Abstract

Libraries are considered important to be able to manage, organize, store and collect collections of library materials systematically which are used as a source of information by users. The school library is a place of information especially for students, teachers and other school members. Through information literacy students will be able to learn independently, because it involves recognising when information is needed and being able to efficiently search, accurately evaluate, effectively use, and clearly communicate. The research method used was systematic literature review (SLR) and researchers conducted a literature search using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application using the Google Scholar database by reviewing with a search strategy using the keywords "school library AND children's information literacy", which were published in the last 3 years (2022-2024). The number of literature analyzed in this study was five. The results showed that the library always provides programmes that are used as innovations to increase the level of information literacy in children, not only that the role of parents and the surrounding environment also contributes to the success of these programmes.

Abstract

This study examines the information correspondence between the source and target language by analyzing the translation equivalence according to Nida and Taber’s theory. This project aims to analyze transcript data from a speech video on The White House YouTube channel. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data was obtained using note-taking and transcription methods, then processed in three stages: reduction, presentation, and verification. Based on the findings; there are 110 data (55.8%) which are dominated by Formal equivalence, whereas 73 data (37%) are classified as Dynamic equivalence. Meanwhile, 14 data sets (7.1%) contain errors in the translation. As for the conformity of information, out of 197 data, only 14 data show errors or inconsistencies in essential areas such, proper nouns, terms, and keywords. Other translation information produced 74 data that captured meaning and emotional nuances related to the cultural context, and 109 data that maintained the structure of the translated text using a literal approach, resulting in stiff, awkward, and strange translations.

Abstract

Introduction: Many health applications have been developed at various levels, including primary care, hospitals, district and provincial health offices, private sectors, and the national level, resulting in the fragmentation of health data at the primary health center level. Assisted by Department of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Aplikasi Satu Data Kesehatan (ASDK) Kulon Progo, based on an open-source technology District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) was used to mitigate health data fragmentation in District Health Office of Kulon Progo that has been struggled since 2018 to integrate several routine health data from different programs. Methods: The activity focused on integrating routine data from the nutrition program, maternal and child health program, and immunization to create an ASDK Kulon Progo dashboard for the 2021-2022 period based on various levels. The steps taken to continue this integration into the ASDK included analyzing needs, identifying routine program data, compiling blueprint data, preparing metadata, monitoring, importing routine program data, analyzing and vizualizing it according to the needs of each program. Results: Several metadata have been established on ASDK Kulon Progo based on activities conducted from April to December 2022. These metadata include data elements and indicators featured in six health dashboards. Furthermore, various forms of data visualization, such as pivot tables, charts, and maps have been compiled and integrated into the health dashboards on ASDK Kulon Progo. Conclusion: As a system developed to support monitoring and evaluation activities, six ASDK Kulon Progo dashboards have been arranged based on integrating various health data from cross-program within the District Health Office of Kulon Progo. Support and supervision are required to sustain the implementation of ASDK Kulon Progo.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Marriage Management Information System (SIMKAH) in the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in Tengah City, Gorontalo City. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, researchers explored and analyzed information related to the effectiveness of using the SIMKAH application in the marriage registration process, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The method used in this research was interviews with key informants, including the head of the KUA and the prospective bride and groom. Data was collected through direct observation and analysis of documents related to marriage registration procedures. This research also involves qualitative analysis to understand the experiences and challenges faced by catins in using SIMKAH. The research results show that the implementation of SIMKAH has the potential to improve the quality of marriage services, but there are still several problems that need to be overcome, such as obstacles in using the application and administrative requirements as well as server slots which are very lacking and not yet fully understood by KUA officers. Thus, this research does not only focus on the SIMKAH application, but also covers other aspects that influence marriage administration data collection, so that it can provide a more comprehensive picture of the situation in the Central City KUA, Gorontalo City. Through this research, it is hoped that an effective solution can be found to improve the quality of marriage services at KUA, as well as provide recommendations for the development of a better management information system in the future.
