Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of information technology utilization and village official competence on the prevention of fraud in village financial management, moderated by the effectiveness of internal control. It is suspected that information technology utilization and village official competence influence fraud prevention and moderate the effectiveness of internal control. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative approach. Data collection used primary data and a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to village officials in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The population consisted of 380 villages, and a sample of 79 villages, each represented by two financial managers, totaling 158 individuals. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. The data were processed using the SEM method with the aid of the Smart PLS analysis tool. The results of this study prove that the use of information technology has an effect on fraud prevention and that the competence of village officials has an effect on fraud prevention. The effectiveness of internal control cannot moderate the influence of the use of information technology and the competence of village officials on fraud prevention.

Abstract

The importance of measuring the quality of government financial reports by reviewing human resource competencies and the use of inventory management technology in moderating their relationship is the objective of this study. By distributing questionnaires to 40 regional agencies in the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government, to parties directly involved in the operation of financial reports and inventory systems, through purposive sampling, a total of 114 research respondents were tested. The findings reveal that, directly, the relationship between human resource competence and the quality of financial reports is crucial, so that the ability, knowledge, and understanding of reporting preparation are very necessary, with a significant value of 69%. In addition, the use of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government's inventory management information system was able to strengthen the relationship between the two, although it had a value of less than 15%, which was lower than the direct relationship. Thus, these findings emphasize the need to improve the quality of the apparatus in utilizing information technology to provide quality information efficiently, effectively, and economically as a form of government accountability and transparency to the public.

Abstract

This study develops a web-based online catering ordering system to address issues in traditional catering, such as manual order errors, delayed information delivery, and data inconsistencies. Using the Prototype methodology, the system was iteratively designed with user feedback to ensure functionality and usability. The primary goals are to enhance operational efficiency, improve service accuracy, and deliver a seamless digital experience. Key features include user registration, secure login, interactive menu selection (à la carte or buffet), dynamic order forms for specifying portions and delivery dates, and admin tools for order management and automated sales reporting. The interface is responsive, accessible across devices, with non-functional requirements ensuring data encryption, 24/7 availability, and sub-2-second response times. The development followed the Prototype lifecycle: requirements gathering, system design (using ERD, Use Case, Class, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams), web-based implementation, black-box testing, and ongoing maintenance for bug fixes and performance optimization. Testing validated reliable login, ordering, and payment processes, handling edge cases effectively. This system streamlines catering operations, reduces errors, and enhances customer satisfaction, offering a scalable solution for food services. Future enhancements may include mobile app integration and advanced analytics.

Abstract

This study explores an information retrieval system for news document search, leveraging both syntactic and semantic approaches. The Word2Vec model, utilizing the skip-gram architecture, is employed to capture semantic relationships between words, transforming news articles into vector representations. Semantic similarity is measured using Word Mover’s Distance (WMD) and Cosine Similarity, while a syntax-based method employs regular expressions for keyword matching. The dataset comprises 2,813 news articles from Liputan6.com and Tempo.co, collected between 25–31 August 2019, containing 25,951 unique words. Preprocessing steps include case folding, filtering, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming to enhance data quality. The system was evaluated using six user queries, with performance assessed through Precision@k and Mean Average Precision (MAP). Results indicate that Word2Vec with Cosine Similarity achieved the highest MAP score of 76.86%, outperforming WMD (75.65%) and regular expressions (72.06%). This demonstrates the effectiveness of semantic-based retrieval for news documents. Future work should focus on larger datasets and advanced models like Doc2Vec to improve retrieval accuracy and contextual understanding.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has provided solutions to various operational challenges in the shipping industry, particularly in daily reporting systems that are still performed manually using spreadsheets. PT. LSM currently faces inefficiencies, data inaccuracy, and lack of real-time access in reporting vessel daily activities. To address these issues, this study aims to design and implement a Web-Based Vessel Daily Report Information System using PHP (Laravel Framework) and MySQL as the database. The research adopts the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, which consists of planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. Data were collected through observation, interviews with company staff, and literature study. The system was designed with features such as vessel daily report management, vessel data management, inventory management, user management and automated report generation in PDF/CSV formats. The testing results, which include structural, functional and validation tests, show that the system operates in accordance with its design and successfully resolves the problems of the previous manual reporting process. The system enables real-time, accurate, and secure reporting that supports both operational monitoring and accounting-related decision-making. In conclusion, the developed system significantly improves the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of vessel daily reporting processes at PT. LSM. For future development, the system can be enhanced with additional features such as online crew attendance and ship requisition modules to further strengthen operational and accounting integration.

