Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of earnings per share (EPS), book value per share (BVPS), research and development expenditure per share (R&DPS), and operating cash flow per share (OCFPS) on stock prices of healthcare, consumer, and basic materials companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2015–2024. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis with a Random Effects Model (REM) estimated through Generalized Least Squares (GLS). The sample consists of 13 firms selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 124 firm-year observations after the removal of outliers. The results indicate that EPS has a positive and significant effect on stock prices at the 5% significance level, while BVPS has a positive and significant effect at the 10% significance level. In contrast, OCFPS and R&DPS do not have a significant effect on stock prices, and firm size as a control variable is also found to be insignificant. In conclusion, earnings remain the most value-relevant accounting information in explaining stock prices in the Indonesian capital market, whereas book value exhibits weaker explanatory power and both operating cash flow and R&D expenditure are not fully reflected in market valuation. Keywords: Earnings per Share (EPS), Book Value per Share (BVPS), Research and Development Expenditure, Operating Cash Flow per Share (OCFPS), Stock Prices

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the moderating role of Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the relationship between AI-empowered accounting information systems and audit and fraud detection. The research method used is quantitative analysis with data collection through questionnaires distributed to respondents from finance and accounting departments of companies in Indonesia. This study uses multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test hypotheses. The results show that AI in accounting information systems has a significant effect on audit and fraud detection, with prevention and investigation dimensions as the main contributors. NLP partially moderates the relationship between AI and audit and fraud detection, where NLP significantly strengthens the prevention dimension, negatively moderates the investigation dimension, but does not moderate the dimensions of data gathering, data analysis, risk assessment, and detection. Theoretical Contribution: This study extends the literature on AI and NLP integration in accounting information systems by showing that NLP effectiveness is context-specific and differential depending on the AI dimension being moderated. Practical Contribution: These findings provide guidance for audit practitioners and organizations in prioritizing NLP implementation in preventive audit systems, as well as providing careful considerations in implementing NLP for fraud investigation.

Abstract

Bengkulu as their university of choice. The problem addressed in this research is how students search for and utilize information before deciding to enroll in a particular university. The aim of this study is to understand the process, sources, and utilization of information used by students when selecting Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving six new students from different study programs. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify patterns of information needs, information search, and information use. The results show that students experience uncertainty when choosing a university, which encourages them to seek information about campus facilities, tuition fees, study programs, student activities, and career prospects. Students obtain information from both informal sources such as family, friends, and alumni, and formal sources such as social media and official university promotional media. The information is compared across sources before being used as the basis for decision-making. In conclusion, information-seeking behavior helps students reduce uncertainty and strengthen their confidence in selecting Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu as their university.

Abstract

In today's rapidly changing organizational landscape, innovation has become a key determinant of competitiveness and sustainability, especially in technology-based public sector organizations. However, fostering innovative work behavior remains a challenge that requires a deep understanding of the psychological and organizational factors that drive it. This research aims to analyze the role of psychological capital and perceived organizational support in encouraging innovative work behaviors with work involvement as a mediating variable in the context of technology-based public organizations. The method used was a non-systematic literature review by analyzing 16 Scopus indexed journal articles relevant to the research variables. The analysis process is carried out through narrative synthesis techniques and thematic analysis to identify patterns of relationships between variables and gaps in the literature. The results showed that psychological capital had a strong relationship with innovative behavior, while perceived organizational support played an external factor that favored the formation of an individual's psychological condition. Additionally, work engagement has been shown to serve as a mediation mechanism that connects individual and organizational resources with innovative behaviors. These findings also show that the relationships between variables are integrative and cannot be partially explained. The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of integrating psychological resources, organizational support, and work attachment in driving employee innovation. This research contributes to the development of conceptual models of organizational behavior as well as practical implications for innovation-based human resource management.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of information services using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in improving students' learning independence. The background of this study is the continued dominance of the lecture method in information services, which does not encourage student activity and independence. Therefore, a more contextual and participatory approach is needed.Methodology– This study uses a quasi-experimental framework featuring a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 56 students from grades XIA and XIB at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru, comprising 28 students in the experimental group and 28 in the control group. The instrument used was a Likert scale that had undergone Validation and reliability testing, with a significance value (Sig.) greater than 0.05. The research method involved a pretest, providing CTL-based information services to the experimental group, traditional services to the control group, and a posttest. The Wilcoxon test and t-test were used to analyze the data.Findings – The study found a difference in the increase in learning independence between the two groups. The experimental group obtained a higher average score (145.50) than the control group (137.21). The difference value after treatment was 8.29, indicating a moderate effect. This indicates that the CTL approach is more effective than conventional methods in increasing student learning independence.Contribution– This research provides practical guidance for guidance and counseling teachers on developing more innovative, interactive, and contextually relevant information services, enabling them to increase students' learning independence optimally

Abstract

The growth of MSMEs in Yogyakarta faces significant challenges due to the prevalence of illegal parking, which disrupts public order, urban aesthetics, and consumer accessibility. This study aims to explore the implications of illegal parking on MSMEs from an information literacy perspective and to develop an information literacy integration model to address these issues. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Six MSME actors in Yogyakarta were selected as informants. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The researcher acted as the primary instrument, supported by an interview guide. The findings indicate that illegal parking significantly reduces customer accessibility and leads to a decline in business revenue. In addition to economic impacts, illegal parking contributes to social conflict and deteriorates the image of the area. Information literacy emerges as a key element that enables business actors to understand regulations, evaluate credible information, and engage in data-driven advocacy with local government. As a sustainable solution, this study proposes a three-phase integration model consisting of a capacity-building phase, a solution implementation phase, and a sustainability phase. The implementation of this model is projected to enhance local government revenue, mitigate social conflict, and foster a more conducive business ecosystem through active collaboration between business actors and government institutions.

Abstract

The escalation of cyber threats in the banking industry necessitates greater transparency of information to ensure the maintenance of the financial system. Nevertheless, there are inconsistencies in the results of previous research and limited studies that collectively integrate board characteristics and digital transparency in Indonesia. This study analyzes the influence of IT expertise, gender diversity, board meetings, and IT governance on cyber security disclosure. This study utilizes a quantitative approach through multiple regression analysis to examine 47 banking sectors listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2019-2023 period. The research findings indicate that board meetings and IT governance have a significant positive effect on cybersecurity disclosure, whereas IT expertise and gender diversity do not reveal a significant effect. In accordance with the principles of Upper Echelons Theory, this study provides a theoretical contribution by demonstrating that the level of coordination and management structure are pivotal factors in enhancing cyber transparency. The results of this study have strategic implications for organizations seeking to enhance corporate transparency and cyber risk disclosure.
