Abstract

Rancangan Flight Information Display System (FIDS) dan Public Address System (PAS) ini dibuat dengan tujuan gunamenunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar di Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya yang ditujukan kepada taruna yangsebelumnya belum ada agar para taruna lebih paham tentang fasilitas tampilan jadwal penerbangan yang ada di bandaraini. Rancangan yang dilengkapi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi saat ini yaitu system control announcer denganmenggunakan PAS.Rancangan ini menggunakan Java sebagai aplikasi input master flight untuk menampilkan informasi departure dan arrival.Menggunakan satu PC server sebagai broadcaster dan satu monitor sebagai output display FIDS. Pada PC server danRaspberry Pi menggunakan operating system yang sama, yaitu Linux. Kemudian PC server akan melakukan pengirimandata melalui kabel UTP ke Raspberry Pi. Data akan diproses untuk dapat diteruskan ke monitor sebagai tampilan FIDSmelalui kabel HDMI dan juga akan diproses untuk dapat diteruskan ke speaker sebagai output berupa audio.

Abstract

Modifikasi sistem otomatis penyimpanan data ini dibuat dengan tujuan guna menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar agar para taruna lebih paham tentang fasilitas tampilan jadwal penerbangan yang ada di bandara dengan tambahan output suara otomatis dari Public Address System (PAS) di Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya. Modifikasi ini akan ditambah sistem record data dimana sistem akan me-record jumah penerbangan dan akan otomatis tampil di layar monitor PC server. Aplikasi java digunakan sebagai input master flight untuk menampilkan informasi departure dan arrival, menggunakan satu PC server sebagai broadcaster dan satu monitor sebagai output display FIDS. Pada PC server dan Raspberry Pi menggunakan operating system yang sama, yaitu Linux. PC server akan melakukan pengiriman data melalui kabel UTP ke Raspberry Pi. Data akan diproses untuk dapat diteruskan ke monitor sebagai tampilan FIDS melalui kabel HDMI dan juga akan di proses secara otomatis saat terjadi perubahan pada jadwal FIDS sehingga output langsung keluar melalui speaker berupa audio.

Abstract

Dikarenakan tidak harmoninya jaringan internet yang ada di laboratorium terintegrasi yang di sebabkan oleh komponen-komponen yang menunjang jaringan internet yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan klien, belum dapat mengurangi Domain Collision,Serta belum terdapat sitem monitor untuk mengamati status atau perubahan Bandwidth dan Traffic pada jaringan internet yang ada. maka, peneliti mencoba membuat sebuah rancangan suatu jaringan internet yang harmonis dan dapat membagi jalur internet sesuai dengan kebutuhan client sehingga dapat menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar antara dosen dan taruna yang baik dan lancar. Maka dari itu di butuhkan router yang memadai dan pengaturan bandwidth yang efektif. Dalam penerapannya router cisco R2901 berfungsi untuk mengatur bandwidth yang di terima dari ISP (Internet Service Provider). Pada router terdapat monitoring bandwidth sehingga petugas server dapat mengetahui jika terjadi perubahan pada jaringan internet pada laboratorium terintegrasi.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an important public health problem in indonesia, in the year 2014 the number of death due to dengue fever in Indonesia 903 people from 99499 cases. Sukoharjo district is one of the bloody endemic distrric in central java. In eradicating dengue fever, the larva survey used is a visual method using the entomology indicator, the house index and maya index. This study aims to determine the effect of house index and maya index on the incidence of dengue fever in Grogol district of Sukoharjo using geographic information system (GIS). The research method used is an analytical survey wuth cross sectional approach. The result of the study showed a maya index effect on the incidence of dengue fever in Grogol district of Sukoharjo (p value 0,00), there is no effect of house index on the incidence of dengue fever in Grogol District of Sukoharjo (p value 0,87).

Abstract

Background: Drugs are biological products, a single or combination of active and additives components. Some additional components are derived from porcine, a substance that is haraam for Muslims. Patient’s rights, such as medication information, are substantial in decision-making process. Medical decision-making in the Eastern culture is not only the patient’s affair, but also family’s interest. This study aimed to determine the public opinion on that matter. Methods: This study was conducted in October–November 2014 using qualitative methods. Data collection was performed in the District of Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency by using the purposive sampling method. Six respondents were selected. Data were collected through in-depth interview techniques and were analyzed using content analysis technique.Results: There were 3 main responses regarding the respondent’s opinions. First, respondents showed several attitudes toward drugs in general and also several attitudes toward porcine-contained drugs. Respondents showed concern for the medications used and wished either to be informed or not about the prohibited substance in the drugs. The decision-making process of respondents was performed by each individual or family, with the guidance of religious scholars. In a doctor-patient relationship, the doctors should be more active in providing information on the medications and the opportunity for patients to choose drugs. Respondents also had a high dependency to the physicians in making medical decisions.Conclusions: Public opinion on patient’s rights regarding porcine-contained drugs shows the people’s attitude towards drugs in general and porcine-contained drugs in particular, the decision-making process and the relationship between physicians and patients.

