation in real applications. In this works, the development of SDR platform with low cost expenditure is proposed. Arduino UNO and X Bee uses for the OFDM based spectrum exchange information. In a case of spectrum sensing scenario, the objective of the local spectrum sensing is to detect the PU’s signal detection. The performance of SN ability to sense the PU’s signal is crucial. It was shown that from the previous works as the detected power is quantized into information bit is simulated.  In  order  to  implemented  the  spectrum exchange  information during  sensing,  Arduino  UNO  and  X  Bee  is implemented to sense the presence of PU activity channels of wifi terminals based on the energy of the signals. The detected power (RSSI) of wifi terminals is exchanged into an OFDM subcarrier tone signal such as orthogonal sub-channel that being equally divided from the licensed band.   The results shows that using proposed software defined radio (SDR) based on Arduino and X Bee, the cognitive radio spectrum sensing is applied. The received power from the PU’s channels such as wifi networks can be detected as well. The system could received and exchanged into OFDM-based subcarrier information bits.

Abstract

Nowadays, security is a part that consent by many institution including academic for example in University campus, some  of  campus  have  been  implement  automatic  system  in campus area to control visitor to enter University also for   the staffs and students, but the system is in standalone with introduce new gate pass. Most of University has been use Information Technology (IT) in application for academic system such as student information, registration, results information, etc. In this paper discuss on integration of student information to gate pass system then do not require new card or pass for every student to enter campus area. Gate pass system is required information to match to database that who allow entering to campus, normally a new database is create for the system. In this case, University has student and staff database including lecturer, thus to be efficient the data in existing database can be use and integration using protocol that gate pass system give a command to database as request then verification of those data. Currently, student database stored in server room and the place far away from gate pass system, in order to make it transaction faster for visitor to enter then a mini database is setup onsite of gate system, but periodic updating is require or every new update in database. Results shows, database stored in student information system is more than 30,000 number of student and transaction time is less than 1 second and in average cycle time is 5.5 seconds for motorcycle lane and 7 seconds for car, that mean time for visitor to access gate pass system for entry campus is most reasonable.

Abstract

The use of Information Technology (IT) in education is a must now and it should bring benefits to education especially in the university level. Good information technology governance is required in the field of education from planning to implementation. This study aims to evaluate how effective and efficient the implementation of information technology governance at the Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta as measured by COBIT 5 Framework.The method used is conducting a survey by distributing questionnaires to UAJY’s information system office employees and observing documents that are adjusted to the control objectives in the COBIT 5 Framework. This study uses four control objectives, namely APO (Align, Plan, and Organize), BAI (Build, Acquire, and Implement), and DSS (Monitor, Evaluate, Asses). The first stages of the study was data collection, second was analyzing maturity and gap level, third was analysing and problem finding in the implementation of IT governance and proposing recommendations, and fourth was conclusions and suggestions. The result of this research is that Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta has applied the IT governance at level 3 (Established). It means that at this level the process has been built then implemented in accordance to the defined or predetermined process, and able to achieve the result of theprocess.

Abstract

This research aims to build a data security system medical records of brain tumor on Health Information System (HIS) by implementing the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol on the communication channel between the client and server to prevent the infiltration of data traffic on the internet. SSL certificates are designed using Open SSL tool with RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) algorithm and 256 bit AES (Advance Encryption Standard) encryption, then implanted through the Python programming language on Raspberry Pi mini computer acting as a server on the system. The test result showed that the SSL protocol to encrypt and secure data communication channels from sniffing and attacking techniques during the data exchange process in the internet network.Keywords :  Secure Socket Layer, Data Security, Raspberry Pi.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem keamanan data rekam medis tumor otak pada Health Information System (HIS) dengan mengimplementasikan protokol Secure Socket Layer (SSL) pada saluran komunikasi antara client dan server untuk mencegah terjadinya penyusupan pada lalu lintas data di internet. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa protokol SSL dapat mengenkripsi saluran komunikasi dan mengamankan data dari teknik sniffing dan attacking selama terjadinya proses pertukaran data di jaringan internet.Kata Kunci : Secure Socket Layer, Keamanan Data, Raspberry Pi.

