Abstract

The type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative research, the type of data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. The techniques used in this study are as follows: Observation, Interview, Documentation Data analysis techniques in this study are: Triangulation , data reduction, data presentation, conclusion The results of this study indicate the effectiveness of using information technology in public services at the Timampu village office, Towuti sub-district, East Lueu district, has not used special technology in carrying out public services, however, the village government has utilized social media technology such as WA, Facebook and Twitter in providing services to the community because basically social media that are generally known and widely used by the community such as social media WA, Facebook and Twitter and on the other hand the government utilizes several social media so that it is easier for the community to manage the Timampu village office and this shows the effectiveness of the use of information technology in public services in the timampu village office, east luwu district, in terms of service, it is more effective and efficient because the local government utilizes social media, which is easy for the community to use

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and the Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Central Sulawesi Province in Palu City. The research aims to determine whether AIS and the Work Environment, both individually and simultaneously, contribute to variations in employee performance within a public-sector organization. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 40 employees selected using purposive sampling. The instrument passed validity and reliability tests, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by classical assumption testing. The results reveal that AIS and the Work Environment simultaneously have a significant influence on Employee Performance, indicating that both factors together play a meaningful role in improving performance. However, partial testing shows that AIS has a strong and significant effect on employee performance, demonstrating its essential role in enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making quality in government operations. Conversely, the Work Environment does not have a significant partial effect, suggesting that existing environmental conditions—although generally conducive—are not sufficiently influential to generate measurable performance changes. These findings highlight the strategic importance of strengthening information system quality and employee capability in system utilization, while improvements to the work environment may require broader structural adjustments to produce significant outcomes.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly strong globalization, mastery of Information and Communication Technology is a necessity that is no longer negotiable. Technology also plays an important role in the development of agriculture. One example of Information and Communication Technology is the internet. The Internet presents the world without boundaries. Through this facility, it is hoped that it can be used to find all the information needed and can also be used by rural communities to improve economic welfare. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of use of communication channels (internet) by agricultural extension workers, to find out how to provide agricultural information and the relationship between the use of communication channels (internet) and the provision of agricultural information by extension workers at BPP Sepaku, Sepaku District. The sampling method used a saturated sample or census with 11 respondents. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection was carried out by observation and direct interviews with respondents. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the extension workers in the use of communication channels (internet) were in the high category and the provision of agricultural information in the very useful category. The relationship between the use of communication channels (internet) and the provision of agricultural information shows a high or strong relationship with a Pearson Correlation (r) value of 0,669 Keywords: Internet Media, Agricultural Information, Extension.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang efektivitas penyampaian program Generasi Berencana (GenRe) di masa pandemi Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19). Program GenRe merupakan salah satu program yang digagas oleh Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional untuk menjawab permasalahan pembangunan manusia khususnya pemuda dalam menghadapi Indonesia emas tahun 2045. Penyajian informasi program GenRe semakin menantang karena adanya pandemi COVID-19 yang membatasi pertemuan tatap muka sehingga penyampaian informasi program GenRe dimaksimalkan melalui media sosial khususnya Instagram dan YouTube sebagai implementasi kampanye digital. Kajian ini akan membahas tentang efektivitas kampanye digital dalam menyampaikan informasi program GenRe di masa pandemi COVID-19. Data yang digunakan berasal dari media sosial Instagram dan YouTube dengan teknik random sampling dengan memperhatikan jumlah viewer/tingkat interaksi. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, peneliti akan menggunakan Media Theory yang lebih dikenal dengan Media Ecology Theory yang dikemukakan oleh Marshall McLuhan. Dari hasil analisis, penggunaan media sosial Instagram dan YouTube cukup efektif dalam melaksanakan kampanye digital karena pengemasan konten yang kreatif dan mampu menarik minat khalayak

Abstract

The implementation of the Nursing Management Information System (NMIS) represents a strategic effort by hospitals to enhance the quality of nursing services through the digitalization of care documentation. However, during the early stages of implementation, the system may exert varying effects on nurses’ workload and the effectiveness of nursing services. This study aimed to analyze the influence of NMIS implementation on nurses’ workload and the effectiveness of nursing services, with user behavior as a mediating variable, in the inpatient wards of Khidmat Sehat Afiat Regional General Hospital, Depok City, in 2025. This study employed a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 94 inpatient nurses were recruited using a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, then analyzed using the Partial Least Square-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) method using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicated that NMIS implementation had a positive and significant effect on user behavior and the effectiveness of nursing services, while demonstrating a negative and significant effect on nurses’ workload. User behavior was found to negatively and significantly influence nurses’ workload and positively and significantly affect the effectiveness of nursing services. Furthermore, nurses’ workload had a negative and significant impact on service effectiveness. Mediation analysis revealed that user behavior and nurses’ workload functioned as significant sequential mediators in the relationship between NMIS implementation and the effectiveness of nursing services. In conclusion, the optimal implementation of NMIS can contribute to reducing nurses’ workload and improving the effectiveness of nursing services.

