Abstract

The implementation of accounting information systems and work motivation can support in improving employee performance. The implementation of an effective accounting information system can support the smooth process of data processing, the delivery of accurate information, and facilitate organizational operational activities. In addition, high work motivation also plays an important role in increasing employee enthusiasm, responsibility, and productivity in carrying out their duties. Therefore, the implementation of an efficient accounting information system and high work motivation can directly improve employee performance in achieving organizational goals. Good employee performance will provide benefits to the organization, both in improving work efficiency, productivity, and the quality of services provided. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of accounting information systems and work motivation on employee performance at the Implementing Center for Housing and Settlement Area Provision in Java II. The research method uses a random sampling sample by distributing questionnaires to 37 respondents from a total population of 77. The data were then analyzed statistically using the Structural Equation Model method based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS software version 4.1.1.8. The results of this study are expected to be a solution to problems related to employee performance at the Implementation Center for Housing and Settlement Area Provision in Java II. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the application of accounting information systems has an effect on employee performance, and (2) work motivation has an effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of cloud-based information system implementation on organizational performance in the education sector, particularly in Bekasi City. The method used is descriptive-quantitative with the PIECES framework approach (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service). Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with 10 respondents consisting of education service operators, teachers, and school operators. The results show that five PIECES dimentions—namely Performance (4.38), Information (4.22), Economy (4.20), Efficiency (4.33), and Service (4.35)—are in the very satisfactory category. However, the Control dimention only obtained a score of 2.85, which is included in the neutral category, indicating weaknesses in system security governance. This study concludes that although cloud systems have improved operational efficiency and service quality, regular information system security audits and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) are needed to strengthen the control dimention. The implications of this study serve as a basis for developing better information security governance in the digital transformation of education.

Abstract

This study aims to address issues in employee leave data management at the Deli Serdang District Agricultural Office, where leave records were previously processed manually using separate documents, resulting in data duplication, inaccuracies, and delays in preparing reports. To solve this problem, a web-based Employee Leave Record Management System was developed using the Waterfall model through stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System evaluation was conducted using Black-Box testing to verify functional performance. The system supports structured recording of employee leave information, employee profile data such as position and department, and provides real-time reporting features to support administrative decision-making. The application was developed using the CodeIgniter-based MVC architecture and MySQL database, which enhances data accuracy, information accessibility, and administrative efficiency. The results demonstrate that the system successfully minimizes recording errors and improves the effectiveness of leave data management. Future development opportunities include integrating automated online leave request and approval workflows, mobile access features, and notification services to maximize usability and system automation.

Abstract

The phenomenon of ghost attendance, or pseudo-attendance, in digital learning is a serious and The proliferation of digital media and social platforms has given rise to a phenomenon known as educational doomscrolling, the habitual, compulsive consumption of predominantly negative digital content during academic hours. This systematic literature review investigates the relationship between educational doomscrolling and academic productivity decline within the framework of educational management in the digital information overload era. Drawing on 20 peer-reviewed sources published between 2022 and 2025, this study synthesizes empirical evidence on how continuous exposure to negative digital content disrupts cognitive load, reduces concentration, impairs study time management, and ultimately undermines academic achievement. Findings reveal that students who engage in prolonged doomscrolling exhibit significant decreases in assignment completion rates, GPA performance, and self-regulated learning behaviors. From an educational management perspective, institutional responses remain inadequate, with most universities lacking formal digital wellness policies or structured interventions. This review proposes a Digital Academic Wellness Framework (DAWF) comprising four strategic components: policy formulation, pedagogical adaptation, student digital literacy development, and mental health integration. The implications for educational administrators, faculty, and policymakers are discussed, with recommendations for evidence-based practices to mitigate the adverse effects of information overload on academic productivity

Abstract

The development of information technology offers solutions for library management, including at Melati Library in Tebat Agung Village, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, which still uses a manual system. Issues include recording, book borrowing and returning, searching, and report generation, all of which are inefficient. This study aims to design a web-based library information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which enables fast and structured system development. The system was developed using a descriptive qualitative approach, UML modeling, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The resulting system simplifies book data management and is expected to improve the efficiency and quality of library services overall.

Abstract

In line with the rapid development of technology and information, the demand for quick, accurate, and efficient information systems is growing, especially in the field of education. PAUD Rama Cindo in Prabumulih currently relies on conventional methods for managing academic data, such as grades, attendance, and student progress reports, which are recorded manually in large books and stored in physical files. This situation leads to various challenges, such as difficulties in accessing data, the potential for document loss, and inefficient information dissemination. This study aims to design and develop a website-based academic information system for PAUD Rama Cindo to enhance efficiency in managing academic data and delivering information to teachers, students, and parents. The developed system will enable digital data management, making academic information easily accessible, quick, and accurate. With this system, it is expected that academic data management can be done in an integrated and more efficient manner, while also introducing PAUD Rama Cindo to a wider community through digital media. The research methods include data collection, system design, and testing of the developed academic information system application. This study provides practical contributions to PAUD Rama Cindo in improving the quality of academic services through the application of information technology, while also offering an academic reference for the development of similar information systems in early childhood education.

Abstract

Well-organized archives are an important element in supporting smooth operations and public services in government agencies. The Rambang Kapak Tengah Subdistrict Office still uses manual methods in managing records. This is often inefficient and susceptible to damage and data loss. This research aims to design a web-based digital archive information system that is able to increase efficiency and reliability in managing archives in the office. The method used is the RAD development model which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing stages. The resulting system makes it easy to store, search and manage archives digitally. This helps minimize the risk of data loss and improves ease of access and security of information. It is hoped that the implementation of this system can support more effective and efficient archive management at the Tanjung Rambang village sub-district office.
