Abstract

Information Capital Readliness (ICR) is one of bound performance in technology and information sector at PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali Unit Pembangkit Gresik which is functioned in supporting company’s strategy. Information security is an important thing of ICR’s performance, because the information resulted must have confidentially, integrity, and availability to support the business process. In ICR, there is assessment of bound performance which supports directness of the business process.Nowadays, ICR cannot fulfill the requirements of bound performance yet because there is no good processing yet in planning information security. A solution to figure out that issue is making a good management in planning information security management system or SMKI based on standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005 which will result management in planning information security of ICR. Scope of the information security management system  in the ICR include infrastructure and application.The result of this planning information security management system can be concluded into document of planning information security management system which contains risk assessment report with server’s high value of risk level is 35.52 and asset fyber optic cable’s low value of risk level is 11.2, policy, procedure, work instruction and other related documents. Those documents are used in handling planning process of ICR’s information security, so the requirements of bound performance can be fulfilled.

Abstract

This study aims to explain personal technical skills, education and training, as well as the sophistication of information technology on accounting information systems. In this study, research uses a quantitative approach because the analysis is based on existing theories and is related to the research topic. The theory used by researchers is the theory of personal engineering skills, education and training, information technology sophistication. The sample used was 51 people who were determined by the saturated sample method. The data technique used was a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that (1) the variable, personal engineering skills had a positive and significant effect on the accounting information system (2) Education and training had a positive and significant impact on the accounting information system (3) the sophistication of information technology had a positive and significant effect on the accounting information system. Companies should pay attention to the skills of personal engineering, education and training, as well as the sophistication of information technology to improve accounting information systems (4) the ability of personal engineering, education and training, as well as sophisticated technology simultaneously to accounting information systems

Abstract

Early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) is one way that can be done to reduce the risk of post partum bleeding in the mother and reduce infection after delivery. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of providing verbal information and video presentation on the knowledge and attitude of pregnant women about early breastfeeding initiation based on age, education level, knowledge, attitude, at Royal Prima Medan General Hospital. Type of research used is the Quasi Experiment, Pretest and Post Test Controlled Trial. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample size of 50 people. The conclusion from the results of the analysis using Wilcoxon, there is an effect of giving verbal and video information on the level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers about IMD with a p value of 0.00 <α 0.05. Based on the results of the regression test, there was no difference in the effectiveness of verbal information and presentation using video on the level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers about IMD with a significance value = 0.21 and p (0.21).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the ease of work plan and budget information systems on improving the quality of development human resources, the influence of satisfaction with the use of work plan information systems and budgets on improving the quality of development human resources, and the effect of application, ease and satisfaction of using work plan information systems and budget simultaneously to improve the quality of Human Resources Development. The research method used is quantitative method with data collection techniques by literature study, observation, and interviews and is supported by data collection tools, namely interview guidelines and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the application of information systems has a positive and significant impact on the quality of human resources development at USU Medan; The ease of using the information system has a positive and significant impact on the quality of human resources development at USU Medan; Information system user satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on the quality of human resources development at USU Medan; and the application of information systems, ease of use of information systems and satisfaction of information system users together have a positive and significant impact on the development of the quality of human resources in the development of USU Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem dan kegunaan terhadap kinerja melalui keberhasilan HRIS di PT. Bank Ganesha Tbk. Pengujian hipotesis da-lam penelitian ini menggunakan metode SEM yang didukung oleh aplikasi SPSS 21 dan AMOS 22. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 variabel independen dengan variabel intervening keberhasilan HRIS dan variabel dependen kinerja. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 135 pegawai Bank Ganesha. Karakteristik sampel yang ditentukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pegawai tetap, telah bekerja minimal 1 tahun dan menggunakan BIPO HRMS. Berdasarkan hasil penyaringan responden yang telah dilakukan, ditetapkan bahwa hanya 129 dari 135 responden yang memenuhi syarat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kualitas Informasi ber-pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Keberhasilan HRIS, 2) Sistem Kualitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap Keberhasilan HRIS, 3) Kegunaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keberhasilan HRIS, 4) Keber-hasilan HRIS tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, 5) Kualitas Informasi berpengaruh negatif signifikan ter-hadap kinerja melalui Keberhasilan HRIS, 6) Kualitas Sistem menghasilkan berpengaruh positif signifikan langsung terhadap kinerja, 7) Kegunaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui HRIS Suc-cess.

