Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan representasi gender dalam buku ajar Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) berdasarkan (1) visibilitas gender dan (2) peran gender. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif  dengan jenis penelitian bersifat analitis-deskriptif dengan teknik dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa nama orang, identitas khas gender, dan kalimat yang mengandung unsur peran gender dalam dua buku ajar BIPA Sahabatku Indonesia tingkat mahir (C1 dan C2). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa tabel analisis data. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa representasi gender dalam buku ajar BIPA Sahabatku Indonesia tingkat mahir tidak seimbang.Kata Kunci: representasi gender, buku ajar, BIPA ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe gender representation in the BIPA textbook Sahabatku Indonesia for proficient level (C1 and C2) based on the aspects of (1) gender visibility and (2) gender roles. Based on those aspects, the most visible and most dominant gender in particular roles can be found. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the research being analytical and descriptive with documentation techniques. The data used in this research will be of people's names, gender-specific identities, and sentences containing the gender roles in the two BIPA books Sahabatku Indonesia for proficient level (C1 and C2). Instrument used for the collection of data will be a data analysis table. Analysing data in this research will reduce data, present data, and summarise or verify aforementioned data. Based on shown results, it can be summarised that gender representation in the BIPA textbook Sahabatku Indonesia for proficient level is not balanced.Keywords: gender representation, textbooks, BIPA

Abstract

Learning media has an understanding of tools in the learning process both inside and outside the classroom. Media is a teacher teaching aid (teaching aids), can be a visual aid or other tool that can provide concrete experiences to students. Now media is a tool that is integrated in the teaching and learning process, because of its function as an intermediary for messages. The message conveyed by the message giver in this case is the teacher and recipient of the message or the student. The media in its implementation experienced several problems. This condition is also influenced by the class being taught. Regular classes and BIPA classes certainly have different treatments. The problem of media in the BIPA class is a serious matter to be considered by the instructor.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan susunan dan bahan kajian dan pelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan penyelenggaraan satuan pendidikan yang bersangkutan, dalam rangka upaya pencapaian tujuan penyelenggaraan satuan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia Bagi Penutur Asing) berbasis cultural islamic studies (intergrated curriculum) di perguruan tinggi islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi yang digunakan terkait secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap pengembangan kurikulum di pembelajaran BIPA IAIN Surakarta dengan mengambil sampel penyusun kurikulum BIPA. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik triangulasi yang berupa triangulasi sumber, metode dan teknik. Pada tahap analisis data peneliti menggunakan model analisis reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verivikasi terhadap penelitian yang dilakukan. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian menunjukkan adanya (a) model dalam kurikulum berbasis cultural islamic studies (integrated curicculum) dalam pengajaran kurikulum BIPA di perguruan tinggi islam, (b) implementasi dalam kurikulum BIPA berbasis cultural islamic stuides (integrated curicculum) di perguruan tinggi Islam. (c) keunggulan dan kelemahan dalam kurikulum BIPA berbasis cultural islamic studies (integrated curicculum) di perguruan tinggi Islam.

Abstract

Product development in this article produces learning media to practice reading comprehension skill based RPG Game for beginner BIPA students. The model used in developing the product is the adaptation of Borg and Gall model. Adaptation of the model is done by converting ten stages into eight stages only. Based on product trial conducted, the final product validation result in BIPA experts is 98.44%, BIPA learning experts is 78.13%, and the learning media expert is 83.82 %. The final product validation result for BIPA students is 97.92% and 97.22%. Based on these results, the product is classified as very feasible and can be implemented.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing (BIPA) diajarkan dibeberapa lembaga pendidikan di Thailand. Dari beberapa lembaga penyelenggara BIPA tersebut, terdapat sekitar 30 lembaga menerima bantuan tenaga pengajar BIPA yang dikirim oleh pusat pengembangan strategi dan diplomasi kebahasaan (PPSDK). Pengajar BIPA dari PPSDK tersebar di sejumlah daerah di Thailand, termasuk di Thailand selatan (Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, dan Satun). Jenjang pendidikan penyelenggara BIPA cukup bervariasi, dari sekolah dasar (rongreiyn prathm), sekolah menengah (rongreiyn mathym), dan perguruan tinggi (ni radab xudmsuksa).

