Abstract

This research developed a Transformer-based Smart Academic Chatbot using the fine-tuning method to generate more accurate responses tailored to students' needs. The development process follows the Waterfall model, starting from the collection of academic question-answer data, pre-processing, architecture design, to implementation and testing. The evaluation results show that the chatbot is able to provide relevant answers with a good level of accuracy, as well as improve the ease of access to academic information. This system has the potential to be a smart solution in supporting the digital transformation of campus academic services.

Abstract

Kontrakan are a type of residential rental business often managed independently by property owners. The management process is frequently still done manually, such as recording tenant data, payment transactions, and room promotion, which risks data loss and recording errors. This research aims to design and implement a website-based boarding house management information system to assist owners in managing tenant data, payment transactions, recording and reporting expenses, and providing real-time information to prospective tenants. The system development method uses the waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is developed with the Laravel framework and the MySQL database. The implementation results show that this system can increase operational efficiency, simplify recording and reporting, and provide convenience for tenants to access information and transaction history independently.

Abstract

The advancement of science and technology has enhanced the efficiency of all forms of information communication. Using two-dimensional barcodes enables the linkage between the virtual realm and the physical world, with the QR code being the most prevalent type of two-dimensional barcode. Each year, there have been significant advancements in information technology. Asset items are present in each laboratory or room of a school in Bandung. Evidence gathered at this educational institution suggests that the administration of inventory data could be more efficient. The school administrators affirm that they continue to rely on human data entry. Moreover, manual data entry is considered inefficient, and data processing tends to be sluggish. The data in question refers to the information regarding the assets. The Asset Validation application is developed utilizing the SDLC (System et al.) methodology and UML (Unified et al.) for design. The utilized programming language is PHP, or Hypertext Preprocessor, in conjunction with a MySQL database. When the URL is executed in a web browser, the system provides a description of the URL, compares it with the database, and subsequently presents it in the web browser. The outcome of the Asset Validation application is a QR code utilized to store the URL, signifying the precision of the asset item. This study also conducted a performance comparison with three analogous apps. These three comparison programs were selected based on their similar visual QR code output, although their scanning outcomes differ due to distinct features.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the inventory system employed by a wholesaler located in Bandung and offer suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory management. The research methodology is a case study incorporating interviews and firsthand observation of the company's inventory system. The results suggest that the company still needs to practice any particular approach for overseeing its inventory, resulting in difficulties in calculating suitable inventory levels and a failure to use technology in inventory management. Hence, the author advises the wholesaler in Bandung to enhance the utilization of technology in managing their inventory and proposes adopting a buffer stock approach for inventory control.

Abstract

The findings of this study indicate that the combination of intrinsic motivation and compensation has a notable impact on the performance of employees in a fashion firm located in Bandung. Consequently, these two elements can enhance employee performance concurrently. However, more factors impact employee performance that should have been investigated in this study. Additional elements may encompass work discipline, leadership, job stress, competency, and organizational culture. Our research underscores the pivotal role of intrinsic motivation in boosting employee performance, surpassing the influence of compensation. Employees with a strong sense of intrinsic motivation, including job satisfaction, commitment to the organization, and a drive to succeed, consistently demonstrate superior performance. However, compensation continues to be a significant issue that affects employee performance. Employees who see the company's income, benefits, and incentives as equitable and commensurate with their workload are more likely to be motivated to perform at a higher level. The importance of equitable and competitive remuneration cannot be overstated, as it enhances employee well-being, potentially boosting productivity and job excellence. Ultimately, both internal motivation and financial rewards significantly impact employee performance. However, it's crucial for management to take the lead in prioritizing strategies that enhance employee intrinsic motivation. This can be achieved through proactive implementation of programs and policies that boost job satisfaction, foster devotion to the organization, and cultivate a strong drive to achieve. Regular evaluation and modification of compensation schemes to ensure equity and competitiveness are also essential. By focusing on these two factors, firms can achieve maximum staff performance, leading to enhanced overall productivity and success.

