Zakat Management Information System: E-Service Quality and Its Impact on Zakat Collection in Indonesia Randi Swandaru

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact and the electronic service quality of the national zakat management information system (SIMBA) on the national zakat collection. This paper uses a multiple regression analysis in its explorative attempt to illustrate the impact of SIMBA implementation on zakat collection in Indonesia. It shows that SIMBA is positive and significantly impact the national zakat collection as well as the human development index that is used as a proxy for the human resource management quality of zakat institutions. Nonetheless, the population is negative and significant to the zakat collection as endemic poverty and reluctance to pay zakat are indicated as the reasons. Moreover, this study has succeeded in adapting and conducting an e-service quality survey to zakat information system realm. All the tests prove that the instrument in this study has a high degree of reliability and validity. The results show that some of the demographic factors significantly impact the perceived performance of SIMBA. Multiple regression analysis that is conducted in this study shows that e-service quality dimension is positive and significant towards SIMBA’ overall quality, perceived value, and loyalty intention. This study contributes to the zakat literature, especially in the impact of the national zakat information system, which is pivotal in enhancing zakat collection and poverty alleviation program funded by zakat.

This research aims to find out descriptively about: the needs of management information systems in the Master Program of Education Management Graduate School, State University of Jakarta (UNJ), planning of management information system model that needed, the development of management information system model, and testing of management information system model. The method used is research and development. Data collected by observation, interview, documentation study, and audio-visual material. The research findings inform that in the Master program study of Education Management, data management and information currently been carried out using information systems as processing and storage of data and information. Needs that exist in the course include the need for tools, software, and human resources. Needs in the form of equipment such as computers, networks, and other support tools have been prepared. Software requirements include information system software. While human resources need such as the provision of administrative and IT staff that competent for the job. Planning includes the design objectives, aspects of education management, procedures, and design models. The design model consists of design of data flowchart and structure menu that illustrates the systems and sub-systems of the information system that designed. Development of the model is done by developing a few things like the development of graphic design, engineering source code, local webserver installation, and design layout. Development is based on the needs analysis and planning. Tests carried out in three stages. The first phase was conducted to test the way of supporting components on the local computer system. The second phase was conducted to test the way of the system designed after being embedded on a local webserver. The third phase is done to test the way of the overall information system.

The purpose of this research is to be able to see the influence of informationÃ‚Â quality and trust towards online buying decision case studies on studentÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s social media Instagram STMIK GICI Batam. This study design using quantitative methods the hypothesis by using SPSS 20 with multiple linear regression analysis.The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the total sample of 55 students in STMIK GICI Batam. The result of this research is the quality of information have significant influence to the purchasing decision (Sig 0,002 <0,05), trust significantly influence to purchasing decision (Sig 0,003 <0,05), and quality of information and trust simultaneously influence to purchase decision (Sig 0,000 <0,05) online through social media users instagram STMIK GICI Batam students.

ABSTRACTInformation System inventory on the CV.AW ELEKTRIC is the system that used in the warehouse of CV.AW ELEKTRIC Kotabumi the inventory data processing where data prosessing is still using the notes, like using a manual notes that use ledgers book and card stock. Therefore, many problems in the record, such as the accuracy of the information obtained is less detailed and tend to the information obtained is very slow. Therefore, the researchers are taking this matter to be investigated and created a better system. This is expected to help CV.AW ELEKTRIC to processing data inventory in the warehouse, so the information is relative more quickly and accurately.Development method of information system inventory are made by using waterfall method with using a system development tool flowchart document ( Flow map ), Context Diagram ( Context Diagram ), DFD ( Data flow Diagram ), table relationships, normalization from using programming language Visual Basic 6.0Information System Inventory on the CV.AW ELEKTRIC has the advantage program look attractive and easy to operate. This system as also capable of providing managerial assistance to the parties to determine whether inventory has been sold or still exist in the barn, and this system can help the user to control the stock of goods that can anticipate empty stocks and also easier to determine the amount of the order and the distance of time ordering the goods to the supplier.

