Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam keilmuan perpustakan kaitannya dengan ilmu terapan dalam bidang IT (Information Technology) dikenal dengan istilah otomasi perpustakaan. Otomasi perpustakaan merupakan penggunaan teknologi  informasi dan komunikasi untuk mengganti sistem manual di perpustakaan, Fungsi–fungsi yang mungkin di-otomasikan bisa salah satunya atau seluruh fungsi seperti pengadaan, pengatalogan, sirkulasi, administrasi dan referensi. Teknologi informasi di perpustakaan diterapkan dengan alasan memudahkan pembuatan katalog, memudahkan layanan sirkulasi, memudahkan penelusuran informasi, memenuhi tuntutan terhadap mutu layanan informasi perpustakaan, informasi dalam berbagai media, efisiensi waktu dan ketepatan layanan. Kata Kunci: Information Technology, Teknologi Informasi, Otomasi, Perpustakaan

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara perpustakaan menyediakan layanan informasi, termasuk melalui penerapan sistem Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) sebagai sarana pencarian koleksi secara digital. Namun, Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung masih menggunakan versi lama dan belum menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan teknologi informasi pada sistem Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) dengan menggunakan teori difusi inovasi dari Everett M. Rogers (1995) sebagai kerangka analisis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pustakawan serta enam pemustaka terpilih dari total 28 pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keunggulan OPAC relatif telah dirasakan pengguna dalam efisiensi pencarian informasi, namun masih terdapat keterbatasan pada aspek compatibility, complexity, dan observability karena minimnya fitur visual yang interaktif. Selain itu, belum tersedia mekanisme uji coba sistem dan tenaga teknis yang kompeten. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan OPAC memerlukan pembaruan berbasis teknologi modern, peningkatan kompetensi pustakawan, serta penyediaan tim teknis agar sistem dapat berfungsi optimal dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pengguna di era digital.

Abstract

The use of Information Technology to Optimize Student Engagement in the "Lensa Literasi" School Library at SDN Wonokusumo VI/45 is a study aimed at exploring how the integration of information technology (IT) can affect student engagement in school libraries. This research adopts a mixed-method approach by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative study was conducted through a survey of 200 students using purposive sampling techniques to understand the frequency of IT usage, the types of technology used, and their perceptions of engagement in the library. The results showed that most students use computers and the internet to search for information, while the use of e-books and library mobile applications is also significant. The qualitative study involved in-depth interviews with 20 participants, including students, librarians, and teachers, to explore their experiences using IT in the library, its impact on learning, and the challenges faced in its implementation. Thematic analysis of the interviews revealed that IT integration enhances information accessibility, students' learning motivation, and the effectiveness of library services. The findings of this study highlight the importance of strategic planning in integrating IT, developing adequate infrastructure, and providing continuous training for librarians and students. Practical recommendations include improving technical support, developing IT-based student engagement programs, and conducting regular evaluations to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of IT integration in school libraries. This study is expected to provide significant contributions to educational policies and library management practices that focus on the use of technology to enhance the quality of education and student literacy

Abstract

This article discusses the role of WiFi technology in supporting information search services at the Indo Global Mandiri University Library Palembang. The purpose of writing this article is to get an overview of the role of WiFi technology implemented at the Indo Global Mandiri University Library Palembang to facilitate users in accessing literature through literature search services. This article was written using a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques through direct observation in the field, interviews with informants who are librarians of the Indo Global Mandiri University Library Palembang, and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that WiFi plays a crucial role in improving information accessibility at the Indo Global Mandiri University Library (UIGM), such as access to a number of online journals, e-books, scripts, theses and other scientific works that are digital in nature to support learning and research. But besides that, there are still obstacles in the implementation, namely limited IT experts.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendiskripsikan perpustakaan di era teknologi informasi. Hasil Penulisan ini Dari uraian pembahasan diatas dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa peran dari teknologi informasi adalah sebagai tools atau perangkat alat yang digunakan untuk mengotomatiskan kinerja dari layanan perpustakaan. Dengan penerapan TI baik pustakawan maupun pengguna diharapkan semakin cepat dalam bekerja dan mengakses berbagai layanan perpustakaan. Dengan adanya penerapan teknologi informasi di perpustakaan tentunya komponen pengelolaan perpustakaan pun perlu menyesuaikan diri dengan manajemen yang berbasis teknologi dan informasi mutakhir sehingga mampu menjadi pusat informasi pertama dan utama.