Abstract

The discourse surrounding the validity of public officials’ diplomas in cyberspace is frequently entangled in the criminalization of defamation offenses. There exists a profound ambiguity in law enforcement practices that fail to distinguish between criticizing the validity of an electronic document and intending to attack an individual’s personal honor. This blurred boundary generates concern among citizens who seek to exercise social control over the integrity of educational data, yet are instead confronted with the excessive penal threats of the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law. This study aims to deconstruct the juridical status of diplomas as electronic data within the framework of the ITE Law and the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law, and to examine the implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 104/2024 for the legal protection of individuals who verify public data within the digital ecosystem. Method: This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory and case approaches to analyze the ratio decidendi of the Constitutional Court. Results: The findings demonstrate that, from a telematics law perspective, a diploma constitutes a set of electronic information characterized as an object of information or a digital asset. Based on the latest Constitutional Court ruling, a clear distinction is established whereby the object of defamation is limited to human beings as legal subjects possessing dignity and honor, rather than objects or documents. Conclusion: Juridically, questioning the integrity of diploma data cannot automatically be classified as defamation. As long as the statement focuses on the authentication and verification of the document, such conduct forms part of freedom of expression and the exercise of social control protected by law

Abstract

The blind box phenomenon has created a complex digital conversation ecosystem on Platform X (formerly Twitter), where collector communities exchange information, unboxing experiences, and social validation. This study maps the digital conversation network structure of blind box collector communities on Platform X and traces product information diffusion patterns within it. Data were collected via the SocialX platform using the keywords “blind box” AND (“collector” OR “collection” OR “unboxing” OR “trading”), yielding 995 tweets from 716 unique accounts (January 15 to June 14, 2026), predominantly in English (77.8%) and Indonesian (11.3%). Five analytical methods were integrated: Social Network Analysis (SNA), Dynamic Network Analysis, Trend Analysis, Sentiment Analysis, and Text Network Analysis. The findings reveal a highly fragmented mention network divided into numerous small isolated clusters with content-resharing accounts (such as @youtube) and niche marketplace accounts (such as @chimpershq) emerging as the two dominant hubs. Dynamic network analysis confirmed that both hubs persisted consistently over time, indicating centralized information diffusion concentrated among a small number of actors. Trend analysis identified 11 conversation spikes concentrated in January to February 2026, followed by a significant decline in March to April, before recovering in June 2026. Sentiment analysis showed that community conversations were dominated by positive sentiment (42.71%), followed by neutral (37.59%) and negative (19.70%). Text network analysis revealed that unboxing, collection, series, and secret were the central concepts organizing community discourse. These findings contribute empirically to understanding how niche collector communities form and disseminate information on social media, while offering practical implications for digital marketing strategies targeting collectible product communities.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a strategic sector that plays a crucial role in driving economic growth and equitable income distribution. Amidst the development of digital technology, MSMEs are required to adopt various technological innovations to improve their business performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of Accounting Information Systems, Influencer Marketing, E-Commerce, and Financial Technology on the performance of MSMEs in Surakarta City. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 MSMEs in the Food and Beverages (FnB) sector selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that E-Commerce and Financial Technology have a positive and significant impact on MSME performance, while Accounting Information Systems and Influencer Marketing have no significant impact on MSME performance. These findings indicate that the use of digital sales platforms and financial technology plays a greater role in improving MSME performance than the use of accounting information systems and influencer-based marketing strategies. This research is expected to provide consideration for MSMEs and local governments in formulating digital technology-based MSME development policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) application in supporting the preparation of Local Government Financial Reports (LKPD) in Aceh Tamiang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results show that SIPD has been effectively used in integrated regional financial management, as evidenced by the achievement of an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) Opinion from the Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia (BPK-RI) for three consecutive years (2022–2024). However, technical and human resource constraints still need to be optimized. SIPD effectiveness is supported by government commitment, system integration, and human resource capacity building. This study recommends enhancing technical training and continuous assistance for regional financial management officials.

Abstract

Psychological adjustment during pregnancy plays a vital role in maintaining maternal mental health and supporting fetal well-being. This study developed and evaluated Smart Mother, a smartphone based application designed for early detection and management of stress among pregnant women. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and tested through a randomized controlled trial following CONSORT guidelines. A pretest–posttest design was conducted with 120 pregnant women randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = 60) and a control group (n = 60) from March to October 2023. The intervention group utilized the Smart Mother application, which integrates stress screening and self management features, while the control group received conventional printed educational materials. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Mann–Whitney U-test, and multivariate analysis showed a significantly greater reduction in stress scores in the intervention group compared with the control group (7.19 ± 5.8 vs. 5.87 ± 4.2; p< 0.01). Evaluation based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) demonstrated high usability, with an average score of 4.26 (85.2%). These findings suggest that Smart Mother is an effective digital tool for improving stress monitoring and management during pregnancy and supports more comprehensive antenatal mental health care.
