Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the satisfaction of retired participants in Taspen in the Tanjungpinang city area. Methodology: This study adopted a quantitative approach using a sample of 150 retired participants. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 23 and SEM-PLS version 4 to test the measurement and structural models. Results: Findings revealed that service quality and communication significantly affect trust, whereas the utilization of management information systems does not. In contrast, management information system utilization significantly affects satisfaction, whereas service quality and communication do not. Trust significantly affected satisfaction and mediated the relationship between service quality and satisfaction, but did not mediate the effects of system utilization and communication on satisfaction. The model explained 52.8% of the variance in trust and 48.9% of the variance in satisfaction. Conclusions: Participant satisfaction was strongly influenced by trust, which bridged service quality and satisfaction. However, the role of management information systems and communication in driving satisfaction is more direct than that of trust. Limitations: The study is limited to Taspen pension participants in Tanjungpinang City, which may reduce generalizability. Contribution: This study contributes empirical evidence to the pension service management literature by highlighting the mediating role of trust and offering practical insights for improving service delivery, system utilization, and communication strategies.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent males generally demonstrate a lesser understanding of reproductive health compared to their female peers. Paternal involvement is crucial in addressing this disparity, as fathers are perceived as facilitators of more comfortable same-gender interactions. This research employed the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Health Belief Model to analyse fathers' roles in disseminating reproductive health information to male adolescents.Method: A qualitative study was conducted in Surakarta between January and April 2025. Seventeen fathers of male adolescents, aged 10–19 years, served as the primary informants. They were selected via purposive sampling based on specific inclusion criteria: being married and having prior exposure to reproductive health materials. The exclusion criterion was non-local employment without a daily commute. Source triangulation involved an additional 17 wives and 19 adolescents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analysed using Colaizzi's method.Result : The majority of fathers educated their children on reproductive health, indicating positive attitudes and an understanding of its significance for adolescents. Wives significantly influenced fathers' perceptions and communication regarding this topic. Time constraints emerged as a key issue, with fathers expressing willingness to participate when their teenagers were available. It was found that the simultaneous availability of fathers and teenagers was necessary to foster closeness and effective communication.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to establish a theoretical foundation for integrating ICT in chemistry education by examining its pedagogical value, identifying best practices, and presenting strategies for effective implementation. Research methodology: A mixed-methods design was applied using purposive sampling of secondary school chemistry teachers and students in Ghana. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires and pre-post tests, and qualitative data were collected through interviews and classroom observations. ICT tools such as virtual labs, simulations, and digital platforms were explored and applied through blended and inquiry-based learning strategies. Data were analyzed using SPSS for quantitative evaluation and thematic analysis for instructional practices and teacher’s readiness. Results: The findings indicate that ICT integration, including virtual laboratories and simulations, significantly improves student engagement and conceptual understanding. It supports constructivist and inquiry-based approaches, fostering critical thinking and collaboration among students. Challenges remain in terms of technology accessibility and the ongoing need for teacher training. Conclusions: This study establishes a theoretical framework for ICT in chemistry education, linking it to pedagogical models. The best practices identified enhance engagement, conceptual learning, and critical thinking. Proper ICT implementation can improve teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes. Limitations: This study relies on existing literature and secondary data without direct classroom interventions and faces constraints in low-resource contexts with limited ICT access. Contribution: This study advances theoretical and practical insights into ICT’s role of ICT in enhancing chemistry education through engagement, deeper learning, and modern pedagogical alignment.

Abstract

Vehicle inventory management and data collection information system is a system based on a Management Information System so that it has complete implementation functions that aim to record all vehicles. The main objective of developing this information system is to provide services that are faster, transparent and accurate on the service side of borrowing official vehicles within the Widyatama University environment. In the current vehicle inventory information system, it is not yet computerized and is done manually. The inventory registration information system is expected to be useful for minimizing errors that have occurred so far such as the unclear condition of the vehicle and when the vehicle will return, the design of the inventory information system is expected to produce an inventory information system that can work optimally and efficiently can perform testing services, readiness of drivers and management of motorized vehicles that operate according to the provisions that have been regulated, where the type of service can be adjusted to vehicle test data that is periodic, mutations in (Arrive) / out (booking) can be seen clearly by officers or users, other functions are there are changes to the function and status of the vehicle so that the vehicle will always be available and ready to be used.

Abstract

Leave is one of the rights that must be given to employees by a company. The leave application process at PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Kintap is still done manually, starting from the leave application to the results of the leave decision. The process of checking employee leave balances, leave applications, approvals and leave reports still relies on previous leave files. This kind of management process is often complained about because it is felt to be less effective and efficient when searching, changing, deleting data and data redundancy often occurs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to build and implement an employee leave information system which is expected to be able to help the process of managing leave in the Company. This information system was designed using ERD, DFD using the waterfall system development model. This system was built based on a website using the My database. SQL Based on the results of system functionality testing, this leave information system can function well without any problems.

