Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is an important factor in maternal and infant health, but its success rate in Indonesia, including in Semarang, is still low. One of the factors that influences the success of exclusive breastfeeding is the source of information and the attitude of breastfeeding mothers. Purpose: To analyze the relationship between information sources and the attitudes of breastfeeding mothers in the success of exclusive breastfeeding at PMB Bdn. Tri Utami Sari, S.SiT using a quantitative research approach. Method: A quantitative study with a cross-sectional design was conducted on 51 breastfeeding mothers at PMB Bdn. Tri Utami Sari, S.SiT. Data were collected through questionnaires to identify information sources and maternal attitudes, analyzed using the Spearman Rho test. Result: The majority of mothers (82.4%) exhibited a positive attitude toward exclusive breastfeeding, with the primary information source being healthcare providers (23.5%). Statistical analysis revealed a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.388) that was statistically significant (p = 0.005) between information sources and maternal attitudes. Healthcare providers and mass media supported positive attitudes, while family influence tended to correlate with negative attitudes. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between information sources and the attitudes of breastfeeding mothers, where information from healthcare providers enhances positive attitudes toward the success of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Recreational tourism destinations depend not only on natural attractions but also on the availability of supporting facilities that ensure effective information delivery, visitor safety, and comfort. One such facility is the information board, which serves as a visual medium for communicating essential messages to visitors. At Marisa Beach, existing information boards are limited, largely monolingual, and not systematically designed to meet diverse visitor needs. This study aims to develop bilingual information boards to support recreational tourism at Marisa Beach. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the Borg and Gall model, encompassing needs analysis, product planning, prototype development, expert validation, revision, and field testing. The resulting product consists of bilingual information boards in Indonesian and English containing site regulations, safety information, directional guidance, and brief descriptions of the destination. Expert validation results indicate that the product is appropriate for use after minor revisions, while field testing shows that the boards are readable, easy to understand, and positively received by visitors. These findings indicate that bilingual information boards enhance information accessibility and contribute to a more inclusive and well-organized recreational tourism environment. Consequently, the development of bilingual information boards is essential for improving tourism information services and supporting sustainable destination management at Marisa Beach.

Abstract

RSUD dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin, the number of patient referrals received through SISRUTE at Unit 119 has been operational since August 1, 2024, as part of strengthening digital-based emergency services. The utilization of SISRUTE, which is integrated with the Electronic Medical Record (ERM) system, supports the rapid and accurate exchange of clinical patient information. Based on data from August 1, 2024, to the end of December 2025, a total of 459 patients were referred through SISRUTE, where the referral data was documented in the ERM and used as a basis for the continuity of medical services at the receiving healthcare facility. These data indicate that the utilization of SISRUTE plays a vital role in supporting the smooth process of emergency patient referrals and enhancing coordination and service efficiency between healthcare facilities. This study is a qualitative research. Qualitative research in this study was used to identify the factors behind the return of medical record files based on the 5M framework (Man, Machine, Method, Material, and Money). According to Sugiyono (2018), qualitative research methods are used to examine natural object conditions, where the researcher serves as the key instrument, data collection techniques are carried out through triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive, and the results emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The results of this study indicate that the Integrated Referral Information System (SISRUTE) has been implemented. SISRUTE is an information technology and internet-based health referral information system application designed to integrate and simplify the patient referral process between healthcare facilities, from primary levels (e.g., community health centers/clinics) to vertical hospitals or higher healthcare facilities online. The objective is to ensure that referrals are carried out quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently according to the patient's medical needs and the competence of the destination facility.

Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into higher education and professional environments has transformed the role of English from a traditional academic subject into a critical competency for technology-driven careers. This study aimed to identify the English language needs of Information Systems students for future careers in the AI era. Employing a quantitative descriptive survey design, data were collected from 80 undergraduate Information Systems students at a private higher education institution in South Jakarta, Indonesia. A structured questionnaire was used to examine students’ perceived needs in four areas: speaking skills, writing skills, reading skills, and AI-related English skills. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations. The findings revealed that all four competencies were perceived as important for future professional development. However, AI-related English skills emerged as the highest-ranked competency (M = 4.56), followed by speaking skills (M = 4.45), writing skills (M = 4.28), and reading skills (M = 4.10). The results suggest that students increasingly view English as an essential tool for interacting with AI technologies, accessing global knowledge, and participating in digital workplaces. The study highlights the need for English language curricula in Information Systems programs to incorporate AI-assisted communication and technology-oriented professional language skills to better prepare graduates for the evolving demands of the AI era.