Social media is an online media, which makes it easy for us to communicate openly; social media is able to shift conventional mass media in spreading the news. Through social media everyone gets an expression space that is free and easy to communicate, free to express, criticize and share on social media. But in its journey social media provides a space of freedom that transcends boundaries and strikes norms and ethics. Now the easier it is for someone to do hate speech in the form of provocation, incitement, or insult to other individuals or groups in terms of various aspects such as race, color, ethnicity, gender, disability to sexual orientation, citizenship and religion on social media. The legal rules regarding hate speech are regulated in Article 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code and Law Number 40 of 2008 Law Number 11 of 2008. Building good ethics on social media is the rule of law that social media users can know and understand the limitations in communicating on social media so as to create good, polite, responsible and civilized communication ethics

ABSTRAK Perguruan tinggi tergolong dalam industriÃ‚Â quasi-commercial, selain memberikan pelayanan pendidikan kepada masyarakat, juga menerapkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen industri komersial untuk mendapatkan dana sebagai pendukung keberlangsungan hidup universitas. Karakteristik perguruan tinggi yang demikian itu, menjadikan teknologi informasi (TI) menjadi sangat penting. Adanya kegagalan dalam implementasiÃ‚Â TIÃ‚Â dalam Universitas akan dipandang negatif oleh banyak pihak. Karenanya, IT governance saat ini menjadi salah satu critical success factor (CSF) bagi para pemimpin dan mitra perguruan tinggi untuk mengoptimalkan peran IT dalam efektifitas peningkatan aset, capaian kinerja, sasaran, tujuan, visi dan visi organisasi. Sejalan dengan perubahan keberadaan fungsi TI dari level operasional menjadi strategis di dalam suatu organisasi, muncul pula suatu manajerial baru yang disebut sebagai Chief Information Officer (CIO). Keberadaan CIO untuk organisasi yang sangat menggantungkan aktivitas bisnisnya sehari-hari pada sistem informasi dan teknologi Informasi (SITI) merupakan suatu keharusan. Tanpa adanya fungsi strategis dari sistem dan teknologi informasi, perusahaan yang bersangkutan akan mengalami permasalahan yang sangat serius. Pertanyaan yang muncul kemudian adalah bagaimana karakteristik dan peranan TI di perguruan tinggi sehingga membutuhkan tata kelola yang baik dan bagaimana peran strategis CIOÃ‚Â dalam organisasi. Tulisan ini berusaha menjawab kedua pertanyaan tersebut. Kata kunci: IT governance, chief information officer (CIO), teknologi informasi (TI), sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi (SITI) ABSTRACT Universities belong to the quasi-commercial industry, in addition to provide educational services to the community, also apply the principles of management of commercial industry to raise funds to support the survival of the university. Characteristics of such universities, making information technology (IT) becomes very important. The failure have occurred in the implementation of IT within the university would be viewed negatively by many. Therefore, IT governance is now a critical success factor one (CSF) for leaders and college partners to optimize the role of IT in increasing asset effectiveness, achievement of performance, goals, objectives, vision and the vision of the organization. In line with changes in the presence of IT functions from operational to strategic level within an organization, there are also some new managerial known as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The existence of CIO for an organization that is dependent activities of dailybusiness in the information systems and information technology (SITI) is a must.Without the strategic function of the system and information technology, the company concerned will have a very serious problem. The question that arises thenis how the characteristics and role of IT in higher education and thus require good governance and how the CIO's strategic role within the organization. Islamic and Conventional Banks in delivering information of margin in saving product have different ways. Islamic bank uses “nisbah” while conventional bank uses interest. Both have different words and disclosure but in the nominal calculation of nisbah and interest is same, because Islamic bank uses Profit Equilization Reserve which the function is as allowance, and to simply it, Islamic banking informs that to consumer as Equivalent Rate. By using Attribute Framing and Risky Choice Framing this research aims to test the information frame of nisbah and interest and it influences on saving decision making. Quasi Experiment Model is used with 49 students of Islamic Economic Studies as subject of experimental group and 20 students of other studies except Islamic Economic as subject of control group. Experimental design of this research is between subject 2X2 by using 2 cases and Random Assignment technique. Two Way ANOVA is used as analitical tool. The result of this research is when information of margin is framed in gain domain/positive frame and loss domain/positive frame subject decision in saving is less risky while when information of margin is framed in gain domain/negative frame and loss domain/negative frame subject decision in saving is risk seeking. The largest framing effect is on the certain/probability (gain domain/positive frame) and the smallest effect is on uncertain/presentation (loss domain/negative frame).

