Abstract

Digital transformation through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into Management Information Systems (MIS) has become an urgent need for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The MSME sector in Indonesia plays a vital role in the national economy but faces significant challenges, including limited access to capital and technology. This study aims to develop an effective AI integration strategy to improve MSME operational efficiency. Using a mixed-methods approach combining exploratory and descriptive designs, this study involved 30 MSMEs from various sectors selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and direct observation, and then analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and thematic analysis. The results reveal a paradox: 85% of MSMEs show strong enthusiasm for AI technology while simultaneously facing implementation barriers. A significant gap exists between infrastructure readiness (40%) and human resource readiness (25%). Five critical success factors were identified: human resource readiness (35%), technology infrastructure (25%), financial support (20%), management commitment (15%), and the digital ecosystem (5%). MSMEs that successfully implemented AI achieved operational efficiency improvements of up to 30% and ROI within 12–18 months. This study produced the "MSME-AI Integration Framework" as a practical guide for phased implementation. Strategic recommendations include a phased implementation approach, ongoing digital training programs, government support, and partnerships with technology providers for affordable AI solutions.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) services are essential in enhancing the efficiency of administrative and learning processes in schools. However, many public junior high schools still manage IT services manually, without clear documentation or standard operating procedures, which leads to delayed responses, system unreliability, and low user satisfaction. This study aims to improve the effectiveness of IT service management at SMPN 7 IT Manggelewa through the implementation of a simplified model based on the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Service Operation framework. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with an evaluative and model development orientation, data were collected through observations, interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires involving school stakeholders. The findings reveal major gaps between current practices and ITIL standards across five key processes: Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, Problem Management, and Event Management. As a result, a contextualized ITIL-based model was developed, including SOPs, service request forms, access control procedures, a root-cause analysis template, and manual monitoring tools. The model was validated through a focus group discussion and revised for school-level applicability. This study concludes that the application of a school-adapted ITIL model improves service responsiveness, documentation practices, and stakeholder accountability in managing IT services.

Abstract

Kata kunci: waste material, besi tulangan, minimalisasi, waste cost       Abstract   Construction projects often generate waste material, which refers to leftover materials that cannot be reused without additional processing. Among various materials used, reinforcing steel (rebar) often produces a significant amount of waste due to design changes, planning errors, and suboptimal cutting processes. To minimize this waste, rebar usage is optimized through modeling in Autodesk Revit to produce a rebar schedule, which is then processed using Cutting Optimization Pro to determine the most efficient cutting pattern. This study focuses on the Substructure Work of Bridge No. 8 in the Patimban Access Toll Road Project Package 1. The results show that waste material can be reduced to 3.55%, with waste percentages of 0% for D13, 0.46% for D16, 1.01% for D19, and 2.08% for D32. The total waste cost reached Rp138,364,599.96, with D32 contributing the highest cost. Waste management was carried out through recycling and salvage strategies to support efficiency and construction sustainability.   Keywords: waste material, reinforcing steel, minimization, waste cost

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in the construction industry has increased the need for more effective and efficient project management systems. One of the technologies currently widely implemented in the construction sector is Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital-based modeling method capable of integrating all project information into a single system. This study aims to analyze the effect of BIM implementation on the efficiency of planning and execution of construction projects in Indonesia's civil engineering sector. The research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory survey method. The study population consisted of construction professionals experienced in BIM implementation, while purposive sampling was used to select 150 respondents from contractors, consultants, supervisors, and government agencies. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results revealed that BIM implementation had a positive and significant effect on construction project efficiency, with a path coefficient value of 0.827, a t-statistic value of 18.546, and a p-value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.684 indicates that BIM implementation explains 68.4% of the variance in project efficiency. BIM implementation was proven to improve stakeholder coordination, reduce rework, increase cost estimation accuracy, and enhance project schedule control. Therefore, BIM implementation should continue to be strengthened through improving human resource competencies, government policy support, and integrating BIM education into civil engineering curricula to support the digital transformation of Indonesia's construction industry

Abstract

Land degradation is a major environmental issue that reduces soil productivity and impairs ecological functions. Kalibeluk Village, Batang Regency, has diverse biophysical characteristics that may result in varying levels of land degradation. This study assessed land degradation potential and the corresponding degradation status in Kalibeluk Village, using GIS-based spatial analysis supported by field verification and laboratory assessment. Spatial analysis was conducted using soil type, slope gradient, rainfall, and land use parameters through an overlay technique to determine land degradation potential. Field verification and laboratory analyses were subsequently performed for each Land Mapping Unit (LMU) to evaluate land degradation status based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 150 of 2000 and Regulation of the State Minister of Environment Number 07 of 2006. The results classified land degradation potential into three categories: low (71.481 ha; 39.8%), moderate (104.167 ha; 57.9%), and high (4.137 ha; 2.3%). Evaluation of land degradation status indicated that LMUs with low and moderate degradation potential were categorized as Slightly Degraded (R.I), whereas LMUs with high degradation potential were categorized as Moderately Degraded (R.II). The main limiting factors were soil fraction composition, water permeability, redox conditions, and surface rockiness. The findings demonstrate that GIS is an effective tool for identifying land degradation levels and supporting land management planning. Recommended rehabilitation measures include agroforestry, cover crops, terracing, the application of organic matter and soil amendments, and conservation drainage systems to improve soil quality and reduce land degradation risks sustainably.