Abstract

Perpustakaan desa yang melek informasi melalui wob blog. Weblog adalah salah satu bentuk perwujudan  perpusta- kaan desa berbasis teknologi informasi, dan menjadi salah satu cara mudah  bagi perpustakaan untuk berbagi infor- masi dan meningkatkan  eksistensi perpustakaan tersebut di tengah-tengah masyarakat  informasi yang tidak men- genal batas tempat  dan waktu. Disisi lain, weblog ini juga dapat  memberikan  pelayanan informasi yang lebih baik bagi pengguna perpustakaan, terutama  menyangkut  berbagai  fasilitas dan  sumber  informasi yang dapat  diakses pengguna perpustakaan. Kesempatan  bagi pengelola  perpustakaan desa untuk menuangkan kreatifitas sebanyak- banyaknya bagi kemajuan  perpustakaan desa dan menjadi jembatan  bagi warga sebelum benar-benar berkunjung ke perpustakaan desa untuk mengetahui, tertarik, dan akhirnya memutuskan untuk memanfaatkan perpustakaan

Abstract

The important role of the library is demanded to support the accreditation and basic needs of the university. In addition, technological developments change people's behavior in searching and utilizing information. Many communities have been overcome by developing university libraries that are oriented to the academic community and the development of information technology. The steps are performed with (a). Determine the direction of development, (b). Standardization of resources, (c).Development of information systems, and (d).evaluation. The effort is a strong foundation of the foundation of the library to the international library that melanasi strengthening of the foundation of universities based on information technology.

Abstract

The use of information technology in organizations, including government agencies, is crucial for improving efficiency and service quality. XYZ Library utilizes information technology in various aspects of its operations, thus requiring an analysis of information technology governance to ensure optimal utilization. This study aims to analyze the performance of information technology governance at XYZ Library using the COBIT 5.0 Framework, focusing on the Deliver, Service, and Support (DSS) and Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess (MEA) domains. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The analysis was conducted to measure the level of capability of the DSS and MEA domains and identify gaps (GAP) between the current state (as-is) and the expected state (to-be). The results show that four of the five domains are at levels 4 or 3, with a GAP of 1 level from the expected target. DSS01, MEA02, and MEA03 show fairly consistent processes but still need improvement in terms of innovation, documentation, and compliance audits. Meanwhile, the DSS02 and MEA01 domains still require improvement in terms of documentation and incident evaluation procedures, as well as system performance. This study provides strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening information technology governance at the XYZ Library on a sustainable basis in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Designing a website-based final project E-Archive information system at the Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business library. (2) Knowing the implementation of the website-based final project E-Archive information system design in the Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business library. This research uses the Waterfall research method, where stages are as follows: (1) Requirement Analysis and Definition (2) System and Software Design (3) Implementation and Unit Testing (4) Integration and System Testing (5) Operation and Maintenance. Based on the research results it can be concluded that: (1) Web-based final project E-Archive information system at the Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business library in its design using a system design model, namely the Unified Modeling Language (UML) including use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams, class diagrams. The programming language used is PHP and MySQL as its database storage with the system development method used waterfall. System testing used is the blackbox method and Usability Testing. (2) Implementation of a web-based final project E-Archive Information System at the Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business library is done well. This can be seen from the results of system testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with a value of 72.9 which means grade scala B or included in the Good category.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan dinamika organisasi menuntut instansi publik untuk mampu beradaptasi terhadap perubahan, termasuk Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan organisasi dalam menghadapi perubahan, khususnya pada bidang Teknologi Informasi (TI), serta merumuskan rekomendasi tata kelola yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi internal dan eksternal organisasi, serta Balanced Scorecard untuk mengukur kinerja dari perspektif keuangan, pelanggan, kebijakan internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Selanjutnya, analisis difokuskan pada domain COBIT 2019 BAI05 (Managed Organizational Change) guna menilai kemampuan organisasi dalam mengelola perubahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Salatiga memiliki potensi yang cukup baik dari sisi sumber daya manusia, pelayanan, dan dukungan kerja sama eksternal, namun masih menghadapi kendala pada aspek perencanaan perubahan, keterbatasan tenaga ahli TI, serta infrastruktur TI yang belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menghasilkan sejumlah rekomendasi strategis pada setiap proses BAI05 untuk meningkatkan kesiapan, efektivitas implementasi perubahan, serta keberlanjutan perubahan organisasi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Salatiga dalam menerapkan tata kelola TI yang selaras dengan tujuan organisasi dan mampu menghadapi perubahan di masa mendatang.
