Abstract

This research applies the Agile methodology to develop a web-based grape seed information system for the Cikarang Grape Community. This method was chosen to enhance flexibility and responsiveness in development, with active involvement from community members at every stage. The process begins with a needs analysis through surveys and interviews, followed by an iterative user-focused solution design. Development is conducted in sprints, allowing features to be tested and evaluated regularly. The implementation results show that the system not only improves efficiency in managing and distributing grape seeds but also strengthens cooperation among community members. With transparent and real-time data access, the community is better equipped to make informed decisions regarding production and marketing. This research is expected to serve as a model for future similar information system development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system for classifying the eligibility of social assistance (BANSOS) recipients using the Random Forest algorithm in the Bagan Batu Kota Subdistrict. The system is designed to assist local authorities in identifying BANSOS recipients more accurately and efficiently, minimize errors, and enhance distribution fairness. A quantitative research method was employed, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, literature review, and document analysis. The dataset consists of 1,100 samples with features such as income, family size, and housing conditions. The Random Forest algorithm was implemented by building a classification model based on training and testing data. The evaluation showed a system accuracy rate of 97%, with a classification error of only 3%. The system provides features for recipient data management, field validation, and automated reporting, supporting more precise decision-making. The results of this study are expected to offer a solution for more effective and transparent social assistance distribution.

Abstract

The application of web-based Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in mapping the spread of diseases at Kotapinang General Hospital aims to improve the effectiveness of health data management and response to disease outbreaks. With a large population and significant health challenges, Indonesia needs a real-time system to monitor and analyze disease spread. This research develops a GIS system that utilizes Google Maps API to visualize epidemiological data, identify high-risk areas, and provide relevant information to health workers. The research methodology includes disease data analysis, database design, and system testing. The study results show that this system not only increases hospitals' capacity to manage health data, but also accelerates decision-making in disease control. Despite data quality and user skills challenges, this web-based GIS offers a significant solution for health management in South Labuhanbatu Regency. This study recommends further development to improve the features and accessibility of the system.

Muh 4 Yogyakarta Middle School is still record the borrowing and returning of books in its library manually. This school haven’t yet store book data in a system causes many errors in data collection, one of which is data redundancy. Recording of borrowing and returning each book is still done manually, so the librarian must always check repeatedly. The aim of this research is to design and build a web-based library information system to overcome existing problems. This research uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) development method. In design process this system uses class diagrams, use case diagrams and activity diagrams as well as applying programs using the CodeIgniter Framework and database storage in MySQL. The result of this research is a web-based library information system that can overcome problems in borrowing and returning books. System testing was carried out twice, namely using alpha and beta tests. Test results show that all features can be built and work well. Beta testing of 80% shows users strongly agree that this system is worth using

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the digital Literacy of rural communities in Indonesia through information technology-based Training. This activity was conducted online and involved 50 participants with a varied basic understanding of digital technology. Interactive training methods using the Zoom application and mentoring via WhatsApp are carried out to ensure participants can understand and practice the training material, especially in social media and e-commerce. The Training results showed a significant improvement in the participants' abilities. Before the Training, only 20% of participants could use social media, and 15% could take advantage of e-commerce. After the Training, this figure increased to 85% and 70%, respectively. Although there are challenges in the form of limited internet access in some regions, the provision of materials that can be accessed offline helps participants in the learning process. This program increases digital Literacy and contributes to improving the local economy through digital marketing of village products. With positive results, this program can be replicated in other regions to empower the community through information technology. This study shows that the right digital training approach can significantly impact Literacy and economic empowerment in rural communities.
