Abstract

The library is part of a learning resource for students at the Department of Physics, University of Papua. Because it makes it easier for students to find information or knowledge through the library. With the development of technology, humans think about being able to work more effectively and efficiently, one of which is to make computerized systems and systems. This study aims to create a Library Information system at the Department of Physics, University of Papua in terms of book search, book data collection, member data collection, borrowers and book returns. The method used in designing library information systems is the RAD model, as well as using PHP programming language (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor), MySQL database server and using CodeIgniter Framework. The result of this research is a web-based library information system application that has transaction features, making it easier to collect data on borrowing and returning books, and will improve performance and make it easier to manage book data

Abstract

This research was conducted to create an Information System that can make it easier for alumni to find jobs according to their competence. The goal is that alumni can access job vacancy information that matches their interests and expertise through the platform provided by this application. Job search can be adjusted according to certain criteria, and the system provides automatic notifications for suitable vacancies. In addition, Special Job Exchange (BKK) managers can track alumni activities, add job vacancies, and track alumni placements using this application. The speed, scalability, and performance that the CodeIgniter framework offers are advantages. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method, the system can be developed with client orientation. The test results show that this application can help alumni find jobs. This will benefit both parties.

Abstract

Cindy Aprillia Atmaja. Informatics Engineering. Faculty of Engineering. Design a web-based Rezky Medika Pharmacy Reporting Information System (SIRARM) using Laravel 10. Mentored by Julius P.P. Naibaho and Lion F. Marini. Rezky Medika Pharmacy is one of the pharmacies located on Manokwari, West Papua. Apotek Rezky Medika still relies on a manual system in reporting, managing stock, and managing incoming and outgoing drug data. This manual process has the potential to cause various problems, such as errors in inputting data, and confusion in finding information. In this study, the author designed and built a Web-Based Rezky Medika Pharmacy Reporting Information System Using Laravel 10. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. As well as application development using Agile methods, through the stages of planning, implementation, software tests, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. By developing a web-based information system, it is expected that Apotek Rezky Medika can improve operational efficiency, increase data accuracy, facilitate access to information, and strengthen its position as a superior and leading pharmacy in service to customers.

Abstract

Leli Juliyati, Informatics Engineering Department, D3 Computer Engineering Study Program, University of Papua, January 2024 Creating a Web-Based Manokwari Samsat Information System Br, Supervised by Julius P. P. Naibaho. This paper discusses the creation of the Manokwari Samsat Information System website. The aim is to provide information and service regulations to the community. The reason for creating this website is because information is still disseminated manually by officers at the Manokwari Samsat, and residents have difficulty getting information and service rules. In this research, the author created a website using modern technology such as React, Node.js, and MySQL. The client side uses the React Framework for dynamic display, and the server side uses Node.js and RESTful API with Express.js for communication with the client. This website will help Manokwari Samsat officers serve residents better, and make it easier for residents to find out information and rules for each service.

Abstract

Improving the quality of road infrastructure is one of the main priorities in regional development, especially in ensuring the comfort and safety of road users. Road damage that is not immediately repaired can disrupt community activities and increase the risk of accidents, ranging from potholes to serious damage. Therefore, a system is needed to report and receive road damage. Therefore, the author designed and built a website-based road repair complaint information system using the Laravel framework and MYSQL database. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for the public to report road damage in real-time and assist relevant agencies in managing and authenticating reports quickly and transparently.

Abstract

Manual boarding house searches are often a challenge for the community due to limited information, distance, and time. This study designed and developed a web-based boarding house search information system called Kos Logik, intended for the Manokwari Regency area. The system was built using the Laravel framework as the backend, Bootstrap for the frontend, MySQL as the database, and the Waterfall development method, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application involves three types of users: boarding house seekers, boarding house owners, and administrators. The main features include registration, login, location-based search, room details, favorites storage, booking, and reviews. Boarding house owners can add room data, manage facilities, monitor booking status, and view tenant data. Testing using the black box method showed that all features worked as expected. The results of this study are expected to provide an efficient and effective solution for searching and managing boarding houses in Manokwari Regency.

Abstract

Student dormitories play an important role in supporting smooth studies, especially for students who come from remote areas. Waropen Regency provides student dormitories in Manokwari Regency, but their management still faces various obstacles, such as manual recording, lack of administrative transparency, and difficulties in monitoring facilities. This research aims to develop a web-based dormitory information system that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of managing data on active, inactive, and alumni students, as well as facilitate the verification process for Study Plan Cards (KRS), which was previously done manually. The system also includes features for student complaints regarding dormitory facilities, scholarship data collection, inventory data, and report printing in PDF format. The development was carried out using modern technology based on React.js on the interface side, Express.js and Node.js on the server side, and MySQL  as a  relational  database.  The development results show that this system is capable of providing a responsive interface, supporting transparent administrative processes, and facilitating communication between students and administrators. Thus, this information system is considered effective in addressing the needs of student dormitory management in Waropen Regency in the digital era.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a web-based information system utilizing Laravel 9 and Bootstrap 4.6 for the West Manokwari Agricultural Extension Center (BPP). This system aims to optimize information management, increase public access, and accelerate data management. The research method uses a waterfall approach with stages of requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The main features developed include managing extension schedules, farmer group data, work area data, and agency profiles. Testing using black-box testing shows that all functions run as required. This system is expected to improve the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of data management within the West Manokwari BPP.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) presents new challenges in protecting information assets and student data privacy. This study aims to perform an information security analysis in a pesantren currently undergoing a crucial digital transition, aligned with the institutional vision to implement digital administrative services and science-and-technology-based learning. The research methodology integrates the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information security standard as an audit instrument into the TOGAF ADM framework, limited to Phase D (Technology Architecture). This approach aims to establish a foundational infrastructure and critical technical governance that complies with security standards prior to the architecture implementation phase. A selection of 41 security controls was made through asset identification and risk assessment to represent the specific operational needs of the pesantren for effective mitigation. Research findings reveal significant gaps in identity management, backup protocols, and cryptography, stemming from a governance approach that remains reactive. This study concludes that strengthening information security through policy standardization, the implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and data recovery procedures is urgent to ensure the integrity and sustainability of digital services. The synergy between regulatory compliance and resilient technology architecture serves as the primary determinant in protecting data sovereignty within traditional educational institutions.
