Abstract

The need for information today is increasingly urgent in line with the currents of globalization that occur in all parts of the world. Implementation of a management information system based on information and communication technology is an absolute necessity and can provide a competitive advantage so that it becomes a high priority. In line with the development of science and technology, the demands of providing fast information are also increasing. The results of this study indicate that (1) a management information system can assist the administration of students in SMP Negeri 7 Watampone which is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure and human resources that support administrative services (2) factors that support management information systems in Supporting student administration services is adequate school ICT equipment facilities, while the inhibiting factors are the down cycle and database maintenance (system renewal) during the data collection process. The implication of this research is that education personnel are expected to be required to be able to develop information systems to improve educational services by utilizing adequate technological innovations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Accounting Information System in improving the Performance of Sales Incentives in MSME traders at the Pancasila Fort Market, Mojokerto City on the implementation of the Accounting Information System in improving sales accounting performance. MSMEs have an important role in the Indonesian economy, but still face obstacles in accurate and efficient financial records. The use of Accounting Information System, such as Zahir Accounting, Accurate Online, and Jurnal by Mekari, is expected to help traders manage transactions and financial reports more systematically. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through structured interviews and direct observation of 19 MSME traders who have implemented Accounting Information System. The results of the study show that Accounting Information System provides significant benefits in supporting transaction recording, stock management, and automatic financial reporting. In addition, this system also helps traders in controlling cash flow and making business decision-making easier. However, there were some obstacles, such as initial difficulties in understanding the features, relatively high subscription fees, and dependence on internet connections. The results of this study are in line with Suhartini's (2020) theory which identifies eight main benefits of Accounting Information System for businesses. As a solution, it is necessary to improve digital literacy and accounting for MSME traders through training or technical assistance. In addition, Accounting Information System service providers can provide more flexible packages for small MSMEs. Thus, the wider implementation of Accounting Information System is expected to improve business efficiency and the sustainability of MSMEs in Mojokerto City.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of a management information system (MIS) and its role in decision-making at SD Inpres 10/73 Watang Palakka. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the school has adopted a digital-based MIS, particularly through the DAPODIK platform, which enables efficient management of student and staff data. Despite some manual processes persisting—such as attendance tracking and certain assessment procedures—the digital system significantly supports school operations. The MIS has facilitated more accurate performance evaluations, streamlined report preparation, and enhanced administrative decisions, particularly during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, limitations such as unstable internet connectivity still hinder optimal performance. Overall, the MIS contributes positively to improving the school's operational effectiveness and supports strategic decision-making by providing timely and accessible information.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Information Technology Utilization and Human Resources on Hospital Performance Mediated by the Implementation of Lean Hospital (Case Study of Hospital X). The population in this study were all employees at Harapan Sehat Bumiayu Hospital. The sampling method used in this study was probability sampling. The determination of the sample in this study used a saturated/census sample. So the sample size used in this study was all employees at Harapan Sehat Bumiayu Hospital. The results showed that Information Technology has an influence on Lean Hospital. Human Resources have an influence on Lean Hospital. Information Technology has an influence on Hospital Performance. Human Resources have an influence on Hospital Performance. Lean Hospital has an influence on Hospital Performance. Lean Hospital cannot mediate the influence of Information Technology on Hospital Performance. Lean Hospital cannot mediate the influence of Human Resources on Hospital Performance.

Abstract

Action research is a research design that has the potential to be used in information systems and internal auditing research because of its similarities in the framework. Action research was initially qualitative, but as its methodology developed, quantitative components were added as an integral part of both the data collection and its analysis and interpretation phases. Mixed methods are considered effective in leveraging the strengths and reducing the weaknesses of both quantitative and qualitative approaches in either parallel or sequential designs. The author supports the idea that, methodologically, action research in information systems and internal auditing can adopt mixed methods in either parallel or sequential designs while considering scientific stages and ethical values.Keywords: action research, quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods.

