Abstract

Leave is one of the rights that must be given to employees by a company. The leave application process at PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Kintap is still done manually, starting from the leave application to the results of the leave decision. The process of checking employee leave balances, leave applications, approvals and leave reports still relies on previous leave files. This kind of management process is often complained about because it is felt to be less effective and efficient when searching, changing, deleting data and data redundancy often occurs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to build and implement an employee leave information system which is expected to be able to help the process of managing leave in the Company. This information system was designed using ERD, DFD using the waterfall system development model. This system was built based on a website using the My database. SQL Based on the results of system functionality testing, this leave information system can function well without any problems.

Abstract

Information technology in the world today is developing very rapidly. This development has resulted in an information and communication system that has given birth to new innovations, one of which is online attendance using QR Code. Currently, lecturers' attendance control in teaching courses is still done manually, that is, lecturers sign absences according to the lecture schedule and courses given at the academy. Where there is a problem in this case, namely that they often forget to sign the lecturer's absence which has an impact on the lecturer's teaching honorarium. Because teaching honorarium is calculated based on the absence of control. Therefore, it is hoped that the implementation of web-based attendance using QR Code will make it easier for lecturers to take absences and help academics in recording lecturers' controlled absences which will be handed over to the finance department, thereby reducing the occurrence of errors in paying lecturers' teaching honorariums. The data collection method in this research is observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. System design uses DFD (Data Flow Diagram), as well as system design using HTML and PHP, while for databases using MySQL.

Abstract

RT 39 Jelutung Village, Jambi City is currently facing challenges in terms of disseminating information to its citizens. Conventional methods that have been used, such as announcements on information boards, regular meetings, and distributing leaflets, are often ineffective in reaching all residents. This research seeks to create a website for sharing information for disseminating information in RT. 39, Jelutung Village, Jambi City, using the Waterfall method and UML modeling to describe the system flow. This website is designed to facilitate effective communication between RT administrators and residents and provide fast and accurate access to information regarding activities, announcements and public services. The Waterfall methodology includes the phases of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. UML modeling is used to visually describe the structure and flow of a system, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The finding is a website with main features such as Information Portal, Website Dashboard, Manage Mail. Evaluation was carried out through a survey of RT residents. 39 to assess the effectiveness and satisfaction with the use of this website. The evaluation results show that this website has succeeded in increasing information accessibility and citizen participation in RT activities. 39. Thus, it is hoped that the development of this website can become a model that can be applied in other RTs To enhance the caliber of communication and informational offerings.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a data management application for instructors and training programs at MNC Academy. The underlying issue for developing this application is the lack of an efficient and practical data recording system and insufficient accessibility to important information about instructors and training. Instructor and training data are often complex and continually evolving, making manual management or using office software inefficient and time-consuming. Additionally, digital data recording of instructors and training is needed for the promotional website of MNC Academy, ensuring organized and timely access to relevant information for the public. The application is developed using PHP programming language with the Laravel framework as its base. The application also employs structured routing and Livewire technology to build mini components that support the system’s functionality more effectively. Structured routing is an approach to clearly and systematically organize routes, enabling more systematic management of URL links and providing a structured way to handle navigation routes. Livewire in the Laravel framework is a technology that allows the creation of interactive user interface components without the need to write separate JavaScript code. Using Livewire helps simplify the development of dynamic components by reducing technical complexity. With the implementation of this data management application, it is expected that the data of instructors and training programs at MNC Academy can be managed more systematically, enabling neat record-keeping and providing easier access for those needing this information.

Abstract

Software testing is needed to find errors so that it can be ensured that the system works as expected. A software test that is not implemented seriously will have an adverse impact and cause various problems when used by end users. The learning process for STIKES Bhakti Husada Mulia Madiun medical record students includes practicum activities where students practice using the medical record system (SimRS) provided in the laboratory. SimRS was created to fulfill its function as a medium for student practical learning. However, in the process of implementing SimRS it is still unknown whether the system used is in accordance with students' practicum needs or not. Testing in this research uses User Acceptance Testing, namely testing 3 aspects consisting of software engineering test aspects, system functional tests, system visual tests by distributing questionnaires to 30 student respondents. Tabulated results of questionnaire calculations using the approach from Aydin & Tasci. The tabulation results show that for tests related to software engineering (RPL) the average score is 4.36, which means ready to go ahead or ready to continue. For tests related to system functionality, the average score is 4.40, which means ready go ahead or ready to continue. For tests related to the visual system, the average score was 4.35, which means ready to go ahead or ready to continue.

Abstract

Subang Regency is an area highly prone to natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and strong winds. In emergency situations, the absence of an efficient and integrated reporting system greatly hinders Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) in carrying out rapid responses, evacuations, and aid distribution. If not addressed promptly, public safety and the effectiveness of disaster management will remain at risk. Therefore, a disaster mitigation application system is needed that allows the community to quickly report disasters through photos, videos, and descriptions directly integrated with the BPBD dashboard. This application is equipped with multi-channel notifications via WhatsApp, SMS Gateway, and alarms, as well as an AI-based heatmap analytics system to predict potential disasters using historical data and weather information from BMKG. In addition, BPBD administrators can verify disaster reports by checking personal biodata linked to the reporter’s account. The system development method applied is Agile Development, which includes observation, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment, enabling intensive collaboration and rapid system iterations based on field feedback. With this system, BPBD Subang is expected to be more responsive and resilient in facing disasters.

