Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has provided convenience in various aspects of life, including the management of activity agendas within organizations or companies. The Batam Center for Health Quarantine currently manages activity agendas manually using Canva, which is inefficient in terms of time, accuracy, and data management. This manual process often leads to delays in recording and delivering information, as well as difficulties in retrieving historical agenda data of the leadership. Therefore, a web-based information system is needed to facilitate the management of leadership activity agendas more effectively, structurally, and integratively. This research aims to design and develop a Leadership Activity Agenda Information System at the Batam Center for Health Quarantine using the Waterfall method. This method consists of several stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is expected to improve efficiency in planning, monitoring, and managing activity agendas, enabling leaders to access information more quickly and accurately. The research results indicate that the designed information system can assist in managing leadership activity agendas more effectively compared to the previous manual method. With this system, the administration of activity agendas at the Batam Center for Health Quarantine can run more optimally, support overall organizational performance, increase transparency, and accelerate strategic decision-making processes.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology requires government institutions to adapt to digital systems to improve work efficiency. The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Batam City still uses Google Forms to manage voter data, which is prone to recording errors and lacks transparency. This study aims to design a web-based voter data information system to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data security. The model used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with system modeling based on Unified Modeling Language (UML). This research utilizes literature studies, observations, and interviews as data input. The system is developed using PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework to ensure reliability and accessibility. The study results show that this system allows Bawaslu Batam City to input, verify, update, and report voter data more efficiently while also enabling the public to check their voter status and report suspected violations. The conclusion of this study is that a web-based information system can reduce errors in voter data management and increase election transparency. Implementing this system is expected to strengthen public trust in the electoral process.

Abstract

Maternal and child health is a top priority in Indonesia's healthcare system, especially in remote areas that face limited access, medical personnel shortages, and inadequate healthcare facilities. The implementation of a midwifery information system based on information technology is a potential solution to improve the quality of maternal and neonatal healthcare services. However, the adoption of this system still encounters various challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of training for healthcare workers, and internet accessibility issues. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in implementing a midwifery information system in remote areas using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies and interviews with midwives, health department officials, and healthcare information system developers. The results indicate that despite significant obstacles in implementing the midwifery information system, opportunities such as mobile applications, cloud-based systems, and integration with national health systems can enhance the efficiency of midwifery healthcare services. Government policy support and capacity-building programs for healthcare workers are key factors in the successful implementation of this system.

Abstract

Research for finding out about the non-uniformity in the writing of birthplace information in population and civil registration documents, especially identity cards (KTP), which include: differences based on classification or area level, to find out the causes and find solutions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach which aims to describe the current reality. Describe, record, analyze and interpret these conditions, namely regarding the writing of Place of Birth Information in population data and Civil Registration, especially KTP. The facts of this study show that: 1) There is regional level inconsistency in writing information on place of birth on population documents, especially KTPs, which consist of: some write the name of the province, write down the name of the district/city, write down the name of the sub-district, write down the name of the kelurahan/village, and so on, 2) There are no regulations that require writing down the description of Lahi's place, with the same area level. Usually, if the data on the KTP is not uniform, then the data on other population documents will also be different because the data on other population documents originates from the KTP. As a solution to this non-uniformity, you can provide an application design that only provides options for the name of the city/district in the Statement of Place of Birth.

Abstract

Public services provided by the government to the community must be adjusted to the conditions and needs of the community. The differences in conditions of the community results in diverse services provided by the government. Thus, the Tegal Regency Civil Registry Office made an innovation called the Sistem Informasi Registrasi Penduduk (SIPREP/Population Registration Information System). This research aims to find out about the service quality of civil administration services at the village level through SIREP. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with an inductive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. To analyze service quality, Sinambela’s theory was used with 6 dimensions of excellent service including transparency, accountability, conditional, participatory, equal rights, and balance of rights and obligations. Based on the analysys results, it was clear that the civil administration services at the village level through SIREP managed by the Tegal Regency Civil Registry Service had been running well. However, there were several inhibiting factors, namely limited human resources, lack of public awareness regarding orderly civil administration, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure in village offices so that services could not be provided in all villages in Tegal Regency. Abstract

This study explores how the Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK-R) at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Padang contributes to the formation of students’ religious character. While PIK-R is widely recognized as a forum for social and psychological guidance, its role in shaping religious values through students’ lived experiences remains underexplored. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved 20 participants, including counseling teachers, PIK-R administrators, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, enabling the capture of social dynamics and meaning-making processes. Findings reveal that religious character formation emerges through everyday interactions, negotiations of Islamic values, and students’ participation in PIK-R activities. Rather than functioning as a mechanical program, PIK-R provides a space where students internalize values and construct religious identity through dialogue between institutional guidance and personal experience. The study highlights the interpretive dimension of character development, showing how meaning is co-created in the counseling context. The implications suggest that PIK-R can serve as a unique arena for religious character education, enriching youth counseling practices with Islamic values. However, the study is limited to one school context, and further research across diverse settings is needed to deepen understanding of these dynamics.

Abstract

After the passage of the Information and Electronic Transaction law in Indonesia, there is a policy in the form of certain restrictions on conveying rights and aspirations through social media, of course highlighting the problem of hate speech. The purpose of this research is to add insight and application of the ITE Law in solving various problems ranging from hate speech to hate speech on social media. The method used in conducting research is the research method of Inductive qualitative data analysis techniques. This technique is used because it is considered to be able to support and assist us in facilitating the search for data and facts because this method is based on the data obtained and the ITE Law also requires many respondents so that the results of the research do not favor one party. The results of this study can be a reference whether the ITE Law is in line with the 1945 Constitution as a source of law in force in Indonesia. However, in practice there are still multiple interpretations of articles such as 27, 28 and 29 of the ITE Law. This article seems to be a scary thing for critics who are active on social media, or it can be misused as a tool to silence the truth and a political weapon, because there are still some powerful individuals who use this for personal gain. Our suggestion is that the government can review and revise the articles which still have multiple interpretations so that the possibility of having a negative connotation, and the community's stigma towards UU ITE itself can change.