Abstract

Bahasa berkaitan dengan budaya. Seperti halnya bahasa yang lain, bahasa Indonesia pun banyak dipengaruhi budaya-budaya setempat. Untuk itu, sebagai strategi pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA)  harus juga mengenalkan budaya-budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Model yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran tersebut adalah multiliterasi berbasis warna lokal Betawi. Dengan multiliterasi pembelajaran tidak hanya mengajarkan aspek kebahasaan tetapi juga budaya mencakup identitas,  keyakinan, profesi, kebiasaan, dan sebagainya budaya setempat. Pilihan tersebut berdasarkan lokasi penelitian yaitu  UIN Syarif Hidayatullah terletak di Jakarta yang didominasi masyarakat Betawi. Selain itu, Betawi merupakan representasi masyarakat Indonesia sebenarnya. Sastra warna lokal yang dipakai untuk model ini adalah prosa berupa kumpulan cerpen Terang Bulang, Terang di Kali dan Cerita Keliling Jakarta karya S.M. Ardan dan puisi lama yang berbentuk Pantun. Dengan multiliterasi, diharapkan pembelajar BIPA selain memiliki kemampuan kebahasaan juga dapat memahami budaya Indonesia khususnya Betawi. Dengan demikian, para pembelajar BIPA memiliki impresi sehinga termotivasi untuk belajar bahasa Indonesia dan menggunakannya  dalam berbagai kesempatan.

Abstract

One step to improve the function of Indonesian language into an international language is done through the development of Indonesian language teaching programs for foreigners (BIPA) in various friendly countries, including Timor Leste. Until now Timor Leste is one of the countries with the most requests for sending BIPA teachers. Therefore certain steps are needed to support the success of this program, one of which is by conducting a study related to the situation and conditions of the language. This study aims to; Describe the situation and conditions of language that exists in Timor Leste both in the realm of government policy and the real conditions that exist in society. Mapping the potential and barriers to the development of Indonesian in East Timor. This study uses qualitative methods. Data acquisition is done through document analysis, field observations, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that East Timor is a multilingual community. In macro terms, there are several regulations that can support the development of BIPA, however, there are also some that can hamper. In micro terms, Indonesian is still considered familiar by certain groups but in general, the younger generation of Timor Leste (especially those born after independence) have many who do not understand/know bahasa Indonesian.

Abstract

Law Number 24 Year 2009 gives a mandate to National Agency of Language Cultivation and Development, Ministry of Education and Culture through the Centre for Language Strategy and Diplomacy Development to increase function of Indonesian language as an international language. Themandateisthenrealizedbythe Centre by launching a program deploying Indonesian language teachers to 23 countries. As part of its evaluation, this research aims to identify obstacles in developing Indonesian as a Foreign Language (IFL) abroad particularly during the program from 2015 to 2017. This research used a descriptive qualitative method through document analysis.The data wereobtainedfrom95 assignment reports by the Indonesian as a Foreign Language (IFL) teachers assigned by the Centre for Language Strategy and Diplomacy Development. The results show that there are eight aspects of obstacles found. The aspects are learning standard, students, teachers, infrastructures, institutions, environments, administration abroad, and inter-agency coordination.

Abstract

The present study identified the learning outcomes of the program of Indonesian for foreigners (BIPA—Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing) and the suitability between student learning outcomes and teaching materials of BIPA. The learning process of BIPA was conducted to improve four language competencies including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Based on the 2016 and 2017 BIPA teaching reports, thirteen teachers assigned to teach BIPA to Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, France, and Russia were successfully able to improve the four language competencies of the students. Meanwhile, the suitability between student learning outcomes and teaching materials of BIPA indicated that: 1) sixty seven BIPA teachers were considered good at adjusting the learning to the teaching materials, 2) four BIPA teachers were rated fair in adjusting the learning to the teaching materials, and 3) ten BIPA teachers were considered poor in adjusting the learning to the teaching materials

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah mencari persamaan dan perbedaan bentuk pronomina demonstratif bahasa Korea dan bahasa Indonesia serta implikasi terhadap pengajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode deskripstif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, bentuk pronomina demonstratif bahasa Korea berupa bentuk dasar, gabungan, dan pemendekan. Sedangkan, bentuk pronomina demonstratif bahasa Indonesia berupa bentuk dasar, gabungan, dan turunan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan sebagai bahan ajar materi pembelajaran tata bahasa untuk pengajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing yang berasal dari Korea.
