Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the development design, (2) determine the feasibility, and (3) determine the effectiveness of the Ketep Pass picture book learning media based on augmented reality. This research uses the ADDIE model of research and development (R&D). The research population was 31 students: 9 students for small group trials (class IV A) and 22 students for large group trials (class IV B) of SD Negeri Banyuroto 1 Magelang, Central Java. Data was collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The media development design integrates local wisdom content into information texts. The validation results show that this media has a high feasibility level. The results of the paired sample t-test confirm significant differences before and after using the developed media. Then, the N-Gain test on the small and large group showed a high category which prove that the Ketep Pass picture book media based on augmented reality is efficacious in improving students' reading comprehension.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Information Systems Strategy (ISS) and Digital Transformation (DT) on the performance of private universities amidst theoretical findings suggesting that ISS and DT are influenced by internal factors Management Capability (MC) and external factors Government Business Support (GBS). A quantitative approach survey technique was used with the involvement of 92 private universities in the LLDIKTI Region IV West Java and Banten participating as research samples. The test method adopts the partial least square (PLS) structural equation modeling (SEM) model. The results showed that there is a positive significance of management capability on university performance-both directly and through information systems strategy and digital transformation. This finding emphasizes that capable management can project the formulation and formulate and organize the implementation of an effective information technology strategy, as well as drive a strategy, as well as drive an appropriate digital transformation process.

Abstract

Sleep call is a phone or video call activity between two people, usually a couple, that takes place when they are about to sleep. It is not uncommon for sleep calls to be carried out from night until both of them wake up the next morning. This phenomenon, although it has a positive impact on maintaining emotional closeness in the couple's relationship, can also cause various negative impacts such as disturbed sleep patterns, fatigue, and decreased productivity. This design aims to create an effective information media in conveying messages about the impact of sleep calls through comic strip media. Comic strips were chosen as a medium because of their ability to convey messages visually and narratively that are easy to understand and attractive to the target audience, the majority of whom are teenagers to young adults. An informative comic strip can increase audience awareness about the impact of sleep calls and encourage audiences to reconsider habits for good health

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Web-Based Geographic Information Systems (WebGIS) from a cross-disciplinary perspective. By conducting a structured review of 15 scholarly articles published between 2019 and 2025, this paper aims to explore how AI technologies—such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision enhance spatial analysis and decision-making across various sectors. The findings indicate a growing trend in AI-WebGIS research, particularly in areas like environmental monitoring, disaster management, smart agriculture, public health, and education. While AI integration offers significant advancements in automation, scalability, and user interactivity, several limitations remain, including ethical considerations, data standardization issues, and limited real-world implementation. This review highlights future opportunities in building more inclusive, interoperable, and operationally scalable WebGIS platforms powered by AI.

Abstract

Social media is becoming a crucial digital information ecosystem, with electronic word of mouth (eWOM) significantly influencing consumer decisions. eWOM spreads information quickly to a wide audience, facilitating product comparison, but poses challenges in distinguishing credible information. This study aims to analyze the role of information credibility, attitude towards information, and eWOM in influencing online purchase intention of boycotted American products. Using quantitative research methods and an associative approach, data was collected through an online survey of 200 gen Z consumers, who are individuals aged 12-27 years old, active users of social media, and have knowledge of the boycott. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM technique with SmartPLS software. The results showed that information credibility positively affects information usefulness, online purchase intention, and information adoption. Information usefulness contributes positively to attitude and adoption, although it is not significant to online purchase intention. Attitude towards information has a positive effect on adoption, but not on purchase intention. This research emphasizes the importance of credibility and information usefulness in influencing attitudes and adoption, although not all relationships contribute directly to online purchase intentions.

Abstract

The primary aim of this study was to investigate how entrepreneurial abilities, IT, and financial backing influence the long-term survival of small and medium-sized businesses in Pontianak City. In order to conduct this study, a quantitative approach was utilised, with a survey used as the means of gathering data. The focus group included all SMEs in Pontianak City, and a total of 156 businesses were chosen through purposive selection. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis, with the help of SPSS software. The results revealed that entrepreneurial skills, IT, and access to funding all had a significant and beneficial impact on the resilience of SMEs. Additionally, having access to financial resources was singled out as a crucial element in fostering the growth and competitiveness of SMEs. This study has practical implications for policymakers and business owners seeking to create an enabling environment for the advancement and sustained success of SMEs in the digital age.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the internal audit function plays a vital role in the government system’s detection of all fraud risks in an organization. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effects of information technology, competence and professional proficiency on the effectiveness of internal audits, with internal audit quality as a mediator. This study applies a quantitative approach involving a survey of the internal auditors of the Inspectorates of Greater North Sulawesi, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency, and a census sampling technique. The results of the study show that the use of information technology increases the effectiveness of internal audits, and the higher audit quality resulting from auditor competence increases the effectiveness of internal audits. This study supports institutional theory, provides implications for regional inspectorates to maintain audit quality in performing their respective tasks, and strongly encourages the use of E-Audit applications for early fraud detection in local governments.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business environment, high-quality accounting information is crucial for companies seeking improved performance—particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector. Accounting information quality not only influences internal decision-making but also fosters trust among stakeholders, including investors, creditors, and business partners. This study aims to examine the roles of innovation capability, risk propensity, moral standards, knowledge management, and the management accounting information system (MAIS) in shaping accounting information quality and financial performance. Data were collected through 318 questionnaires distributed to general managers, financial managers, chief accountants, and internal auditors in randomly selected manufacturing companies in Bandung City. The data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS approach to test the relationships among the studied variables. The results indicate that innovation capability, risk propensity, moral standards, and knowledge management significantly influence both the management accounting system and the quality of accounting information. In turn, the management accounting system and accounting information quality significantly affect financial performance. Based on these findings, this study recommends that company management adopt modern MAIS, as it is a critical component for achieving competitive advantage and long-term survival in today’s market.

Abstract

Recent breakthroughs in cryptographic technology are being thoroughly scrutinized due to their emphasis on innovative approaches to design, implementation, and attacks. Lightweight cryptography (LWC) is a technological advancement that utilizes a cryptographic algorithm capable of being adjusted to function effectively in various constrained environments. This study provides an in-depth analysis of elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), which is a type of asymmetric cryptographic method known as LWC. This cryptographic approach operates over elliptic curves and has two applications: key exchange and digital signature authentication. Next, we will implement asymmetric cryptographic algorithms and evaluate their efficiency. Elliptic curve elgamal algorithms are implemented for encryption and decryption of data. Elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman key exchange is used for sharing keys. Experimental results have shown that ECC needs small size keys to provide similar security. ECC takes less time in key generation, encryption and decryption of plain text. Time taken by ECC to generate a 2,048 bit long key is 1,653 milliseconds in comparison to 4,258 millisecond taken by Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) technique.