Abstract

Background: Toddlers (ages 0-5 years) are a golden period in human development. In this period, there is rapid development in various aspects, such as physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional. Mother's behavior in providing stimulation and care can affect the development of toddlers. This study focuses on the analysis of the influence of the Information Motivation Behavior Skill Model application on maternal behavior for the development of toddlers. Subjects and Method: This study is a cross-sectional study conducted at 25 integrated health posts in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta from April to May 2024. The sample consisted of 200 mothers of toddlers aged 24-60 months who were selected using the simple random sampling method. The dependent variable in this study was maternal behavior in nurturing the development of toddlers. The independent variables were maternal information/knowledge, maternal motivation, maternal behavior skills, and maternal income. Data collection was carried out by interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis was using path analysis. Results: The results of path analysis show that maternal behavior in nurturing the development of toddlers is positively related to good behavioral skills. (OR= 1.22; CI 95%= 0.70-0.80; p< 0.001). Maternal behavioral skills are influenced by information (OR= 1.35; CI 95%= 0.899-1.90; p<0.001) and motivation (OR= 1.36; CI 95%= 0.82-1.89; p<0.001).  The path analysis model showed good fit (p= 0.134 (>0.05); RSMEA= 0.06 (<0.08); CFI= 0.98 (>0.90); TLI= 0.97).    Conclusion: Maternal behavior in nurturing toddler development is directly influenced by maternal behavioral skills, maternal information/knowledge, maternal income. Mother's behavior in nurturing toddler development is indirectly influenced by information on maternal behavior through maternal behavior skills and maternal motivation towards maternal behavior through maternal behavior skills. Thus, the Information Motivation Behavior Skill Model can be used to improve maternal behavior in nurturing toddler development.

Abstract

One of the main issues in physics education is the high incidence of student misconceptions, particularly regarding the concept of dynamic fluids. Misconceptions can hinder conceptual understanding and negatively affect students’ cognitive abilities in comprehending more advanced material. This study aims to identify the level of misconceptions and determine the sources of information that contribute to the formation of these misconceptions. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using the Five-Tier Diagnostic Test instrument, which consists of five components: answer selection, confidence in the answer, reasoning, confidence in the reasoning, and source of information. The research subjects were all 19 eleventh-grade students of SMA Swasta Methodist 7 Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed that 12% of the students experienced misconceptions, with the most dominant subtopic being the continuity equation (14%). The primary sources of misconceptions were identified as personal reasoning (25%) and peer interaction (20%). These findings indicate that both internal and social factors significantly influence the development of incorrect conceptual understanding. Therefore, the use of a five-tier diagnostic instrument is recommended as an early identification tool to design more effective and targeted learning improvement strategies.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this analysis was to establish the connection between the use of the extended audit report, as an independent variable, and the attainment of the relevance of accounting information and improvement of the quality of external auditing, as the last two variables are referred to as dependent. The analysis of this relationship was done by studying the extended audit report, with the main aim of identifying the significant developments that have taken place in such reports under the backdrop of the recent professional publications. The paper has also determined the key qualitative features that have been included in the accounting information to enable it be better placed to serve the needs of the users in terms of quality and disclosure. Besides, the research examined the connection between the adoption of the extended audit report and the relevance of accounting information and external auditing quality. Method: A purposive sample of 248 observations during a period of four years, 2016-2019 was sampled to analyze this relationship in a scientific and accurate manner. The sample in the study was confined to the companies, which apply the extended audit report, which they complete under the control of the central body or follow the system of the doubling entries.  Results:  The research has found substantial findings that indicate that the higher the degree of commitment to adopt the extended audit report, the better the relevance of the accounting information, especially in the abnormal returns of the shares. The research also established that adoption of extended audit report helps in improving quality of external auditing since auditors are guided by giving more detailed opinion that encompasses different aspects of the company.  Novelty: These findings underscore the need to use these reports to enhance the efficiency of the accounting and auditing system and hence enhance increased transparency and credibility in financial reporting.

Abstract

Abstract: The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) plays an important role in supporting the management of academic administration in higher education institutions, particularly for students. ABC University has implemented SIAKAD since 2018 to facilitate administrative ativities in line with its motto of a high technology campus. This study aims to measure the sucess of SIAKAD usage from the aspects of acceptance, satisfaction, suitability, and perceived benefits. The integration of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), DeLone & McLean, and Task Technology Fit (TTF) models was carried out to obain a more comprehensive overview in assessing the success of SIAKAD. UTAUT explains the factors influencing the intention to use, DeLone & McLean emphasizes the relationship between system quality and both user satisfaction and net benefits, while TTF evaluates the fit between technology and user tasks. By combining these three models, the study addresses the limitations of each model and produces a more holistic approach in measuring acceptance, success, and the appropriateness of system use.
