Abstract

Information systems (IS) function gives strength to all individuals or group in an organisation daily responsible for information systems related activities in the organisation. This paper exposes about the development of measuring models the IS function’s performance based on scorecard and DMSM models that uses some criteria inthe areas of IS success. Several criteria developed based on the frame work of IS function within small and medium enterprises with limitations. This study highlights the importance of IT/IS-Business partnership to increase the performance of the IS function, especially related to the capability of IS function to perform a good quality planning, effective system adaptation and good operational support.

Abstract

One of the advances in technology today is the presence of Geographic Information System (GIS). Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system that has the ability to build, store, manage, and display geographic information references. School is an institution designed for the teaching of students / pupils under the supervision of teachers. Public schools, the school organized by the government, ranging from elementary schools, middle schools,high schools, and colleges. Abstract

The level of fruit and vegetable consumption per capita in Indonesia amounted to only 34,55kg / year and 40,35kg / year, far below the recommendation food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). To meet the needs of vegetables in Indonesia needed improvements to agricultural crops. While the land area affect agricultural crops. Currently in Indonesia increasingly narrow land, especially in urban areas. Not a few residents of the city who have interest in farming. But with the condition of the land of the narrow and limited time availability dissuade make urban residents to grow crops. Not a few people who do not want to bother to grow crops. The solution to overcome these problems a hydroponic system is used.

Abstract

Monitoring and surveillance system in forest area is a system developed by implementing the achievement of technology and information to collect data and information in different ways. With the development of science, especially in the field of technology and information, especially in the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) increasingly provide opportunities to obtain information in real time, massive and accurate. ICT-related research for forest areas to be developed is an integrated system between forest ecosystems, buffer zones and urban areas through cloud computing systems involving integrated data centers for various data needs. IoT to be developed include: Visual Camera that can be used for surveillance of animals and vegetation, environmental sensors consisting of Weather Station, Temperature Sensor and Fire, GPS Sensor for Pal Limit. Access and data collection can use 450 Mhz point to point LTE BTS, or satelite at an economical price. Use for data.

Abstract

Study of organizational learning required to discuss the issue of strategy to understand company’s organizational knowledge and how company applied the organizational knowledge toward the changing of the environment. Method of the analysis for this research was based on desk research thoroughly on the existing literature. This research analyzed the viewpoints of different researchers in organizational learning and elaborates the information processing abilities approach of Organizational Learning (OL). Based on desk research on literature, the research discussed information processing approach to explain organizational learning and strategy choice by describing the importance of information and assumptions, the activities of knowledge acquisition, interpreting and distribution of the knowledge, typology of exploitation and exploration learning. It proposed the importance of the company to perform alignment between internal managerial process arrangement and external environment while doing the learning, based on the strategic choice space, as theatrical clustering map of the learning, the fit, the alignment, and the alliances of the organization. This research finds that the strategic space might help the analysis of balancing between exploitation and exploration learning while applying the analysis of varied firm characteristics, strategic orientation, and industrial environments.