Abstract

Information literacy in this post-truth era is an important thing that must be understood by the Indonesian society in dealing with the truth and lies of the information obtained. This paper examines through a literature approach about the conception of information literacy in the post-truth era and what strategies must be understood by the information community in Indonesia in dealing with the spread of fake news from various media. This study concludes that critical thinking is an important part of information literacy that must be understood by Indonesian people to face the dynamics of information in the post-truth era. Critical information literacy can help our ability to search, find and use quality information. Thus, the strategy that must be carried out in dealing with the dissemination of information in the post-truth era is to identify the source, check the author, read the entire contents, check the novelty of the writing, check the balance of the information, the authenticity of the information, and always ask the experts when checking the web source.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variable dukungan top management dan kemampuan tehnik personal Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) terhadap kepuasan pengguna Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) pada Bank Syariah Indonesia Cabang Palu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kantor cabang operasional bank syariah Indonesia yang ada dikota palu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang pekerjaanya berkaitan langsung dengan penggunaan SIA pada kantor cabang yang menjadi subjek dari penelitian ini. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling, dengan sampel yang jumlah 45 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian serta analisis regresi linear berganda sebagai uji statistik pengolahan data. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dukungan top management, kemampuan tehnik personal SIA, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna secara simultan. Dukungan top management dan pelatihan pengguna SIA berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna SIA secara parsial. Berdasarkan nilai R Square, kepuasan pengguna SIA tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel dukungan top management, dan kemampuan tehnik personal SIA, tapi juga dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini, sehingga diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya dapat menambah variabel-variabel lain yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pengguna SIA selain yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Information modeling a very important role in the development of information systems today. Information modeling is an activity to create a conceptual model that includes all significant information in business processes. Using information modeling, a machine is needed for implementation, and redundancy and anomaly problems are also common in databases. This problem arises when the database is not normalized. To solve the problem, this research will analyze the SME information system using the Fully Communication Oriented Information Modeling  (FCO-IM) method and compare it with the method without FCO-IM made by 12 designers. The results of the analysis, information modeling using FCO-IM method can produce a relational data schema that already meets 3NF normalization and is suitable for implementation in SME information system development so that it can be used as an option in data modeling and can avoid data redundancy problems.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of information technology and computer skills on accounting information systems at PT Bumi Jawa Kayana. The method used in this research is the descriptive and correlation method. The data used in this research is primary data from distributing questionnaires to 32 respondents. The sample selection used the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used multiple regression statistical techniques, which were processed using SPSS 20.0 software. The results prove that the information technology variable significantly affects the accounting information system at PT Bumi Jawa Kayana. Likewise, the variable of computer skills has a significant effect on the accounting information system at PT Bumi Jawa Kayana. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0.631 or 63.1%. Accounting Information Systems can be explained by the Information Technology and Computer Skills variables. At the same time, the remaining 36.9% of Accounting Information System variables can be explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Banco Nasional de Comércio de Timor-Leste currently has the largest network and clients in the country of Timor-Leste with 13 branches in each region. System that can meet banking needs, both for internal management for the benefit of its customers in form of a reliable accounting information system. Performance is main goal for banks so that their life or operations can run. Research on factors that affect employee performance as seen from the actual behavior of employees related to the use of AIS needs to be done. This research aims to determine the effect of accounting information systems, user intentions of information accounting systems and job satisfaction on employee performance. Object of this research is 154 employees of BNCTL. The analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis with t test to test the hypothesis. Based on analysis, it is known that accounting information system and job satisfaction have an effect on the performance of BNCTL employees, while intention of users has no effect on the performance of BNCTL employees.