Abstract

Information technology in the world today is developing very rapidly. This development has resulted in an information and communication system that has given birth to new innovations, one of which is online attendance using QR Code. Currently, lecturers' attendance control in teaching courses is still done manually, that is, lecturers sign absences according to the lecture schedule and courses given at the academy. Where there is a problem in this case, namely that they often forget to sign the lecturer's absence which has an impact on the lecturer's teaching honorarium. Because teaching honorarium is calculated based on the absence of control. Therefore, it is hoped that the implementation of web-based attendance using QR Code will make it easier for lecturers to take absences and help academics in recording lecturers' controlled absences which will be handed over to the finance department, thereby reducing the occurrence of errors in paying lecturers' teaching honorariums. The data collection method in this research is observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. System design uses DFD (Data Flow Diagram), as well as system design using HTML and PHP, while for databases using MySQL.

Abstract

RT 39 Jelutung Village, Jambi City is currently facing challenges in terms of disseminating information to its citizens. Conventional methods that have been used, such as announcements on information boards, regular meetings, and distributing leaflets, are often ineffective in reaching all residents. This research seeks to create a website for sharing information for disseminating information in RT. 39, Jelutung Village, Jambi City, using the Waterfall method and UML modeling to describe the system flow. This website is designed to facilitate effective communication between RT administrators and residents and provide fast and accurate access to information regarding activities, announcements and public services. The Waterfall methodology includes the phases of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. UML modeling is used to visually describe the structure and flow of a system, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The finding is a website with main features such as Information Portal, Website Dashboard, Manage Mail. Evaluation was carried out through a survey of RT residents. 39 to assess the effectiveness and satisfaction with the use of this website. The evaluation results show that this website has succeeded in increasing information accessibility and citizen participation in RT activities. 39. Thus, it is hoped that the development of this website can become a model that can be applied in other RTs To enhance the caliber of communication and informational offerings.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a data management application for instructors and training programs at MNC Academy. The underlying issue for developing this application is the lack of an efficient and practical data recording system and insufficient accessibility to important information about instructors and training. Instructor and training data are often complex and continually evolving, making manual management or using office software inefficient and time-consuming. Additionally, digital data recording of instructors and training is needed for the promotional website of MNC Academy, ensuring organized and timely access to relevant information for the public. The application is developed using PHP programming language with the Laravel framework as its base. The application also employs structured routing and Livewire technology to build mini components that support the system’s functionality more effectively. Structured routing is an approach to clearly and systematically organize routes, enabling more systematic management of URL links and providing a structured way to handle navigation routes. Livewire in the Laravel framework is a technology that allows the creation of interactive user interface components without the need to write separate JavaScript code. Using Livewire helps simplify the development of dynamic components by reducing technical complexity. With the implementation of this data management application, it is expected that the data of instructors and training programs at MNC Academy can be managed more systematically, enabling neat record-keeping and providing easier access for those needing this information.

Abstract

Software testing is needed to find errors so that it can be ensured that the system works as expected. A software test that is not implemented seriously will have an adverse impact and cause various problems when used by end users. The learning process for STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun medical record students includes practicum activities where students practice using the medical record system (SimRS) provided in the laboratory. SimRS was created to fulfill its function as a medium for student practical learning. However, in the process of implementing SimRS it is still unknown whether the system used is in accordance with students' practicum needs or not. Testing in this research uses User Acceptance Testing, namely testing 3 aspects consisting of software engineering test aspects, system functional tests, system visual tests by distributing questionnaires to 30 student respondents. Tabulated results of questionnaire calculations using the approach from Aydin & Tasci. The tabulation results show that for tests related to software engineering (RPL) the average score is 4.36, which means ready to go ahead or ready to continue. For tests related to system functionality, the average score is 4.40, which means ready go ahead or ready to continue. For tests related to the visual system, the average score was 4.35, which means ready to go ahead or ready to continue.

Abstract

Subang Regency is an area highly prone to natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and strong winds. In emergency situations, the absence of an efficient and integrated reporting system greatly hinders Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) in carrying out rapid responses, evacuations, and aid distribution. If not addressed promptly, public safety and the effectiveness of disaster management will remain at risk. Therefore, a disaster mitigation application system is needed that allows the community to quickly report disasters through photos, videos, and descriptions directly integrated with the BPBD dashboard. This application is equipped with multi-channel notifications via WhatsApp, SMS Gateway, and alarms, as well as an AI-based heatmap analytics system to predict potential disasters using historical data and weather information from BMKG. In addition, BPBD administrators can verify disaster reports by checking personal biodata linked to the reporter’s account. The system development method applied is Agile Development, which includes observation, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment, enabling intensive collaboration and rapid system iterations based on field feedback. With this system, BPBD Subang is expected to be more responsive and resilient in facing disasters.
