Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Accounting Information System utilization and human resource quality on the quality of financial reports. For the 2018-2020 timeframe, this research will focus on Sahabat Agro Group Ltd, an oil palm plantation company. Primary data were collected using questionnaires with a total of 36 samples. In this study, descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing are used in the analysis. The findings indicate that while the deployment of accounting information systems improves the quality of financial reports, the quality of human resources improves the quality of financial reports. Simultaneous usage of accounting information systems with high-quality human resources, on the other hand, improves the quality of financial reporting.

Abstract

The main problem in this study, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has plagued Indonesia for more than a year, has caused various problems and impacted various aspects of life, especially in education. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the government enforces distance learning, which also impacts learning Arabic and requires teachers to develop creativity in learning. Using a qualitative field research method, this study aims to determine the creativity of Arabic language teachers in utilizing information technology for distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic. As for some of the media used, such as. Create video content, take advantage of social media, use video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Google Meet, to take advantage of educational website services in the form of Google Classroom and Wordwall games. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researchers, this study proved that there are various kinds of teacher creativity in learning Arabic online, such as interactive multimedia, quizzes with google forms, word wall games, and so on. Second, eliminating student learning boredom by developing teacher creativity based on information technology. Third, it is still necessary to conduct information technology-based creativity development training, especially in learning Arabic, because not all Arabic language teachers can develop information technology-based teaching skills. This study proved that there are various kinds of teacher creativity in learning Arabic online, such as interactive multimedia, quizzes with google forms, word wall games. Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the role of the National Library (Perpustakaan Nasional) in improving literacy culture during the Covid-19 pandemic through the analysis of the SWOT+PEST communication strategy. With the desk research analysis method, data and information from observational information sources from online media and books combined with a description of the SWOT+PEST analysis, it was found that libraries can be said to play an important role in increasing public information literacy. The achievement of a strong literacy democracy can lead to a stronger development of Indonesia.

Abstract

Terrorism is a global issue, it leads loss of lives and property. Nigeria is one of the countries that are groaning under terrorist attacks. Terrorism as an organized crime has claimed more than one million lives, property worth billions of Naira have been destroyed. Hence, this paper assesses Information Communication Technology (ICT) and terrorism in Nigeria for enhanced national security. The study adopts qualitative research methods, data were sourced secondarily through the content analysis of edited textbooks, peer- reviewed journals, and credible online resources. The study anchors on routine activity and modernization theories. Findings showed that there are lapses in the current security architecture in Nigeria; there is a lack of coordination among the existing security structures which are inadequate and archaic. The study recommends the effective application of Information Communication Technology (ICT) to checkmate terrorism. The study will be beneficial to entire citizens, government at various levels, ministries of defense, Non-governmental organizations and researchers in the field of Security and Criminology.

Abstract

Background: Non-print information resources are increasingly becoming more important as vital learning materials in higher learning institutions. Academic libraries therefore, have to acquire, process, organize and preserve them for current and future use. Purpose: This paper aims to assess the factors affecting the non-print information resources and their recommended preservation approaches in academic libraries. Method: The study adopted a convergent parallel mixed approach which collects and analyses data to produce integrated findings by using both qualitative and quantitative techniques in a single study. Data was collected by means of questionnaire and in-depth interview. Result: The study revealed that dust, loss of data on disc and hard disc, loss of data due to server failure, high heat, and excessive light, fading of disc surface, high humidity, fungus on disc surface, atmospheric pollutants and virus attack were factors affecting non-print information resources. It was also revealed that highly recommended preservation approaches were good cleanliness of library where information resources are kept, educating library users on how to handle and use information resources, migrating information resources from obsolete storage media to modern storage media, technology preservation and refreshing. Conclusion: The study concludes that library staff need to adopt recommended preservation approaches to safeguard the important information in academic libraries but also system librarians in academic libraries need to be employed to assist in trouble shooting issues. Abstract

