Abstract

Digital transformation in radiology management is urgently needed to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with medical data retention standards. However, many type C and D hospitals in Indonesia still rely on paper- and film-based workflows because commercial Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions are costly. This research aimed to design, develop, and evaluate an integrated Radiology Information System (RIS) based on the open-source Orthanc PACS at Ilyas Tarakan Naval Hospital, a type D hospital, to address radiology data fragmentation, limited Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) storage on modality consoles, and paper-based reporting workflows. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model, consisting of a preliminary study, system development, expert validation through black-box testing, and limited pilot testing using a pre-test/post-test design involving ten respondents. The RIS was developed using Laravel and Bootstrap and integrated with Orthanc PACS through a Modality Worklist (MWL) mechanism. System performance was analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and Mann–Whitney statistical tests. Expert validation showed 100% validity across functionality, performance, user interface, security, compatibility, error handling, and usability aspects, while the integration aspect could not be evaluated due to hospital policy constraints. Pilot testing demonstrated a significant improvement in usability across all seven measured dimensions, with a Mann–Whitney test result of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The Orthanc-based RIS-PACS provided an effective and low-cost model for digitizing radiology services in budget-constrained type D hospitals and is recommended for gradual integration with the hospital information system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Flight Information Display System (FIDS) facilities on passenger satisfaction, measure the magnitude of the effect of FIDS facilities on passenger satisfaction, and analyze the differences in the effect of FIDS facilities on passenger satisfaction between the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. The study was motivated by the important role of FIDS in providing accurate, timely, and easy-to-understand flight information. The different characteristics of domestic and international passengers are expected to result in different effects of FIDS on passenger satisfaction. This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive-associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 400 respondents, consisting of 200 passengers from the Domestic Terminal and 200 passengers from the International Terminal. The data were analyzed using classical assumption tests, simple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-test), the coefficient of determination (R²), and the Chow Test. The results indicate that the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) has a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction in both the Domestic and International Terminals, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that FIDS explains 74.5% of passenger satisfaction in the Domestic Terminal and 72.8% in the International Terminal. Furthermore, the Chow Test result shows that the calculated F-value of 5.71 is higher than the F-table value of 3.02 (5.71 > 3.02), indicating a significant difference in the effect of FIDS on passenger satisfaction between the Domestic and International Terminals. Therefore, the quality of the Flight Information Display System plays an important role in improving passenger satisfaction, with a greater influence in the Domestic Terminal than in the International Terminal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PET Can packaging and the perceived shelf-life information of preservative-free products on domestic consumers' purchase intention for Rujak Ambu instant seasoning. Rujak Ambu, a women-empowerment-based MSME, faces challenges in expanding its domestic market due to an overstock of export packaging (PET Cans). This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 97 respondents comprising current and potential consumers of Rujak Ambu. Data analysis included classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that: (1) Partially, the physical innovation of PET Can packaging does not have a significant effect on domestic consumers' purchase intention (Sig. 0.232). (2) Partially, the perceived shelf-life information of preservative-free products has a positive and highly significant effect on consumers' purchase intention (Sig. 0.000). (3) Simultaneously, PET Can packaging and the perceived shelf-life information of preservative-free products significantly influence purchase intention with a contribution (R Square) of 65.9%. These findings conclude that for traditional food products like rujak seasoning, premium packaging innovation must be integrated with educational label communication regarding shelf-life transparency and product safety to optimally boost purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The implementation of the Integrated Fisheries Services Information System (SILANGIT) at the Tegal Fisheries Training and Extension Center (BPPP) aims to promote the digitization of fisheries training and certification registration. However, users’ utilization of the system has not yet been optimal and continues to face technical and operational challenges. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Behavioral Intention and Actual Use Behavior of the SILANGIT application by integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework and the DeLone & McLean Information Systems Success Model. This quantitative study employed Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. The sample comprised 386 respondents selected via Proportional Stratified Random Sampling based on the Slovin formula and statistical power thresholds. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that all direct hypotheses have a positive and significant effect ( ). Social Influence is the most dominant predictor of Behavioral Intention, followed by Effort Expectancy, Information Quality, System Quality, and Performance Expectancy. These five variables collectively explain the variance in Behavioral Intention. Furthermore, Behavioral Intention and Facilitating Conditions were found to have a strong direct effect on Use Behavior. Through Priority Index analysis, active feature exploration was identified as the primary operational gap. The practical implications of this study recommend improving the PTSP Helpdesk services, optimizing the application to make it lighter and more data-efficient, and conducting edutainment-based outreach to encourage optimal and sustainable system usage.

Abstract

Hospital Information Management System (SIMRS) is crucial for speeding up healthcare services and integrating medical data. This study aimed to determine the relationship between SIMRS quality (system quality, information quality, and service quality) and waiting time and patient satisfaction in the outpatient department of RSUD Lembang. This quantitative study employed an analytic cross-sectional design involving 96 outpatients. Data were collected using questionnaires and direct observations of waiting times and were analyzed using Chi-square and Poisson regression analyses. The results showed that most patients experienced waiting times of less than 60 minutes (59.4%) and were satisfied with the hospital services (51.0%), although the information quality and service quality of SIMRS were still rated as poor by most participants. The statistical analyses showed that all dimensions of SIMRS quality were significantly associated with waiting time and patient satisfaction (p < 0.001). Staff service quality in operating the system was the main factor associated with shorter patient waiting times (PR = 2.67). Meanwhile, the technical stability of the computer system was the strongest factor associated with patient satisfaction (PR = 4.90). The study concludes that stable information technology system performance and responsive staff contribute to reducing waiting times and improving patient satisfaction. Hospitals are recommended to integrate computer systems across all service units and provide digital training for staff.