Abstract

The increasing digital transformation of educational institutions has intensified the need for integrated school information systems that extend beyond administrative automation to support evidence-based curriculum management. Despite the widespread adoption of digital technologies in schools, most existing information systems operate in isolated functional domains, resulting in fragmented management of teacher, student, academic, and alumni data. This fragmentation constrains the availability of comprehensive and timely information required for curriculum planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Grounded in the principles of Educational Management Information Systems (EMIS) and data-driven decision-making, this study aimed to develop and evaluate an integrated Teacher, Student, and Alumni Information System (SIGANSA) to strengthen curriculum management through centralized and real-time educational data. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the Four-D (4D) model, comprising the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate phases. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, while the system was evaluated by 80 teachers and educational staff to assess its practicality and feasibility. The developed system successfully integrates teacher administration, student records, academic management, and alumni tracer study data within a unified web-based platform, enabling comprehensive educational data management across multiple administrative functions. Evaluation results demonstrated a practicality score of 93.45% and a feasibility score of 97.92%, indicating that the system is highly practical and highly feasible for institutional implementation. Beyond demonstrating successful system development, this study contributes empirical evidence that integrating multi-dimensional educational data into a unified information system enhances the capacity of schools to implement data-driven curriculum management, thereby supporting more informed curriculum planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. These findings underscore the strategic role of integrated educational information systems in advancing digital transformation, strengthening institutional governance, and improving curriculum management practices in secondary education.

Abstract

Objective: The study aims to examine the implementation and development of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta and identify factors influencing AIS adoption to support sustainable economic growth aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8. Method: The research employed a qualitative approach using a multi-case study method involving three MSMEs representing micro, small, and medium business categories. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification.  Results:  The findings reveal differences in AIS implementation among MSMEs based on business scale and organizational resources. Micro businesses still rely on manual accounting systems due to limited financial resources, inadequate human resource competencies, and insufficient technological infrastructure. Small businesses have adopted digital AIS through external software providers, while medium businesses have developed integrated AIS using internal developers. AIS implementation provides benefits including improved financial information accuracy, operational efficiency, internal control, and strategic decision-making capabilities.  Novelty: The study contributes empirical evidence regarding the different stages of AIS adoption among MSMEs and highlights the importance of aligning technological capability, financial readiness, and human resource development to achieve sustainable digital transformation. The findings support SDG 8 by strengthening MSME competitiveness and promoting inclusive economic growth through technology-based management systems.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology in the twenty-first century has repositioned Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competence as a core professional requirement for teachers rather than a supplementary skill. In the Indonesian context, the shift toward the Merdeka Curriculum, blended learning, and digital-based assessment has exposed a persistent gap between policy expectations and the actual technological readiness of educators, particularly in madrasah and Islamic higher education environments where infrastructural and pedagogical constraints remain considerable. This urgency is compounded by findings indicating that a substantial proportion of teachers are still not fully prepared to adapt to digital literacy demands, despite continuous government-led training initiatives. This article aims to examine the strategic dimensions through which ICT competence can be systematically improved among teachers, and to analyze how such strategies respond to the growing expectation that educators become technologically literate professionals. The study employs a qualitative library research (studi pustaka) design, drawing on peer-reviewed journal articles, institutional reports, and policy documents published within the last seven years, analyzed through content and thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal that effective ICT competence enhancement rests on three interrelated strategies: structured and sustainable professional development programs, the integration of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) into everyday pedagogical practice, and institutional policy support accompanied by adequate digital infrastructure. The study concludes that technology-literate teachers emerge not merely from individual initiative but from a systemic convergence of training, pedagogical reorientation, and institutional facilitation. These findings contribute to the theoretical discourse on teacher digital competence and offer practical implications for Islamic education institutions seeking to accelerate their digital transformation agenda