Abstract

PHC hospitals are type B hospitals in Surabaya that implement IT to provide effectiveness in business processes. Currently the need for IT services is increasing and IT is increasingly sophisticated, this makes PHC hospitals continue to improve IT quality. The authorized part in IT development is the board level for evaluating, directing and monitoring IT. But at this time in the hospital there were no risk assessments, IT policies, monitoring of IT risk management, determination of IT standards and IT HR management, so that the implementation was not in accordance with the needs and caused re-changes in implementation requiring time, effort and costs for research .In solving the problem solving there needs to be an IT governance that focuses on board level, the framework that can be used is CobIT5, which has support for managing board level parts, namely Evaluation, Direct Monitoring (EDM),The results of this information technology governance design in the form of 33 recommendations for achieving capability level 1. 33 These recommendations are obtained from output work products that include 5 EDM domains that can ensure having a governance framework, IT benefits that support business, risk optimization, resource optimization and stakeholder transparency.Keywords: Information Technology Governance, Board Level, CobIT5, EDM.

Abstract

The institution of SMAS Al-Multazam Mojokerto is an educational institution located in Islamic Education Foundation naunagan Al-Multazam housed in Kepuhanyar Highway No. 24 subdistrict of Mojokerto Mojoanyar. SMAS Al-Multazam in improving service quality of academic, SMAS Al-Multazam issued policies do the migration from manual process becomes a process of tersistem with good match from one of Al-Multazam SMAS mission. The issues facing the SMAS Al-Multazam currently include first, the determination of class time takes a long time because it takes seven days to correct the problem with the entry value. Second, in doing scheduling subjects, often happens to crash on a schedule created. Third, the hardcopy form presence form the crash prone, missing data, error and need a recap of additional fees for doubling documents presensi form. Fourthly, the assessment process be longer when the eleventh semester activities will be performed. Based on some of the problems above, Al-Multazam SMAS requires the presence of the analysis and the design of the academic information system that can do the process of determining the class presensi, data storage, scheduling subjects and calculation value as well as making the report. Academic information system design is done using the stages of the SDLC waterfall method. Analysis and design of information systems academic at Al-Multazam SMAS will produce the document specification of Software Requirements (SKPL) and document design and software architecture (DAPL). The document can be used as the basis for the development of academic information systems.

Abstract

Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya is  a 3 stars hotel that carries the concept of “bed & breakfast”. There is a  problem on controlling the cooking ingredients at the Kitchen Department. The problem is, this Department don’t have a proper ingredients usage documentation. As a result the Kitchen Department’s Staff cannot ensure the quantity of ordering the cooking ingredients, and because of this, lacks and excess of ingredients is often occurs. To overcome this problem, an information system for controlling the cooking ingredients in the Kitchen Department of Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya was built. The system applied an Economical Order Quantity methods to calculate the most economic order quantity for each ingredients. Reorder point methods to determine the reorder point of each ingredients where Safety Stocks is based on calculation of the ingredients usage. The test and evaluation result shows that system can minimize the ordering and holding cost of  cooking ingredients and able to control the stock so there are no more excess and lacks of ingredients. The reports of purchases, receipts, and usage of ingredients already fulfilled the information needs of the Head of  Kitchen Department.Keywords: Economical Order Quantity, Safety Stock, Reorder Point.

Abstract

This type of research is experimental, namely by designing, manufacturing and testing the system model. This inventory information system aims to manage inventory data, incoming goods data and item data out at the real store. The testing method on this system uses black box testing which aims to find out functions that do not work well or errors from a system. From the results of testing on the modules in this system, namely logins, units, goods, incoming goods, outgoing goods, incoming goods and reports of outgoing goods can function properly. The inventory system that has been built can help a true store in terms of managing goods data, incoming goods data and outgoing item data

Abstract

This study intends to explain the effectiveness of Guided Reading Technique (GRT) and Reciprocal Teaching Technique (RTT) as a means of teaching English for IT purposesto differently motivated students. Based on the question, this research intends to show the effectiveness of GRT to teach highly motivated students, the effectiveness of RTT to teach lowly motivated students, and the difference between the groups of students before and after being taught using GRT and RTT. This quasi-experimental study uses 2X2 factorial design. Two groups of students are located in their regular setting, taught by relatively similar quality teachers, using similar teaching-learning facilities except teaching techniques which are made different. The first group was taught using GRT, while the second was taught using RTT. Prior to the experiment proper, pre-test was administered to the two groups. The purpose on this test was to make sure that their competence in English for IT purposes was equal. The students were also asked to fill in a questionnaire to measure their levels of motivation. The results of the experiment show that (1) both techniques provide the same results when applied to highly motivated students; (2) both techniques provide similar results when applied to lowly motivated students; (3) there is a significant difference among the groups of students before and after being taught using GRT compared to RTT