Abstract

This study explores the novel application of the Ajendamento online scheduling system in Timor-Leste’s passport services, addressing gaps in prior research by focusing on its dual role in enhancing transparency and accountability while confronting unique local challenges. Unlike broader e-government studies, this research provides empirical evidence from a least-developed country (LDC) context, where infrastructural and literacy barriers significantly impact digital adoption—a dimension underexplored in existing literature. Using a qualitative case study design, the study analyzes interviews with 12 stakeholders, document reviews, and observational data from Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Justice. Findings reveal that the Ajendamento system reduces broker interference, improves service efficiency, and fosters procedural transparency. However, persistent issues such as uneven internet access (54.2% penetration), low digital literacy (especially among rural and elderly populations), and institutional capacity gaps (e.g., 26% contracted staff, limited training) hinder equitable implementation. These challenges contrast with studies in more advanced digital economies, highlighting the critical need for context-specific solutions. The study contributes to e-government theory by emphasizing the interplay between technological systems and socio-institutional readiness in LDCs, a nuance absent in Heeks’ (2002) generalized frameworks. Practical implications include targeted investments in infrastructure, literacy campaigns, and inter-agency collaboration to ensure inclusive digital transformation. By bridging the gap between policy aspirations and grassroots realities, this research offers a model for similar settings globally.

Abstract

The expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has played a crucial role in driving Indonesia's economic development, including the financial performance of the SMEs themselves, particularly those in Surabaya that utilize e-commerce/online retail platforms like Shopee. The objective of this research is to examine the effects of e-commerce, Systems for managing information in the field of accounting, and the integration of financial services, both partially and simultaneously, regarding the economic outcomes of small and medium-sized enterprises utilizing the Shopee platform in Surabaya. The results from the partial test indicate that e-commerce significantly enhances financial performance, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.003. The variable of the accounting information system also exerts a notable positive influence on financial performance, with a significance value of 0.021. Financial inclusion demonstrates a profound effect on financial performance, with a p-value of 0.000, indicating high statistical significance. These results highlight the significant impact of the three variables in enhancing the financial outcomes of SMEs on Shopee in Surabaya, and the consequences of this can serve as a foundation for crafting policies that foster the growth of SMEs in the digital age.

Abstract

This research looks at how the “Waste Management Go to School” program impacts students’ environmental information education. The study took place in schools involved with the environmental education effort run by the Bening Saguling Foundation in West Bandung Regency, Indonesia. Through simple random sampling, 370 students were selected using a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were used to collect information which was then analyzed with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The researchers looked at three main parts of communication: the person speaking, the message and the channel for delivering the message. The results indicate that knowledge, awareness and attitudes, as well as skills, were all significant factors in student environmental information literacy. Having credible sources was found to be fairly important in helping students become more literate about the environment, according to the communicator variable. Media reports suggested that the right media can increase how interested and knowledgable students are about environmental matters. Also, the message part was found to matter most, pointing out that educational content should be both clear and involve the students. The results indicate that giving priority to strategic communication in schools should help enhance students’ environmental literacy. Research conducted here aids institutions in adopting better ways to teach environmental issues and serves as a reference for introducing sustainability into the curriculum at schools.

Abstract

The community needs effective, efficient, and accountable public services, one of which is tax services. The Urban & Rural Land & Building Tax (PBB-P2) is a new type of tax for the regions. In the course of its management, there are obstacles and problems. Among them, the community as taxpayers (WP) has difficulty fulfilling their obligations in paying taxes. In addition, the weak administration system of services to taxpayers, is due to limited human resources (HR) facilities and infrastructure, organizations, and others. Regional Financial and Asset Management (BPKAD), considers the bureaucracy to be too long and prone to discrepancies in the number of deposits. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The result of this research is that by innovating in land and building tax services and rural areas (PBB-P2) using information technology, there is an increase in PBB-P2 revenue. There was a significant increase in revenue after the issuance of the PBB-P2 tax authority to the Banyuasin Regency Government, the increase was due to the program to facilitate the payment of PBB-P2 by the public (taxpayers) using information technology-based services.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the application of ICT learning media based on Wordwall and QuizWhizzer, on students' interest in learning mathematics.The method in this study is quantitative applying a correlation approach with a sample of 38 students of class VIII MTs SA Tarbiyatus Shibyan. Data were collected through observation, questi onnaires, interviews, documentation, and analyzed by applying the Pearson Product Moment multiple correlation test (Correlation Multiple). The results of the study showed that Wordwall has a very strong relationship with students' interest in learning while QuizWhizzer showed a strong relationship . When both media were used simultaneously,  the results of the multiple correlation test showed a very strong relationship with an  result of  and a coefficient of determination , which means the variation in students' interest in learning can be described by the application of Wordwall and QuizWhizzer. Thus, the application of these two media simultaneously has proven effective in optimizing students' interest in learning. Therefore, educators are advised to integrate Wordwall and QuizWhizzer into their learning to develop a more inspiring and responsive learning experience.  Keyword: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Media Wordwall,  QuizWhizzwer, Learning Interest.
