Abstract

The Balikpapan Population and Civil Registration Office has implemented service automation by using an information system to support the population and civil registration administration services in Balikpapan, Indonesia. The information system implemented is called The Population Administration Information System (SIAK). The office has previously implemented an information system similar to SIAK, namely the Population Administration Organizing System (SPAK). One of the office aims is to improve the quality of SIAK. SIAK quality is improved in order to achieve optimal service. As a step of achieving vision and mission, implementing work functions and optimizing the utilization of information systems, the comparison of information system performance between information systems that have been used with information systems that have previously been used. The guidelines used in assessing the performance of both systems are Information System Functional Scorecard (ISFS) theory. The data collected by questionnaires then conducted Paired-T Test so that the results of the two systems were obtained differences and can be compared to know which system is superior. SIAK is an information system that is declared superior to SPAK. Furthermore, the comparison results become a reference in providing recommendations for SIAK performance improvement based on the performance comparison results with SPAK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the information quality and source credibility affect the use and the process of information adoption, especially among upper secondary school students as Twitter users who are prone to hoaxes and fake news. Research subject and method: The stratified sample was 100 upper secondary school students in Surabaya who used Twitter and had read or followed threads. The respondents were asked questions to test their dependence on Twitter and their social media behaviour that affected the information adoption process. Information quality has a significant effect on usability, in contrast to source credibility which does not affect the usefulness of information; however, these two dependent variables have a strong relationship which intervenes in the information adoption process among upper secondary school students.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the importance of the role of technology in the form of information systems in an educational service institution by using an information system application that is used by the academic community on a daily basis. The purpose of this study is to analyze post-usage usefulness and facilitating conditions through or not through satisfaction to achieve continuance intention related to Administrative Information Systems (SIA) at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta. This study uses a modification of the Extended Information Technology Continuance (ITC). This study uses AMOS 22 path analysis and a total sample of 343 students in accounting and management programs. The results showed that all hypotheses were accepted except for the direct effect of facilitating conditions toward continuance intention. These results strengthen the impact of satisfaction on continuance intention regarding the practice of using technology. The implication of the results indicates that the use of available information system applications, although satisfactory, must still be monitored and developed in order to ensure continued user satisfaction.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many governments require companies to promote a work from home policy. However, many occupations cannot be done at home, putting the employees at increased health risk and increasing job stress. The purpose of this study is to examine whether job stress negatively affects job performance. Furthermore, we also examine the moderating effect of Covid-19 information on the relationship between job stress and job performance. Our respondents are employees who work in manufacturing firms in Salatiga and still have to work from the office during the pandemic. The data were collected using an online questionnaire, and the total number of respondents is 105. Our analysis using moderated regression analysis founds that job stress negatively influences job performance. We also found that Covid-19 information moderates the relationship between job stress and job performance.

Abstract

Treatment for outpatient installations (IRJA) NTB provincial hospitals have used hospital management information systems, but this is still not effective. The information system is not effective because registration centred in the main hall. The centralized registration caused the accumulation of patient queues that occurred in each IRJA polyclinic, and this was due to the absence of an integrated queue number between registrations carried out in the main hall and IRJA polyclinics. Therefore, the governance of information architecture processes needs to be applied to optimize information systems. We use COBIT 4.1 to conduct governance. The aim is to get existing and expected outpatients from Prov. NTB Hospital. So, it can help to manage information architecture to perform quality and competitive outpatient services. The results showed the IT processes selected in PO2 (Determine Information Architecture) and AI4 (Activate and Use). We reach the maturity level of all IT processes at level 3 (the specified process) for conditions as they are and 5 (optimized) for conditions that will occur. The level of maturity can help the NTB Provincial Hospital to improve its services.

Abstract

Large and complex computer networks have a high risk of failure, so they require monitoring and mapping to maintain service availability. An information system must monitor and map computer networks so that supervision is not done manually and problem handlings can be done quicker. This study aims to design and implement a computer network monitoring-information system at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Kebumen Regency by utilizing the waterfall software development method. UML modelling language used in the design of computer network monitoring information system and implemented with the JavaScript programming language on Node.js runtime environment. This system utilizes the interval function in JavaScript and the system utility from Node.js to check the network devices. This system sends notifications of the network client status changes to registered users. Based on the test results, this system can monitor and provide notifications as well as a map of the computer network belonging to the Kebumen Regional Government, which is managed by the Department of Communication and Information Technology of Kebumen so that the process of handling computer network problems belonging to the Kebumen Regional Government can be carried out more optimally.

Abstract

Information Capital Readliness (ICR) is one of bound performance in technology and information sector at PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali Unit Pembangkit Gresik which is functioned in supporting company’s strategy. Information security is an important thing of ICR’s performance, because the information resulted must have confidentially, integrity, and availability to support the business process. In ICR, there is assessment of bound performance which supports directness of the business process.Nowadays, ICR cannot fulfill the requirements of bound performance yet because there is no good processing yet in planning information security. A solution to figure out that issue is making a good management in planning information security management system or SMKI based on standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005 which will result management in planning information security of ICR. Scope of the information security management system  in the ICR include infrastructure and application. The result of this planning information security management system can be concluded into document of planning information security management system which contains risk assessment report with server’s high value of risk level is 35.52 and asset fyber optic cable’s low value of risk level is 11.2, policy, procedure, work instruction and other related documents. Those documents are used in handling planning process of ICR’s information security, so the requirements of bound performance can be fulfilled.
