Abstract

This study presents the development of a web-based PPKPT Reporting and Case Management Information System using the Waterfall method at Harkat Negeri University. Violence in higher education settings is a serious issue, yet current reporting mechanisms rely solely on WhatsApp messages, failing to guarantee reporter identity confidentiality, structured case management, or independent case status tracking. The system was developed using the Waterfall SDLC model, the Laravel framework, and a MySQL database, modeled with UML. It features online reporting with identity confidentiality enforced through AdminAuth middleware authentication, a status-tracking mechanism using a unique code (PPKPT-YYYY-XXXXX), an admin dashboard, report management, and PDF export. Black Box Testing on 22 test cases produced a 100% pass rate, confirming all features function as specified. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with 20 respondents consisting of 3 PPKPT Team members, 1 lecturer, 1 administrative staff, and 15 students yielded an overall mean score of 4.51 (Very Good category), with no aspect scoring below 2.60. The system successfully integrates three core components in a single platform: reporting with identity access control protection, structured case management for the PPKPT Team, and independent status tracking for reporters — components mandated by Permendikbudristek No. 55 of 2024 that had not previously been integrated into any single system designed for a higher-education PPKPT context.

Abstract

Junian Jaya Motor Workshop still manages service schedules, customer data, transactions, and operational reports manually, resulting in overlapping schedules, potential data loss, and difficulties in preparing daily and monthly reports. This study aims to develop a web-based workshop information system that supports service booking, scheduling, transaction recording, payment status monitoring, and customer satisfaction evaluation through a questionnaire feature. This study employed the Research and Development method using the System Development Life Cycle waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, evaluation, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and a literature review. The system was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with XAMPP as the local server. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing with both valid and invalid input scenarios. The results showed that all 20 testing scenarios, consisting of 14 user-feature scenarios and six administrator-feature scenarios, produced the expected outputs and passed successfully. Features including registration, login, service booking, payment status checking, questionnaire submission, message delivery, input validation, and administrator data management functioned according to the specified requirements. Therefore, the developed system is functionally feasible to support more structured and efficient workshop service management while providing customer feedback for service evaluation.

Abstract

Pharmacy management in Blora Regency, Central Java, is dominated by manual systems such as stock recording in ledgers, causing inventory errors, transaction delays, and the risk of expired drugs. With 300 pharmacies serving 1 million people in rural areas, the problem is exacerbated by limited digital infrastructure and real-time BPOM-JKN regulatory requirements, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As many as 65% of pharmacies in Central Java are not yet computerized, resulting in 15-25% of stock wastage. This study aims to: (1) analyze the needs of pharmacy management information systems (SIM); (2) design and develop SIM based on UML and the DeLone-McLean model; (3) compare the satisfaction of respondents with existing SIM versus new SIM. The quantitative positivism approach involved 22 pharmacists who own pharmacies in Blora (systematic sampling), a 1-5 Likert questionnaire, observation, a 7-day prototype test, and SPSS 25 analysis (validity, reliability, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, paired t-test/Wilcoxon). Feature priorities included purchase/return reports (77.3%) and user access (77.3%). The post-test showed significant improvements: system quality (31.8%→86.4%), information (36.4%→81.8%), service (45.5%→86.4%), usage (50%→90%), satisfaction (45.5%→86.4%); temporary benefits decreased (45.4%→31.8%). The new SIM increases efficiency by 40-50%, accuracy by 95%, saves 50% of time, and supports compliance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 73/2016. Recommendations include training for the Health Office, BPJS integration, and AI stock prediction for rural replication.

Abstract

Stunting remains a persistent public health issue in rural Indonesia, driven not only by nutritional deficits but also by communication gaps and gendered dynamics in health information access. This study examines how gender influences information-seeking behaviour and how community-based health communication affects knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to stunting prevention. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from mothers of toddlers in a rural village. The findings reveal that exposure to health communication significantly affects knowledge and attitudes, which subsequently influence healthy practices. However, access to information is uneven and shaped by gender roles, social structures, and media exposure. This study proposes an integrated model combining social marketing, nudging strategies, and digital engagement to strengthen community-based interventions. The findings contribute to health communication literature by emphasising gender-sensitive approaches and offering practical implications for designing scalable communication interventions in low resource settings.

Abstract

Generation Z’s heavy use of social media increases their exposure to negative information, which can lead to psychological effects such as negative affect, unpleasant emotional experiences like anger, fear, anxiety, and low self-esteem. This condition is linked to the phenomenon of doomscrolling, the habit of continuously scrolling through negative content, as well as Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), the feeling of anxiety about being left out of others’ information or social experiences. This research aims to analyze the extent to which doomscrolling and FoMO predict negative affect among Generation Z social media users. This research employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling on 150 Generation Z individuals who are active social media users. The instruments used include the Doomscrolling Scale, the Online Fear of Missing Out (ON-FoMO) Scale, and the Negative Affect Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that doomscrolling and FoMO are simultaneously positive and significant predictors of negative affect, with an effective contribution of 19.5%. These findings suggest that repetitive negative information and digital social anxiety can increase negative affect among Generation Z.

