Abstract

Product development in this article produces learning media to practice reading comprehension skill based RPG Game for beginner BIPA students. The model used in developing the product is the adaptation of Borg and Gall model. Adaptation of the model is done by converting ten stages into eight stages only. Based on product trial conducted, the final product validation result in BIPA experts is 98.44%, BIPA learning experts is 78.13%, and the learning media expert is 83.82 %. The final product validation result for BIPA students is 97.92% and 97.22%. Based on these results, the product is classified as very feasible and can be implemented.

Abstract

Ecocriticism is a new science for the development of literature. Ecocriticism examines literature by revealing how the relationship of literature to the physical environment (nature). Mata Badik Mata Puisi is an anthology of poetry by D. Zawawi Imron which is thick with natural nuance. The anthology of the poem is dissected using the study of ecocriticism. From the analysis process found that Zawawi Imron put the position of nature as the center of life, unlike other authors who place humans as axis. There are three findings from the analysis, namely the representation of nature as the center of life, balance and imbalance of nature, and nature as a teacher that shows the direction of life. These three findings are based on the study of ecocriticism on the anthology of the Mata Badik Mata Puisi. Thus, it can be concluded that Zawawi Imron tried to raise environmental issues on the anthology of the poem.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is crucial in today’s educational environment because the focus has shifted from teacher-centered to student-centered learning. A student-centered approach allows learners to gain experiences that help them retain information for a longer period. One model that is based on cooperative learning is the Guest Teacher Assistant Model. This model was developed by combining the TAI and TS-TS models, with the goal of helping students better understand the material. The steps in the Guest Teacher Assistant Model include forming heterogeneous groups of four, teacher-led material guidance, and having high-achieving students (acting as teacher assistants) assist their group members in understanding the material. Then, students visit other groups, with one member staying behind to act as the host, and share information by exchanging ideas, discussing, and sharing insights. After that, students return to their original groups for further discussion, write a group report, receive group recognition, and end with reflection.

Abstract

Training on the creation of AI-assisted learning media for teachers was conducted with the aim of improving teachers' skills in utilizing AI technology to create interactive and creative learning media. This initiative was driven by the need for teachers to keep pace with technological advancements in education, particularly in leveraging AI to simplify the process of developing instructional materials. The training took place from July 6–9, 2024, and involved experts from various universities who provided instruction and guidance to participants. Participants were trained to use AI applications such as Gamma AI, InVideo AI, and Suno AI to create presentations, videos, and educational songs. The training results demonstrated that teachers were able to develop AI-based educational media effectively, and a professional network was formed for sharing knowledge and experiences. In conclusion, the training successfully had a positive impact on enhancing teachers' skills and strengthening collaboration among them.

Abstract

Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910) is widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in Russian literature, whose works have had a lasting impact on the global literary canon. This study focuses on a critical analysis of two of his early novels, Kazak dan Penyerbuan, composed during Tolstoy’s service in the Caucasus. Despite their seemingly slow narrative progression, these works employ a deliberate pacing that reflects both the existential stillness of military life and the moral introspection characteristic of Tolstoy’s evolving philosophy. This paper addresses the problem of how Tolstoy articulates the ideals of peace and morality within the structure of narrative and character development in these early works. Utilizing a close reading method combined with historical-literary contextualization, the study identifies three major elements: Tolstoy’s thematic construction of peace, the mediation of moral reflection through dialogue and narrative events, and his technique of narrative immersion. By situating Kazak and The Invasion within the broader historical context of 19th-century Russian imperial expansion into the Caucasus, this analysis contributes to a deeper understanding of Tolstoy’s early engagement with ethical and existential questions. The study proposes that these early texts not only anticipate Tolstoy’s later moral philosophy but also offer a foundational perspective for mapping Tolstoy’s evolving literary and ideological trajectory within Russian literature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan serta merancang solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN 02 Dengkol. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi kelas dan wawancara dengan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua tantangan utama: keterbatasan media pembelajaran dan ketidaknyamanan ruang kelas. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disusunlah solusi berbasis teori konstruktivisme, konektivisme, dan pembelajaran sosial. Solusi meliputi pemanfaatan media alternatif dan digital, serta strategi pembelajaran luar ruang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang lebih kontekstual dan menyenangkan di tingkat sekolah dasar

Abstract

Era transformasi digital menuntut adaptasi guru sekolah dasar terhadap pendekatan pembelajaran baru yang mengintegrasikan teknologi dan pemecahan masalah kompleks. Pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam (PM) menjadi solusi, namun penerapannya masih terbatas. Menjawab tantangan ini, sebuah program pengembangan profesional terpadu selama 18 Jam Pelajaran (JP) dilaksanakan bagi para guru di Gugus 1 Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Malang, yang bertujuan mengakselerasi adaptasi terhadap implementasi PM melalui metode blended learning yang mengintegrasikan workshop, micro-teaching, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil program menunjukkan efektivitas yang tinggi, dibuktikan dengan peningkatan signifikan skor rata-rata peserta dari 87,5 pada pre-test menjadi 97,5 pada post-test. Kontribusi utama program ini adalah dihasilkannya perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PM yang siap diimplementasikan oleh guru, menunjukkan bahwa model pengembangan profesional terpadu dan berkelanjutan efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik di tingkat sekolah dasar.