Abstract

Kecamatan Lembang merupakan salah satu daerah yang sering dilanda bencana tanah longsor. Kejadian longsor di daerah tersebut tidak jarang menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi dan korban jiwa. Sejauh ini, belum ada satupun penelitian yang membandingkan metode pemetaan kerawanan tanah longsor, misalnya analytical hierarchy process (AHP) dan information value (IV), di daerah tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan (1) memetakan dan menganalisis distribusi spasial tingkat kerawanan longsor dan (2) membandingkan serta menganalisis metode AHP dan IV untuk kajian kerawanan longsor di Kecamatan Lembang. Sebanyak delapan parameter kerawanan longsor digunakan dalam pemetaan, seperti ketinggian, kemiringan lereng, arah hadap lereng, jarak terhadap patahan, jarak terhadap sungai, jarak terhadap jalan, litologi, dan penggunaan lahan. Semua parameter tersebut kemudian ditumpangsusunkan (overlay) sehingga menghasilkan peta kerawanan tanah longsor. Hasil peta kerawanan tersebut kemudian dibagi menjadi 5 kelas: sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Uji akurasi juga dilakukan terhadap kedua metode pemetaan. Metode IV memiliki akurasi yang lebih tinggi daripada metode AHP dengan nilai 68% berbanding 56%. Pola kelas kerawanan tinggi dan sangat tinggi di kedua peta tersebut berasosiasi dengan hutan dan jaringan sungai. Selain itu, analisis ini juga menunjukkan kualitas data parameter dan ketersediaan basis data kejadian penting untuk menghasilkan peta yang lebih representatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengklarifikasi bagaimana information quality, system quality, dan service quality memengaruhi e-loyalty dan e-customer citizenship behavior, dengan e-satisfaction sebagai faktor mediasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengguna platform Tiket.com dan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksplanatori. Sebanyak 150 responden dipilih melalui purposive sampling untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei online dan diproses menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS untuk analisis.Temuan menunjukkan bahwa information quality, system quality, dan service quality masing-masing memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap e-satisfaction. Selanjutnya, e-satisfaction terbukti secara signifikan dan positif memengaruhi e-loyalty dan e-customer citizenship behavior. Selain itu, e-loyalty sendiri secara positif memengaruhi e-customer citizenship behavior. Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa e-satisfaction sepenuhnya memediasi hubungan antara kualitas layanan digital dan loyalitas elektronik serta perilaku kewarganegaraan pelanggan elektronik. Hasil ini menyoroti peran penting layanan digital berkualitas tinggi dalam menumbuhkan loyalitas pelanggan dan mendorong perilaku sukarela dan mendukung di antara pengguna dalam sektor OTA Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Education in the digital era requires effective and efficient information systems to support data management and decision-making processes. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies focused more on technical development without emphasizing usability and data accuracy aspects in educational contexts. Aims: This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system to facilitate effective educational decision-making. Results: The results show that the proposed system successfully improves data accessibility, simplifies processing, and ensures higher accuracy compared to previous manual methods. Novelty: The novelty lies in the integration of multi-user access and real-time reporting features that enhance system efficiency in the education environment. Implications: The findings contribute to improving information management performance in educational institutions and provide a reference for future system development. Abstract

This community service with the title Utilization of information systems to increase learning motivation using Microsoft SWAY for students of SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan Garut. PKM is carried out at SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan Garut. The objectives include: 1) to increase learning motivation, 2) utilization of application-based information technology, the methods used are lectures, cooperation, and mentoring. In this service, the results that have been achieved have received a good response to the implementation of PKM, which is indicated by the interest in learning to use the sway application.

Abstract

CV. Ewelding is a metal workshop that experiences difficulties in managing production material stock due to manual processes that result in data discrepancies and the risk of production delays. This study aims to build a web-based stock monitoring information system with a safety stock method to ensure the availability of safe minimum stock. The system development methodology uses the waterfall model, with stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, and is designed to support customer data management, ordering, material calculations, and production monitoring reports. The implementation results show that the system is able to provide real-time information, assist decision-making, and reduce the risk of material shortages. This system also provides efficiency for business actors in managing overall production operations.