Abstract

Over five years, the implementation of the library information system at IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere faced a challenge, frequent errors during data input that hindered users from fully utilizing the system. These issues not only affected users’ interest but also highlighted the significance of the human factor in shaping the quality of an information system. To make full use of the system, it was crucial to identify and address the problems associated with it. This research delved into the experiences of 242 library information system users, including lecturers, students, and librarians, by using the PIECES method. The goal was to analyze users’ satisfaction and uncover any underlying issues within the system. The results of the PIECES analysis revealed average satisfaction scores, showcasing users' contentment with the system's performance (3.77), information (3.79), economy (3.80), control (3.77), efficiency (3.77), and service (3.89). These findings suggest that the library information system has been meeting users' expectations. However, a significant problem emerged in the performance variable, particularly in the system stability. Additionally, issues related to data compatibility, duplication in storage, and users’ authority management, access control, and system errors were observed in the information and control variables. Based on these identified challenges, recommendations for system improvement were made by targeting low satisfaction levels. Proposed solutions involve enhancing data management, storage practices, user access control, and reducing the risk of system errors, ensuring more efficient and reliable library information system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Work Environment and Supervision on Employee Morale at the Communication and Information Service of Central Tapanuli Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The sample totaled 41 people. The results of the study were found based on the Determination Coefficient Analysis obtained of 0.611, meaning that the work spirit of 61.1% was determined by the work environment and supervisors together and the remaining 38.9% was determined by other factors that were not discussed in this study. The results of the t-test are known to be 3,511 > ttable 2,024 with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05 and t-count supervision of 2,622 > ttable 2.02439 with a significance of 0.012 < 0.05, so the hypothesis formulated that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the employee's morale and supervision has a positive and significant effect on the employee's morale can be accepted. Furthermore, from the results of the F test, it is known that the Fcal value is 29,873 > Ftable 3.24 and the significance of Fcal is 0.000 < 0.05 so that the hypothesis formulated by the Work Environment and Supervision has a Positive and Significant Effect on the Employee Morale at the Communication and Information Service of Central Tapanuli Regency can be accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Management Information Systems (MIS) implementation on company productivity. In the era of digital transformation, MIS has become a key factor supporting operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design of employees and managers in several companies that have implemented MIS. Data analysis techniques were carried out using linear regression to test the relationship between MIS implementation variables and company productivity. The results of the study indicate that MIS implementation has a positive and significant impact on increasing company productivity. This is demonstrated by increased work time efficiency, information accuracy, and the quality of managerial decision-making. In addition, the use of MIS can also reduce operational errors and improve coordination between departments. However, the effectiveness of MIS implementation is influenced by other factors such as the quality of human resources, the level of technology adoption, and top management support. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of MIS plays an important role in increasing company productivity, but requires an appropriate implementation strategy to optimally experience its benefits. This research is expected to serve as a reference for organizations in optimizing the use of MIS as a tool to support company performance and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Management Information Systems in supporting the effectiveness of Knowledge Management in organizations. The research approach used was quantitative with an explanatory design, utilizing primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to employees involved in the use of information systems and knowledge management. Data analysis was performed using linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that the Management Information System has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of Knowledge Management. This is indicated by a significance value below 0.05 and a contribution of 62%. An integrated system can improve the process of collecting, storing, and distributing knowledge more efficiently. Furthermore, organizational culture and human resource competency also influence the success of Knowledge Management implementation. In conclusion, the integration of Management Information Systems and Knowledge Management can improve operational efficiency, decision-making quality, and organizational competitive advantage. Therefore, organizations are advised to focus not only on technological development but also on strengthening a culture of knowledge sharing and human resource capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Management Information Systems (MIS) and digital organizational culture in supporting organizational transformation in the digital era. The approach used was quantitative with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 respondents who were active employees using MIS, using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale and had undergone validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results showed that the level of implementation of MIS and digital organizational culture was in the high category. The correlation test showed a strong and significant relationship between MIS and digital organizational culture with a correlation coefficient of 0.68. The results of the regression test showed that MIS had a positive and significant effect on digital organizational culture with a coefficient of determination of 46%. These findings indicate that the success of MIS implementation is not only determined by technological aspects, but also greatly influenced by an organizational culture that is adaptive to digital change. Therefore, organizations need to integrate information system development with the formation of a strong digital culture to improve performance and competitiveness.