Abstract

Students’ ability to solve inverse proportion problems remains low due to difficulties in understanding variable relationships, indicating differences in thinking processes related to cognitive styles and gender. This study aimed to analyze, compare, and evaluate students’ thinking processes in solving inverse proportion problems based on cognitive style and gender using an information-processing theoretical framework. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory design. The research subjects consisted of eight eighth-grade students selected purposively, representing Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) cognitive styles as well as male and female students. Data were collected through written mathematical problem-solving tests and in-depth interviews as the main research instruments. The data were analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis. The findings revealed that differences in students’ thinking processes were more strongly influenced by cognitive style than by gender, in line with the primary objective of the study. FI students tended to apply systematic and analytical strategies, were able to filter relevant information, and independently verify their answers, whereas FD students relied more on intuitive strategies, required more time to understand the problems, and were more dependent on external context. Overall, this study concludes that cognitive style is a key factor in determining the quality of students’ mathematical thinking processes. The implications of this study highlight the importance of early identification of students’ cognitive styles and the development of adaptive instructional models.

Abstract

The unemployment rate among generation Z in Indonesia is relatively high, especially in the 15-24 year old age group (16.42%) and 25 -29 year olds (3.08%), indicating significant challenges in entering the job market even though this generation is known to be adaptive to technology. Based on data from the Engineering Career Center (ECC), lack of career preparation education is one of the main causes, such as lack of self-confidence during interviews, difficulty recognizing one's potential, and lack of information about the world of work. On the other hand, TikTok is used by creators such as @vmuliana (Vina Muliana) to deliver career education content. This research aims to analyze the influence of exposure to the educational content of the TikTok @vmuliana account on fulfilling Generation Z's career preparation information needs among students at Ibnu Chaldun University, Jakarta. This quantitative research uses a non-probability sampling technique, purposive sampling, with 50 respondents who meet certain criteria. The t test results showed a positive and significant effect (p = 0.000 < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination of 61.1%. The findings support the S-O-R theory and media exposure theory, and confirm the potential of social media as an effective career education tool for the younger generation.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital pada industri konstruksi mendorong penerapan Building Information Modelling (BIM) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan pengendalian proyek konstruksi. Salah satu implementasi BIM yang berkembang adalah BIM 4D yang mengintegrasikan model tiga dimensi dengan penjadwalan proyek sehingga mampu menghasilkan visualisasi progres konstruksi secara terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan BIM 4D pada pekerjaan timbunan Main Dam Bendungan Meninting guna memperoleh quantity take off material dan visualisasi monitoring pelaksanaan konstruksi secara efektif. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Autodesk Revit untuk pemodelan tiga dimensi dan perhitungan volume material, serta Autodesk Navisworks Manage untuk simulasi visualisasi dan clash detection. Pemodelan dilakukan pada 24 segmen dengan 6 zona material, yaitu material inti, filter halus, filter kasar, random tanah, batuan, dan rip-rap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BIM mampu menghasilkan visualisasi progres konstruksi secara detail dan terintegrasi. Hasil quantity take off menunjukkan volume material inti sebesar 390.860,15 m³, filter halus 128.778,14 m³, filter kasar 196.208,98 m³, random tanah 2.211.039,73 m³, batuan 322.273,91 m³, dan rip-rap 104.405,00 m³ dengan total volume pekerjaan sebesar 3.353.565,91 m³. Selain itu, proses clash detection berhasil mengidentifikasi benturan antar komponen model sehingga dapat dilakukan perbaikan sebelum tahap konstruksi. Implementasi BIM 4D terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas monitoring proyek, mempermudah pengawasan progres pekerjaan, serta meminimalkan potensi keterlambatan proyek. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai acuan penerapan BIM 4D pada proyek bendungan dan infrastruktur skala besar lainnya guna mendukung pengelolaan proyek yang lebih efisien dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of the internal auditor’s role, risk management function, and operational risk management supervision on the performance of Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Sumatra region, with information technology integration serving as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, involving eight Regional Development Banks and 70 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings reveal that the internal auditor’s role and risk management function do not have a significant effect on bank performance. In contrast, operational risk management supervision has a positive and significant effect on performance. The moderation analysis indicates that information technology integration does not moderate the relationships between the internal auditor’s role and bank performance or between the risk management function and bank performance. However, information technology integration significantly strengthens the positive effect of operational risk management supervision on bank performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective operational supervision and the strategic integration of information technology in enhancing the performance of Regional Development Banks in the Sumatra region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of system quality and information quality on student satisfaction in using the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) application at Kupang State Polytechnic. This study was motivated by various obstacles in using the EMIS application, such as slow system access, disruptions during course registration (KRS), and inconsistencies and delays in updating academic information that affect the level of student satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with a random sampling method. The sample consisted of 175 respondents who were students of the Business Administration Department of Kupang State Polytechnic. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that system quality has a positive effect on student satisfaction, with a t-value of 3.207 and a significance level of 0.002 <0.05. Information quality also has a positive effect on student satisfaction, with a t-value of 7.328 and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously, system quality and information quality have a positive effect on student satisfaction, with an F value of 7.883 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.505 indicates that 50.5% of student satisfaction can be explained by system quality and information quality, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables outside this study. This study concludes that system quality and information quality are important factors in increasing student satisfaction with the use of the EMIS application. Therefore, system administrators are expected to improve system stability, access speed, data security, and the quality of academic information in real time to support effective and efficient digital-based academic services.
