Abstract

Interdisciplinary Digital transformation in higher education requires integrated academic information systems to support accurate, consistent, complete, and timely reporting to the Higher Education Database (PDDIKTI). However, many universities still face reporting delays, data inconsistencies, and synchronization problems caused by fragmented systems and manual processes. This study aims to analyze the role of academic information system integration in improving the quality of higher education data reporting. A qualitative case study approach was employed at a private university in Banten Province, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, semi structured interviews, and document anal- ysis, and analyzed using thematic analysis and the Miles and Huberman inter- active model. The findings indicate that system integration through API-based synchronization, ETL processes, automated validation, and monitoring mecha- nisms significantly improves reporting quality in terms of accuracy, consistency, completeness, and timeliness. Integration also reduces manual workloads, mini mizes data duplication, accelerates synchronization, and improves transparency in reporting activities. Nevertheless, challenges related to synchronization fail- ures, API security, and institutional interoperability remain important consider- ations. The study concludes that academic information system integration is a critical factor in strengthening higher education data governance and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Financial statements play a crucial role in capital markets by providing information that supports investment decision-making. Despite their importance, investors do not always interpret financial statement information uniformly because interpretation is influenced by individual knowledge, experience, and psychological factors. This study aims to explore how investors interpret financial statement information, identify factors influencing those interpretations, and examine the role of interpretation in investment decision-making. The study employs a qualitative approach within an interpretive paradigm to understand the meanings investors assign to accounting information. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving active capital market investors selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the interactive model of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, complemented by thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns. The findings reveal that investors perceive financial statements as important sources of information for evaluating company performance, profitability, financial stability, and growth prospects. Interpretations vary according to financial literacy, investment experience, information complexity, perceived credibility of financial reports, psychological characteristics, and social influences. Experienced investors tend to interpret accounting information more critically and integrate it with contextual considerations, whereas less experienced investors often depend on external information sources. The findings also demonstrate that investment decisions are not based solely on financial statement information but emerge from an interpretative process involving accounting information, investor characteristics, and broader informational environments. This study contributes to the accounting and behavioral finance literature by demonstrating that financial statements function not only as providers of objective information but also as interpretative instruments through which investors construct meaning and make investment decisions.

Abstract

Purpose − This study aims to understand the affective experiences of followers in responding to tourism information published through the Instagram account @zonakalakkaro. The research focuses on how visual content shapes followers’ emotional attraction, imagination, expectations, and evaluations of the tourist destinations presented. Method − This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore the subjective experiences of followers when interacting with tourism-related content on the Instagram account. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three active followers of @zonakalakkaro, observations of digital interactions on the account’s posts, and documentation of relevant tourism content. Data analysis was conducted using phenomenological procedures, including the identification of significant statements, the categorization of these statements into experiential themes, and the formulation of the essence of participants’ experiences. Findings − The findings reveal that followers’ affective experiences are formed through three main stages: emotional attraction to the visual representation of tourist destinations, the development of imagination and expectations regarding tourism experiences, and emotional evaluation after comparing digital representations with the actual conditions of the destinations. Furthermore, the analysis of followers’ comments indicates that most responses reflect positive emotional experiences, such as admiration, interest, comfort, and a desire to visit the featured destinations. These findings suggest that social media functions not only as a medium for disseminating tourism information but also as a space for constructing emotional experiences that influence users’ perceptions and interests toward tourist destinations.

Abstract

The study employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 MSME owners in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).The results indicate that information technology, tax incentives, and accounting information systems have a positive and significant effect on the quality of MSME financial statements. However, the understanding of SAK EMKM was found to weaken these relationships. The implications of this study suggest that enhancing the utilization of technology and information systems remains essential in improving the quality of financial statements, but it should be accompanied by increased understanding of accounting standards through training and mentoring programs. Practically, the government and related institutions are expected to strengthen SAK EMKM education so that MSME actors can prepare financial statements independently and in accordance with established standards. Theoretically, these findings enrich the literature regarding the role of moderating variables within the Theory of Planned Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Information and Communication Technology (ICT) capability and work culture on the performance of public senior high school teachers in Dharmasraya Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. The research population consisted of 466 teachers, with a sample of 81 selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had met validity and reliability requirements. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests of analysis, product-moment correlation, and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant relationship between ICT capability and teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.744; (2) there was a positive and significant relationship between work culture and teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.812; and (3) there was a positive and significant simultaneous relationship between ICT capability and work culture on teacher performance, with an R value of 0.760 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.577. These findings indicate that work culture has a stronger relationship with improving teacher performance than ICT capability. The implications of this study emphasize that improving teacher performance is not sufficient through technology training alone; it also requires strengthening the work culture, including discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and professional commitment. School principals need to build a collaborative work environment and integrate ICT utilization into teachers’ daily work habits. In addition, the education office needs to design teacher-quality improvement programs that balance the development of digital competence with work-culture enhancement. It can be concluded that the synergy between ICT capability and work culture is an important factor in achieving optimal and sustainable teacher performance in the digital era.