Abstract

AbstrakKredit merupakan salah satu perilaku ekonomi modern. Dalam prakteknya kredit dapat berupa peminjaman sejumlah uang atau pembelian barang dengan proses pembayaran secara bertahap dan dalam jangka waktu yang telah disepakati. Kondisi perekonomian yang kurang mendukung serta kebutuhan masyarakat yang tinggi membuat masyarakat memilih membeli barang dengan proses kredit ini. Sayangnya kebutuhan yang tinggi ada yang tidak diimbangi dengan kemampuan melakukan pembayaran sesuai dengan perjanjian awal. Kondisi ini yang memungkinkan proses pembayaran menjadi tidak lancar atau disebut juga dengan istilah kredit macet. Penelitian ini menggunakan data publik yaitu dataset kartu kredit dari UCI repository serta data private yaitu dataset persetujuan kredit dari perbankan lokal. Algoritma information gain digunakan untuk menghitung bobot dari masing masing atribut yang ada. Dari hasil perhitungan diketahui bahwa semua atribut memiliki bobot yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa tidak semua atribut data mempengaruhi hasil klasifikasi. Misalkan atribut A1 pada dataset UCI serta atribut type pinjaman pada dataset lokal yang memiliki bobot information gain 0 (nol). Hasil klasifikasi menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbour menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 7,53% untuk dataset UCI dan 3,26% untuk dataset lokal setelah dilakukan seleksi fitur pada kedua dataset. Kata kunci: Akurasi KNN, seleksi fitur, Persetujuan Kredit.

Abstract

The information framework aims to holistically address the problems and issues posed by unwanted peat and land fires within the context of the natural environment and socio-economic systems. Informed decisions on planning and allocation of resources can only be made by understanding the landscape. Therefore, information on fire history and air quality impacts must be collected for future analysis. This paper proposes strategic framework based on technology approach with data fusion strategy to produce the data analysis about peat land fires and air quality management in in South Sumatera. The research framework should use the knowledge, experience and data from the previous fire seasons to review, improve and refine the strategies and monitor their effectiveness for the next fire season. Communicating effectively with communities and the public and private sectors in remote and rural landscapes is important, by using smartphones and mobile applications. Tools such as one-stop information based on web applications, to obtain information such as early warning to send and receive fire alerts, could be developed and promoted so that all stakeholders can share important information with each other.

Abstract

Menurut dengan Buku pedoman penilaian angka kredit kenaikan pangkat/jabatan akademik dosen tahun 2014, bahwa tugas utama dosen dalam melaksanakan Tridharma perguruan tinggi merupakan satu kesatuan dharma atau kegiatan yang saling terkait dan mendukung satu sama lain. Khusus dalam unsur pelaksanaan pendidikan, Dosen melakukan beberapa kegiatan diantaranya yaitu melaksanakan perkuliahan dan membimbing tugas akhir. Untuk mengetahui informasi pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, dosen mengalami kendala ketika data kemajuan tidak dimiliki oleh dosen yang bersangkutan melainkan oleh bagian akademik dan mahasiswa. Untuk itu supaya dapat mengelola kemajuan setiap kegiatan diperlukan alat bantu berupa sistem yang dapat dikelola secara pribadi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membangun Sistem Informasi berbasis Mobile untuk mendukung pengelolaan kegiatan pelaksanaan pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem yang meliputi tahapan Requirements Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, Operation and maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis mobile yang dapat diakses secara pribadi menggunakan smartphone dan laptop melalui browser sebagai aplikasi client.

Abstract

Abstrak Digital library Universitas Gadjah Mada merupakan layanan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa untuk mempermudah dalam mengakses informasi/referensi. Terdapat beberapa faktor terkait yang mempengaruhi suksesnya penerapan digital library. Keberadaan faktor-faktor tersebut menjadi penting untuk diketahui sejauh mana kesuksesan penerapan digital library. Dengan demikian diharapkan fasilitas digital library digunakan secara optimum oleh mahasiswa.Penelitian ini akan melakukan penelitian efek moderasi tingkat pendidikan terhadap penggunaan digital library. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan model DeLone dan McLean yang di modifikasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh mahasiswa UGM yang pernah menggunakan digital library. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hubungan antara kualitas informasi dan kepuasan pengguna di moderasi oleh tingkat pendidikan, Hubungan antara kualitas sistem, kualitas layanan dengan kepuasan pengguna tidak di moderasi oleh tingkat pendidikan. Penggunaan berulang digital library di pengaruhi oleh 3 faktor yaitu kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan kualitas layanan.  Kata kunci: Digital library,DeLone dan McLean,SEM