The health care system in Libya in recent years does not change significantly, less developed and modernized. This problem is further exacerbated by the revolution that occurred in Libya. The revolution that occurred in 2011 has caused the health care system into collapse. In this study conducted a review for the development of health information systems in Libya by using OpenMRS Framework.At the stage of gathering information using questionnaires concluded that the majority of respondents (about 95.35%) wanted the development of a new system that can resolve the main problems that occurred in Libya, the health information system ineffective and inefficient in which this system has led to wastage of time and increased operating costs. Based on analysis of system vulnerabilities using PIECES method could also be concluded that the current system is not used effectively and efficiently. In this study is also presented on how to implement OpenMRS.Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that OpenMRS is a solution that can be taken for the development of a health information system that is fast, low cost, and is an open source application that only requires a little setting in the system of patient management and care. OpenMRS can be implemented to support the health services of a small clinic to the health services with enterprise scale. Therefore, OpenMRS could be the answer to the development of health information systems in various countries around the world, including Libya.

Suatu organisasi hendaknya menyiapkan blueprint Teknologi Informasi yang akan dipergunakan untuk mendukung proses pengolahan data Â sebelum membangun dan mengimplementasikannya, yang pada akhirnya akan menghasilkan suatu informasi yang dibutuhkan sebagai bahan pertimbangan pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan kebijakan organisasi pada masa mendatang. Hampir semua organisasi membutuhkan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung kegiatan organisasi, namun tidak semua organisasi mempunyai blueprint Teknologi Informasi yang baik, sehingga akan mengalami kesulitan untuk mengembangkan sistem/apliksi dibidang teknologi yang dimiliki. Kesulitan dalam membangun blueprint dan roadmap implementasi ditimbulkan akibat dari tidak adanya standar arsitektur sistem, tools pengembangan, database management system (DBMS) dan manajemen dokumen sistem. Desain perangkat lunak sangat bergantung pada struktur organisasi perusahaan karena berhubungan dengan pemeliharaan, perbaikan sistem pengujian, integrasi sistem dan pengembangan sistem yang akan dimulai dari awal, bukan melanjutkan sistem yang sudah ada.Hal yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah kelancaran sistem yang sangat tergantung dari pengelolaan Teknologi Informasi, tetapi jarang sekali dilakukan dengan baik, dan oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu rekayasa sistem informasi untuk membangun infrastruktur sistem informasi dengan menggunakan sebuah framework Teknologi Informasi sebagai standar penggunaan sistem. Dengan Information Technology Infrastructure Library(ITIL) sebagai â€Best Practiceâ€ framework di bidang IT yang dicetuskan dan banyak diimplementasikan di United Kingdom (UK), diharapkan organisasi dapat memperoleh roadmap implementasi dan blueprint untuk pemanfaatan, implementasi dan penggunaan Teknologi Informasi.Â Kata kunci : teknologi, informasi, institusi, blueprint, perancangan, sistem, pemeliharaan,framework, best practice, infrastruktur library.Â

The problems raised in this study are: (1) Lack of human resources to fill the structure so that concurrent positions occur in the work system in Binjai City KPU, (2) Lack of facilities and infrastructure in Binjai City KPU, (3) Still lack of socialization in Implementation Election Commission Regulation Number 1 of 2015. This study uses qualitative research methods, which are used in a study to obtain a qualitative description and will be dominated by many words, sentences and descriptions and rarely use numerical data, although it does not rule out the possibility of displaying tables or graphs to support the completeness of the data. From the results of the study, it is known that the existence of Regulation of the General Election Commission No. 1 of 2015 has a significant impact on improvements in public services, namely services that are getting better in "one door" by PPID, openness to access to public information, increasing active role of society, equality of treatment , timeliness, ease and affordability. Although there is still much to be improved in implementing the 2015 KPU Regulation No. 1.