Abstract

Abstrak Pertumbuhan pesat dalam aplikasi Internet di bidang pariwisata telah menyebabkan pembesaran ulasan pribadi untuk informasi terkait perjalanan di Web. Di antara kategori utama produk dan layanan, perjalanan memiliki persentase tertinggi sebelum dilakukan pembelian secara online untuk melihat bahwa 73% dari wisatawan melakukan pencarian online sebelum membuat keputusan perjalanan mereka. Algoritma Naïve Bayes dengan mutual information dan partikel swarm optimization sebagai fitur pilihan dan algoritma Naïve Bayes tanpa fitur seleksi, dapat diterapkan pada prediksi travel review online. Dari pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, menggabungkan metode pemilihan fitur, filter menggunakan mutual information dan wrapper menggunakan partikel swarm optimization. Keduanya menghasilkan akurasi klasifikasi yang baik. Hasil prediksi dari peninjauan perjalanan online dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes tanpa fitur seleksi memiliki akurasi 81,50% dengan nilai AUC 0,500, sedangkan hasil prediksi dari travel review online menggunakan algoritma naïve Bayes dengan mutual information dan partikel swarm optimization sebagai pemilihan fitur memiliki akurasi 93,50% dengan nilai AUC 0,965. Peningkatan akurasi data 12% diperoleh dari 200 ulasan. Jadi, travel review prediksi secara online menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes dan algoritme seleksi fitur lebih unggul daripada menggunakan naïve bayes tanpa pemilihan fitur. Kata kunci: analisis sentimen, klasifikasi teks, naïve bayes Abstract The rapid growth in Internet applications in the field of tourism has led to a large number of personal reviews for travel-related information on the Web. Among the major categories of products and services, travel has the highest percentage of pre-purchase online looking at which 73% of the tourists do a search online before making their travel decisions. Naïve Bayes algorithm with mutual information and particle swarm optimization as feature selection and naïve Bayes algorithm without feature selection, can be applied to the prediction travel review online. Of data processing that has been done, combining feature selection method, the filter uses mutual information and wrapper using particle swarm optimization. Both produce good classification accuracy. Prediction results of a review of travel online with algorithms naïve Bayes without feature selection has an accuracy of 81.50% with a value of AUC 0.500, while the prediction results of the reviews online travel using an algorithm naïve Bayes with mutual information and particle swarm optimization as feature selection has an accuracy of 93.50% with a value of AUC 0.965. Improved accuracy of 12% data was obtained from 200 reviews. So the prediction travel review online using naïve Bayes algorithm and feature selection algorithms are superior to using naïve bayes without feature selection. Abstract

Similar to any other governments, Indonesia government has the role of protecting the security of its citizens via the established police unit. However, the executive unit is often unable to provide response in timely manner due to the huge data size. For the reason, an executive information system (EIS) is established in order to provide necessary information to leverage the decision making process. This work intends to establish and evaluate the executive information system and its support to facilitate the efforts to fight crimes in Indonesia territory. The EIS prototype is established and is evaluated on the basis of the six information system success factors where the required data are collected by means of questionnaire. The results suggest that the factors of system quality, information quality, easy-of-use, user satisfaction, and individual and organization impacts are very significant.

Abstract

Network documentation and legal information website is a form of e-government applications such as Jaringan Dokumentasi dan Informasi Hukum (JDIH). JDIH website must be designed to be an effective and efficient information system. This study aims to determine the success factors of the implementation of JDIH website. The DeLone and McLean model and the Unified Theory Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) are the models used in this study. The case study is conducted in the Riau legal and human rights office. Data are obtained through questionnaires from 252 respondents in the Riau provincial government and some communities. The analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). The results of this study show that nine hypotheses have positive effects. Meanwhile, four hypotheses have no positive effects on the success and use of JDIH website. The findings of this research will be used as a reference inthe development of JDIH website in the future.

Abstract

Inventory control is controlling the materials movement to fulfill the requirements. The materials can from the direct and indirect materials. the indirect materials are the materials that cannot be calculated according to the bill of materials. Indirect materials need safety stocks, so the requirements can always be fulfilled, means it need the control and monitoring of their levels. To control the movement of the materials, each department have roles to control and information that need to be shared. PT XYZ is an automotive assembler company, the company need a tool to control the indirect materials inbound and outbound and control its stock. This research is to have the tool that will be a web-based program because to share the information throughout the department of planning, production, and logistics. In developing and implementing the program itself, the RUP methodology is used to guide in doing this research with having four phases and activities that support the research. The result is the program itself have been successful to fulfilled the user requirements. The program shows the real time information for the levels of the materials and also the inbound and outbound of the materials for the user to monitor its levels.

Abstract

Digital library is the source of user information for library data search. The growing technology makes it easier for users to get the information they need. Digital libraries have a lot of content that causes search difficulties based on the interests of users. Using the N-Gram Method and Spelling Correction index applied to the search program will allow users to find the information they need, especially interest-based searches. This search process utilizes text information stored in digital library documents. In text documents, information is obtained directly from the content of the intended document. Keywords: Digital Library, information retrieval, N-Gram, Spelling Correction.
