Abstract

In terms of data management administration, recording land ownership documents such as Letter C is one of the areas that uses information systems in the village in its implementation, but many villages still rely on manual recording methods, causing operational inefficiencies and minimizing the risk of data loss. With the need for a less complicated process, the purpose of this study is to create and develop a web-based Letter C information system application using Google Apps Script that is digital and integrated to simplify land ownership management and data. One of the development-oriented approaches used is Prototyping. Able to create a working model of the system in its most primitive form and to get initial feedback from users. This allows the system to develop iteratively driven by user needs and preferences. This leads to a system that can record, search, and update land ownership data dynamically. The results of the study show that the proposed Letter C data management system greatly improves the efficiency of Letter C data management while reducing the risk of data loss or making errors. The implication of implementing this system is the increased ability of the village government to provide structured, transparent, and accountable land ownership administration services. This in turn can enable a more accurate and data-based decision-making process in the management of village land assets. Thus, this research can be part of the efforts to digitize the village governance system in the early period, especially in land data management

Abstract

Technological developments in the government office environment are increasingly developing, as well as government agencies having to modernize administration, such as in the administrative section for managing incoming mail. There are many types of letters that enter agencies every day with different needs. These incoming letters are waiting to be followed up (dispositioned) by administrative leaders for further processing at the South Sumatra provincial Dispora service. Over a long period of time and a large number of incoming letters every day, conventional recording methods have become less effective and can cause losses to the service, including lost and scattered letters. In this research, the author aims to create a website-based information system for the disposition of incoming letters at the South Sumatra Province Dispora office. The method used is web engineering and building an information system using the recurring acronym programming language Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL as the database. This website was created to make it easier for the work of managing incoming mail at the South Sumatra Province Youth and Sports Office to run well and optimally, by creating a website to automate incoming mail into electronic mail in the South Sumatra Province Youth and Sports Office

Abstract

In December 2018, a tsunami triggered by the eruption of Anak Krakatau Volcano (AKV) devastated the coastal area of Pandeglang, Indonesia, claiming hundreds of lives and leaving thousands missing. This tragedy underscores the critical importance of enhancing tsunami awareness through disaster preparedness and education. However, the lack of disaster preparedness in vulnerable areas, such as Pandeglang, remains a significant challenge. This is evident from the absence of early warning systems and evacuation initiatives at the time of the tsunami, highlighting the urgent need for improved disaster resilience in at-risk communities. This research aims to develop the disaster preparedness information system to equip society with sufficient knowledge and skill in case of the next disaster. The method this research uses is Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) to obtaining system requirements to the development of prototype. The prototype of a disaster preparedness information system was developed as a result. The system can be accessed using a smartphone or computer. This study introduces a novel approach by proposing a new prototype of disaster preparedness information specifically tailored for vulnerable areas in developing countries.

Abstract

This study aims to help online retail stores find the right strategy for treating customers through customer segmentation based on Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) Score. With a quantitative approach, this study uses the K-Means Clustering algorithm to group customers based on their RFM values and applies it within the Loyalty Program Theory framework. The results show that the Best Customers segment has the highest percentage at 26.3%, which emphasizes the importance of retaining high-value customers through exclusive loyalty programs such as VIP access and premium offers. In contrast, the Lost Customers segment at 24.8% requires attention through retargeting and discount programs to attract them back. This study proves that data-based customer segmentation and the implementation of relevant strategies can strengthen long-term relationships with customers, increase loyalty, and ultimately help the development of online retail businesses.