In fact there are still some of factors that for the referral late, as the occurence of, obstructed labor the difficulty of the decision-making process related to the economic aspect and transportation costs, and the aspect of geographic and availability of infrastructure hospital. This study attempts to analyze the supporters and the barrier covering input and process in the referral system patients BPJS at UPT Puskesmas Gumuruh. A method of made in this study is the method field, a method of literature and method of development systems which is waterfall. The result showed that the lack of facilities and services at UPT Puskesmas Gumuruh still experienced limited supplies and unsatisfactory.The referral online at health facilities first degree is expected to ease patients to obtain, referral letter there is one problem in registration and making. Therefore, the authors designed a web-based BPJS patient referral letter information system to make it easier for patients to obtain hospital services tailored to competence, distance, and capacity according to patient needs. The puskesmas, health offices and BPJS Health need to work together to disseminate information regarding the referral system and pay attention to the provision of drugs and health facilities to maximize the implementation of the referral system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of AIS user satisfaction, AIS personal technical ability, training and education of AIS users on AIS performance with gender as a moderating variable in all offices in Kuningan Regency either simultaneously or partially. The research method used is descriptive and verification methods. The research population is in all offices in Kuningan Regency as many as 18 offices in Kuningan Regency. Calculation of the sample using the slovin formula so that the sample is obtained as many as 74 respondents. Then the sampling was carried out using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed to all offices in Kuningan Regency, while the data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis and moderate regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that AIS user satisfaction, AIS personal technical ability, training and education of AIS users had a simultaneous and significant effect on AIS performance. AIS user satisfaction, AIS personal technical ability, training and education of AIS users partially have a positive and significant effect on AIS performance. Gender moderates the effect of AIS user satisfaction, AIS personal technical ability, training and education of AIS users on AIS performance.

Abstract

Lombok Island has extensive land resources with a lot of water content so that it is suitable to be managed and utilized for plantation. The Local Government continues to try to expand the planting area of ​​the plantation sector in order to increase production. To control management and development in plantation sector, Local Government needs a plantation monitoring information system. Some aspects of plantation that can be monitored include the location and area of ​​planting, types of plantation commodities, number of trees, amount of production, planting time, estimated harvest time, income and outlay. With the monitoring system, complete plantation data will be obtained so that Local Government can establish appropriate policies to increase production yields in plantation sector. The plantation monitoring information system designed is desktop-based. Abstract

ABSTRACTLaw No. 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals, states that hospitals are obliged to respect and protect the rights of patients. The early survey found that completion time in the implementation of the release of medical information for claims was constrained, depend on the presence and willingness of doctors to fill out medical information. These obstacles can possibly cause the loss for patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the release of medical information for commercial insurance claims at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang.The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted on May-June 2021 with 2 subjects, namely the insurance officer and the head of the medical record unit. The data were collected by online interviews and analyzed descriptively based on regulations of the Sultan Agung Hospital and the legal aspects of health and then conclusions were drawn.The results showed that the implementation of information release has maintained patient privacy, every release of medical information is followed by permission from the patient/family, release to third parties accompanied by a power of attorney, release of medical information is given by the DPJP doctor. However, the release of medical information has not been involved the director and the regulation on completion time standards has not been implemented optimally. Suggestions from this study is to evaluate the applicable regulations.Keywords: Release of Medical Information, Medical Records, Commercial Insurance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of information-seeking, knowledge, and self-sufficiency on Indonesian consumerism behaviour. There were 2100 data determined by using systematic random sampling. Data analyses applied Structural Equation Modeling using LISREL 8.7. The results confirmed that information-seeking significantly influence consumers’ knowledge. However, consumers’ self-sufficiency did not considerably affect information-seeking. It also revealed a significant positive effect of information-seeking and self-sufficiency toward consumerism behaviour, but no significant impact between consumers’ knowledge and consumerism behaviour. The government and consumer protection institutions need to be more intensive in conducting socialization to increase consumer knowledge and consumerism behaviour.
