Abstract

The manual workflow for reporting maintenance and repair of electrical substations at PT Haleyora Power, which relies on WhatsApp and Microsoft Excel, creates various obstacles, such as delays, risk of data errors, and a minimal capacity for real-time monitoring. This research aims to design and implement a web-based monitoring information system to overcome these inefficiencies. The development method used is Prototyping, which emphasizes active user involvement through an iterative evaluation cycle. The system was built using PHP-MySQL and comprehensively tested based on five quality aspects from the ISO/IEC 25010 standard: functional suitability, reliability, usability, performance efficiency, and security. The research results show the system was successfully built and passed all tests, achieving 100% in functional suitability, high reliability with no data loss, and a usability score of 86%, which is categorized as 'very feasible' by users. The implemented system successfully transformed the manual reporting process into a centralized digital workflow, significantly improving efficiency, data accuracy, and providing real-time monitoring capabilities for management.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced the management of non-profit and educational organizations, including volunteer recruitment processes. Gerakan Sumut Mengajar (GSM), a volunteer-based educational movement in North Sumatra, still relies on manual tools such as Google Forms and WhatsApp for participant registration, file verification, and interview scheduling. This manual approach creates inefficiencies, scheduling conflicts, and delays that reduce the professionalism of the recruitment process. The main research problem addressed in this study is the lack of an integrated system capable of handling the multi-stage recruitment process, especially in automating interview scheduling, which is prone to human error and administrative overload. The objective of this study is to design and implement a web-based volunteer recruitment information system equipped with an automatic interview scheduling mechanism using the Greedy Algorithm. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model, implemented with PHP Native and MySQL. The Greedy Algorithm, particularly the Activity Selection Problem approach, was applied to optimize interview scheduling by allocating available slots efficiently according to the number of interviewers and candidates. The results demonstrate that the system successfully automates registration, document verification, and interview scheduling while minimizing scheduling conflicts. Compared with manual methods, the proposed solution reduces administrative workload, enhances efficiency, and provides a more professional recruitment experience. This study contributes to the development of intelligent scheduling systems in volunteer-based organizations and highlights the applicability of heuristic algorithms in solving real-world scheduling problems.

Abstract

Abstract   The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of Human Resources Competence (HRC), on the Quality of Local Government Financial Statements through the Utilization of Information Technology (IT) and Internal Control System (ICC) as mediating variables. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling approach with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS), the research subjects were Civil Servants, the number of samples was 75. The results prove that KSDM has no direct effect on LKPD with a p value of (0.087> 0.05) and in a 97.5% confidence interval of 32.3% the influence of KSDM on improving the quality of LKPD. In the PTI and SPI mediation test, these two variables are able to mediate HRD with LKPD and P-Value = (0.013 - 0.015 <0.05) and have a positive and significant effect on LKDP, in the 97.5% confidence interval the influence of PTI and SPI values in mediating HRD with LKPD lies between 27.1%-44.2%, with a mediation path coefficient of (0.160-0.252) and significant with t statistics (2.425 - 2.747> 1.96),  Although the results are influential but have a low effect, this is supported by the output of the calculation of the effect size value of mediation ranging from 0.03-0.06, and these results are still reinforced by the results of the Q2 test which proves that the Q2 value is at 0.15-0.29 still in the category of relevant prediction power, meaning that any changes in the Quality of Local Government Financial Statements can be predicted by PTI and SPI variables as mediating variables Keywords: Human Resources Competence, Information Technology, Internal Control System, Mediation.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has brought significant transformation to the global financial sector, including in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the P2PL industry has shown rapid growth. This study aims to examine the influence of investment attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and information cascade on the intention to invest in P2PL, with financial literacy as an antecedent of attitude. Although numerous studies have explored the factors influencing investment intention, the variable of information cascade remains under-researched, particularly in the context of P2PL. This is a quantitative study employing a causal research design. The object of the study is peer-to-peer lending (P2PL). Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 28 indicators measured on a 5-point Likert scale. The sampling design used is purposive sampling, targeting individuals who have previously invested in P2PL platforms within last three months. The study involved 40 participants in the preliminary study and 280 in the main study. The analysis method used is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The preliminary study resulted in the removal of 8 indicators, which were excluded from the actual study. The findings from the actual study show that attitude toward investing, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control have a positive and significant effect on investment intention, while information cascade does not have a significant effect. Additionally, investment attitude mediates the influence of financial literacy on investment intention. The Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) results indicate that subjective norm and perceived behavioral control should be prioritized in strategy improvement. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance of cash flow information in the long-term investment assessment process by considering the time value of money perspective. The study was conducted at PT Mahaka Media Tbk during the period 2020–2022, using consolidated financial statement data covering cash flows from operating, investing, and financing activities. The analysis methods used include cash flow evaluation, capital expenditure (CAPEX) calculation, and free cash flow (FCF) to measure the company's ability to finance its long-term investments internally. The results of the study show that PT Mahaka Media Tbk consistently experiences negative operating cash flow, which has an impact on the company's dependence on external funding to support investment. This condition affects the present value of future cash flows due to higher capital costs, thus reducing the feasibility of long-term investment. This finding emphasizes the importance of integrating cash flow information and the concept of the time value of money in investment decision making, in order to ensure that investment projects can generate added value sustainably. This study provides practical implications for financial management in formulating more effective cash flow and investment management strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates how Computerized Accounting Information Systems (CAIS) and task–technology fit (TTF) shape employees’ perceived usefulness (PU) and, ultimately, sustainability performance in the heritage-tourism context of Borobudur Temple, Indonesia. Grounded in Task–Technology Fit theory and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study employed a purposive survey of 80 CAIS users. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to examine the hypothesized relationships among information quality, system quality, service quality, task characteristics, technology characteristics, TTF, PU, and sustainability performance. The results reveal that only information quality significantly enhances TTF, whereas system quality, service quality, task characteristics, and technology characteristics have no direct effect on TTF. TTF strongly predicts PU, which, in turn, positively influences sustainability performance. Theoretically, these findings extend TTF and TAM by showing that, in a heritage-tourism setting, high-quality information is the critical antecedent of TTF, while system quality, service quality, task characteristics, and technology characteristics are not significant. Practically, managers should prioritize improving the informational attributes of CAIS (accuracy, relevance, and timeliness) to increase user fit and perceived benefits, thereby fostering sustainable operational performance.
