Abstract

The development of information technology has driven transformation in various aspects of education management, from administration and decision-making to organizational communication and resource management. The digitalization of education management systems offers educational institutions opportunities to improve service effectiveness through integrated information systems, data analytics, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. This study aims to analyze the impact of information technology on the effectiveness of educational management through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The research method follows the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, with the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and article inclusion. Literature was obtained from various scientific publications that discuss the implementation of information technology in educational management. The synthesis results show that information technology contributes to increased administrative efficiency, improved quality of organizational communication, greater governance transparency, more effective decision-making, and optimized educational resource management. On the other hand, technology implementation still faces challenges such as limited infrastructure, limited human resources and digital competence, data security concerns, and resistance to organizational change. Therefore, the success of digital transformation requires policy support, technology investment, digital competence development, and adaptive leadership to improve the quality of educational governance continuously.

Abstract

Bima Regency has diverse tourism potential, including natural, cultural, historical, and marine tourism, supported by accommodation and tourism businesses. However, tourism information is still distributed across several platforms, is not centralized, and is not presented completely. This condition makes it difficult for local communities and tourists to obtain information about destinations, facilities, road access, accommodation, events, and tourism news. This study aims to design the UI/UX of a web-based tourism information system for Bima Regency using the Design Thinking method. The research stages include empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. Data were collected through interviews with the Bima Regency Tourism Office and 20 respondents, then analyzed using empathy maps, user personas, affinity diagrams, How Might We, site maps, user flows, and prototype design using Figma. The prototype was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 56 respondents. The resulting prototype includes destination, event, news, accommodation, detailed tourism information, and admin pages for managing tourism content. The SUS test produced an average score of 84.55, categorized as acceptable, grade B, and an excellent adjective rating. These results indicate that the UI/UX design has good usability and can be used as a reference for developing a tourism information system in Bima Regency.

Abstract

This study examines structural shifts and information density in the translation of Complex Noun Phrases (CNPs) from Indonesian into English in Sinta 2-accredited bilingual journal abstracts. Grounded in Catford's (1965) framework of structural shift and Halliday's (1985) lexical density formula as a measurement instrument for information density, the study addresses three research questions: (1) how CNPs are structurally restructured in Indonesian-English translation; (2) what linguistic mechanisms characterize those structural shifts; and (3) how structural shifts relate to information density in translated CNPs. A descriptive qualitative design was employed, with data consisting of 110 CNPs extracted from fifteen purposively selected bilingual abstracts across five Sinta 2 ELT and linguistics journals published between 2021 and 2026. Findings reveal that structural shifts occurred consistently across all fifteen abstracts, with four predominant mechanisms: modifier-head reordering (43.6%), modification pattern change (26.4%), constituent expansion or reduction (17.3%), and grammatical relation transformation (12.7%). Information density effects were variable: some shifts increased density by compressing meaning into compact English premodifier stacks, others preserved informational equivalence, and a smaller number reduced density when nominalized source-language concepts were merged into more general target-language expressions. These findings reveal a tension in academic translation between grammatical naturalness and conceptual precision, contributing to translation studies by integrating structural and functional perspectives on Indonesian-English academic translation.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged banking institutions, including rural banks, to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and digital service capacity. This study aims to analyze the implementation of information technology at PT. BPR BKK Muntilan (Perseroda) and its contribution to operational effectiveness, work process efficiency, and digital service productivity. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with six informants consisting of an operational director, an IT manager, two branch managers, and two operational staff, as well as documentation of internal transaction reports and IT-related documents. The findings show that the implementation of IBSBranchless Online supports faster transaction processing, easier customer data retrieval, more structured reporting, and reduced recording errors. The use of information technology also contributed to efficiency, as indicated by reduced data search time, paper usage, administrative costs, and transaction recording errors. Digital service productivity increased, as reflected in the rise of digital transactions from 45,179 records in 2022 to 134,068 records in 2025, with a peak of 145,771 records in 2024. However, the implementation still faces challenges, including limited IT infrastructure, insufficient employee training, and suboptimal system integration. This study recommends gradual infrastructure upgrades, continuous IT training, and API- or middleware-based system integration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Performance (E-Kinerja) implementation on the effectiveness of Personnel Information System (SIK) management in educational institutions across Muara Wahau District. The background of this research is driven by the growing demand for digital bureaucratic reform that emphasizes efficiency, transparency, and accountability in civil service performance management. The E-Performance system is expected to accelerate performance reporting, improve data accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making within an integrated personnel information framework. This study employs an associative quantitative approach using an explanatory survey method. The population consists of 120 employees, with a sample of 85 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R²), and t-test. The results show that all questionnaire items are valid (r > 0.30) and reliable (α > 0.70). The regression equation obtained is Y = 12.34 + 0.68X, with t-value = 9.48 > t-table = 1.99 and p = 0.000, indicating a positive and significant influence between E-Performance and SIK effectiveness. The R² value of 0.629 reveals that 63% of the variation in SIK effectiveness is explained by E-Performance implementation. These findings confirm that E-Performance contributes to enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in personnel management, emphasizing the need for continuous digital training and system integration improvement within educational institutions.

Abstract

— Improving the quality of academic services is a crucial indicator of educational quality assurance in vocational high schools. This study aims to examine the effects of the Academic Information System, Human Resource Competence, and Technology Support on Academic Service Quality, with Academic Process Effectiveness serving as an intervening variable. This research employed a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 50 respondents at SMK Negeri 4 Penajam Paser Utara. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the measurement model (outer model) evaluation indicate that all constructs meet the criteria for validity and reliability, as evidenced by Cronbach’s Alpha, Composite Reliability, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values exceeding the recommended thresholds. Furthermore, the structural model (inner model) evaluation reveals that Academic Process Effectiveness and Academic Service Quality demonstrate moderate explanatory power. The direct effect analysis shows that the Academic Information System and Technology Support have a significant effect on Academic Process Effectiveness, while Academic Process Effectiveness has a significant effect on Academic Service Quality. The mediation analysis indicates that Academic Process Effectiveness significantly mediates the relationship between the Academic Information System and Academic Service Quality. However, the mediating effects of Academic Process Effectiveness on the relationships between Human Resource Competence and Technology Support with Academic Service Quality are not statistically significant. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing academic information systems supported by effective academic processes to enhance the quality of academic services in vocational high schools.
