Among these factors, technique is an important factor that should be given a special attention because by applying a good technique, the students can improve their ability to organize their ideas into a good writing. This research is intended to find out the improvement of the students’ writing ability by using Information Transfer Technique at first semester students’ of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The method will use a Pre-Experimental research with the one group pretest and posttest design. The sample is only one class that consisted of 40 students which were selected by using Purposive sampling technique. The data were obtained through writing test.

Abstract

This study was conducted to know whether or not the use of Information Gap Activities improves students’ accuracy in speaking skill that covers three elements of accuracy; vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar; and to know whether or not the use of Information Gap Activities improves students’ literal comprehension in reading skill. This research applied a quasi-experimental design; the nonequivalent control group design. It used two groups; experimental groups and control group. The data obtained from the test was analyzed quantitatively and then its’ result was compared with t-table to know whether they were significantly different or not. The data showed students’ mean score of accuracy in speaking skill and literal comprehension in reading skill improved after teaching by using Information Gap Activities. In experimental class, the students’ accuracy of pretest was 1.55 and improved to be 3.06 in posttest, students’ literal comprehension of protest was 0.82 and posttest was 3.21. In control class, the students’ accuracy was 1.90 for pretest and 2.32 for posttest; students’ literal comprehension was 1.63 for pretest 2.27.  These findings indicate that the mean score of pre-test was greater than pretest for that both class. However, the students’ mean score in experimental was greater than control class where accuracy (3.062.37) and literal comprehension (3.212.27). It meant that implementing Information Gap activities were effective to improve the students’ speaking and reading skills. Keywords: Speaking and reading skills, accuracy, literal comprehension, Information Gap Activities

Abstract

The state sovereignty over airspace with its complete and exclusive nature experiences a significant dynamic in both its concept and implementation in the international air law. Sovereignty over the airspace not only provides legislative, executive, and judicialauthorities of the state but also puts an obligation on the state to provide facilities for aviation safety. The reason for aviation safety airspace of a sovereign state can be delegated to other states to manage the service of navigation, for example, Indonesian air spaces in the Natuna and Batam, are maintained by Singapore for the sake of aviation safety. The taking over of the management of FIR in Batam and Natuna had been carried out through several steps. First, establishing Civil Military Aviation Coordination (CMAC) as outlined in the Government Regulation (Ministry of Transportation Regulation Number 55 on 2016) concerning the order of the national airspace. Second, evaluating the implementation of air navigation by reformulating the institutional of LPPNPI, evaluating the cooperation agreement between the Government of Indonesia and Singapore, and providing air navigation service during the transition period in Natuna Islands. Third, conducting the taking over concept phase by phase, in which the first phase, Singapore only provides air navigation service, while Indonesia only monitors. The second phase, Indonesia provides air navigation services, while Singapore only monitors, and for the third phase, as the final implementation, Indonesia provides air navigation services fully. Keywords: Delegation, Sovereignty, Air Space, Air Navigation, Agreement

Abstract

Abstract

Information requirements in the present belongs to the essential needs, because an update is support in an activity. Knowing the information somewhere is important for each of them in order to support efficiency in terms of time and cost. Google Maps is a pointer system location or mapping information online the most popular today. Google Maps is not only available in the form of applications, but also web based. Nowadays more and more emerging applications apps are designed to facilitate employment or human activity, especially in the android application that uses Google maps. Thus many persons are racing to create a Geographic Information System application to determine a location and makes it easy somewhere that can also be used to promote an area that uses the application. With the strategy of information systems and information technology right in running GIS application development then the goal will be achieved with the desired appropriate.

Abstract

The development of increasingly rapid technological changes that make the rise. No wonder if all of the current facility has much mapped into a digital form that is easier for everyone to search for it.This is the main attraction in the development of location-based services technology. The hospital is a professional health care institutions whose services are provided by doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. Along with needed her more in the hospital, then every community is expected to know the locations of the hospital closest to the place of residence to anticipate things thatare not desirable. It takes a Geographic Information System application that can help people to find out where the locations of hospitals that will go.In this study, the authors wanted to learn how to build the information system applications, so that the writer can know clearly about the design of information technology, and can be implemented in future studies.

Abstract

Health is one of the basic human needs besides food, shelter and education, because only in a healthy condition people can live, grow and work better (Agoes & Jacob, 1996). Hence, humans have knowledge regarding the effort to avoid and how to cure a type of disease to undergo treatment at a community health service centers. To go to the center of public health services often come across some obstacles such as the lack of geographical information of the community health service centers. As the development of technology that is growing rapidly, geographic information system is still manual is also being developed into a better form is a Geographic Information System Technology (Geographic Information System) and currently has known the terms Desktop GIS, Web GIS etc. Web GIS the basic concept is a system designed to work with data references spatial or geographical coordinates. GIS has the ability to perform data processing and perform certain operations by displaying and analyzing data. Resume This paper discusses the Web GIS, methods or tools used as well as the resulting output. Based on the description above, the writer gives the title "Web-Based GeographicInformation System for Health Mapping Applications"
