Data were collected from 341 health workers working in public health centers in Indonesia through enumerators as data collectors. The statistical procedure is divided into descriptive analysis using SPSS 25 and structural equation model using bootstraps using Smart PLS 3.2.9. Structural Equation Model analysis found several results. The results positively affect the quality of communication, trust, willingness to change, and support for behavior change. In addition, the study readiness to mediate changes in communication quality and trust in supporting behavior change. Therefore, this study shows that the quality of communication and trust is significantly associated with behavioral changes that support the mediation readiness for change in health workers in East Java, Indonesia. The main question of this study is to assess the effect of communication quality and trust on behavioral change that supports the information system of health workers at public health centers through the variable of mediation readiness for change. Research has been conducted to answer this research question. It has been empirically proven that the quality of communication and trust affects changes in supportive behavior with and without mediation. We believe that the quality of communication and trust due to the combined effect of readiness for change produces behavioral changes that favor more than the quality of communication and trust itself.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Implementation of Balance Scorecard (BSC) and Management Information System on investment decision making through company performance. BSC as a performance management tool provides a comprehensive view of financial and non-financial aspects that are relevant to investment decision making through company performance, while Management Information System (MIS) supports the decision-making process by providing accurate and relevant information. The results of the study indicate that Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and MIS indicators have a significant influence on investment decision making, while performance assessment is unable to mediate BSC and MIS in investment decision making. BSC as a performance management tool provides a comprehensive view of financial and non-financial aspects that are relevant to decision making, while MIS supports the decision-making process by providing accurate and relevant information. Effective BSC and MIS indicators can improve the quality of more accurate and comprehensive investment decisions. The implications of this study support the importance of integrating both tools in strategic decision making in companies.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation between various factors—such as age, job waiting time, and initial salary—among alumni of the Information Systems program at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) who graduated between 2022 and 2024. By analysing alumni tracer data, this research aims to uncover how these variables influence early career success and progression, offering insights into the factors that shape graduates' job market experiences. Key areas of focus include the relationship between alumni age and job search duration, the impact of job waiting time on starting salary, and how continuous skill development contributes to career advancement. Additionally, the study explores how initial salary correlates with job satisfaction, providing a deeper understanding of financial expectations and early career fulfilment. The findings are expected to inform UNESA's curriculum enhancements and support services by highlighting the educational experiences and career strategies that align with positive employment outcomes. Ultimately, this study aims to empower UNESA in delivering targeted alumni support and refining educational pathways that respond effectively to evolving industry demands, fostering sustainable career success and satisfaction among graduates.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is characterized by increased blood glucose levels caused by insulin deficiency or insulin resistance. Knowledge of diabetes mellitus plays an important role in reducing diabetes-related complications and improving its prevention.Knowledge about diabetes influences decision-making related to physical activity, diet, medication use, and health monitoring, including diabetes assessment and foot care. Model Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) is effective in being implemented in providing health education to patients. The purpose of the research is toanalyzing the effectiveness of the information–motivation–behavioral (IMB) skills model on the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients. The research design was quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The number of samples was 66 respondents. The instruments used are DKQ-24 (Diabetes Knowledge Questionnaire). Data analysis used dependent t-test and independent t-test. The results of data analysis showed the influence of the IMB skills model on pre- and post-test knowledge in the intervention and control groups with a p value = 0.000 (<0.05). The results of statistical tests also showed that there was a difference in the influence of the intervention between the intervention and control groups with a p value = 0.000 (<0.005). This study proves that the IMB skills model is effective in improving the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the intervening influence of the quality of financial report information on governance based on the competence of personnel and the internal control system in the Makassar City Government. The objective of this research is to analyse the direct and indirect effects between the independent, dependent, and intervening variables. The data collection techniques (instruments) used include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study comprises 44 regional work units (SKPD) in the Makassar City Government, consisting of 687 individuals selected purposively. The sample size of 268 respondents was determined using the Solving formula. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the SmartPLS program. The results of the study indicate that competence has a significant effect on the quality of financial report information. The internal control system also has a significant effect on the quality of financial report information. However, competence does not significantly contribute to government governance. Similarly, the internal control system does not significantly enhance government governance. The quality of financial report information has a positive and significant impact on government governance. The findings suggest that improvements are needed in the competence area, particularly in enhancing independence in performing core duties and functions. Regarding the internal control system, there is a need for better implementation to identify the added value in each aspect of governance.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, the role of information systems (IS) is not only limited to improving business efficiency, but also to contributing to sustainability and social ethics. This study explores the integration of sustainability and ethics concepts in the development and implementation of information systems. With increasing concerns about the environmental impact of information and communication technologies, as well as ethical issues related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, and cybersecurity, it is important for developers and stakeholders to consider these aspects at every stage of the information system life cycle. This study analyzes the approaches taken by organizations in integrating sustainability and ethics principles into their IS strategies, and evaluates their impact on organizational sustainability and social responsibility. The results show that the adoption of ethical and sustainable IS not only improves the company's reputation but also provides added value through operational efficiency and risk reduction. Thus, the implementation of sustainable and ethical IS practices is key to creating long-term competitive advantage and maintaining a balance between technological advancement and social responsibility. Implementing ethical and sustainable information systems not only provides conceptual benefits such as transparency, privacy protection, and fairness, but also strategic benefits such as positive reputation, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Conversely, not using the right methodology in developing information systems can result in a lack of standardization, project management errors, and significant security risks. Therefore, it is important for organizations to implement ethical, sustainable systems that are supported by structured methodologies.
