Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the successful implementation of the Regional Management Information System (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Daerah—SIMDA) by linking the perceived ease of users mediated by perceptions of behavior to continue to use and benefit. This research is quantitative research with a survey method using a questionnaire at the South Sumatra Provincial Government. Then, the data is processed and analyzed using PLS. From the results of the analysis, it is found that there is no significant influence between the relationship between perceived ease of use and the successful implementation of the Regional Information Management System, but perceptions of usefulness and behaviors to keep using can be strong influence between relationship between perceived ease of use and the successful implementation of system. This research contributes to the decision makers of accounting system developers to consider the factors that encourage system users who can try to participate in realizing the successful implementation of the system itself.

Abstract

Large data dimensionality is one of the issues in anomaly detection. One approach used to overcome large data dimensions is feature selection. An effective feature selection technique will produce the most relevant features and can improve the classification algorithm to detect attacks. There have been many studies on feature selection techniques, each using different methods and strategies to find the best and relevant features. In this study, a comparison of Information Gain, Gain Ratio, CFs-BestFirst and CFs-PSO Search techniques was compared. The selection features of the four techniques were further validated by the Naive Bayes classification algorithm, k-NN and J48. This study uses the ISCX CICIDS-2017 dataset. Based on the test results the feature selection techniques affect the performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm, k-NN and J48. Increasingly relevant and important features can improve detection performance. The test results also show that the number of features influences the processing / computing time. CFs-BestFirst produces a smaller number of features compared to CFs-PSO Search, Information Gain and Gain Ratio so it requires lower processing time. In addition, k-NN requires a higher processing time than Naive Bayes and J48

Abstract

Having the belief of being competent in the subject area during the years of training are essential aspect for pre-service teachers. It will benefit them not only during their training or study but also when they are in their teaching duty.  It tries to look at how the ICT pre-service teachers look at their own ability in relation to their professional competence which is Informatics Engineering and Computer subjects. This is a preliminary study in an effort to investigate pre-service teachers during their teacher education training. By looking at their self-efficacy in relation to their professional competence, recommendation could be made for future reference. This study employs quantitative method by using questionnaire for its data collection. It involves 130 pre-service teachers in their training. The result of the study shows that the dimensions of self-efficacy explored in this study show high interval for all three dimensions; its level, strength, and generality. This reflects that those pre-service teachers have high self-efficacy when they are attending the professional competence courses. This condition reflects that they will likely to be successful in carrying out their teaching duty provided they consistently have the high self-efficacy. Finally, some recommendations for further study are made so that this area could be more thoroughly explored.

Abstract

This study is a preliminary research on how students understand patterns. Students' understanding of something is a cognitive phenomenon as, according to information processing perspective, an integral part of the stimulus, receiving, encoding, storing and retrieving information. This paper aims to describe the information processing by students when they interpret the graph as a task that was delivered using takjil context. There are 9 seven graders aged 11-12 years in various mathematics ability that three students in each its category high, mid and low. It was found that: (1) The graph given in the task attract students' attention with various reasons. (2) The level of abstraction and processing is in accordance with students' mathematical abilities. (3) The number of words related to the context activated at certain period was determined by reviews of their experiences with similar contexts. (4) Concepts of a new schemes were not solely determined by the students' mathematical abilities. Broadly, this study recommends students to have learning experiences through varying contexts and gain extensive experiences to develop appropriate and useful cognitive schemes for solving problems. How to CiteMampouw, H. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of accounting expertise and accounting information systems on the performance of MSMEs using environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable.  The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires. A total of 97 respondents were collected from various MSMEs in the Lagoa sub-district, Jakarta, Indonesia. The sample was tested for validity and reliability as well as hypothesis testing through the Smart PLS software application. The findings indicated that accounting expertise had no discernible influence on MSMEs' performance. Accounting information systems have a substantial impact on the performance of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Uncertainty in the environment might mitigate the influence of accounting expertise on the performance of MSMEs. Environmental uncertainty may mitigate the influence of accounting information systems on the performance of small and medium-sized businesses.
