Abstract

The search for a substitute for fossil energy resources in view of the growing demand for environmentally friendly technologies for electricity generation, and the needs of the growing economics and population in Indonesia have increased the interest in photovoltaic as a long term, environmentally friendly and reliable energy technology. Although Indonesia outperformed its regional neighbors and joined China and India as the only G20 members posting growth during the 2009 economic crisis, Indonesia still struggles with poverty and unequal energy distribution. Fortypercent of Indonesian households are still not electrified and most of them live in the rural area.Indonesia is trying to introduce a modern electricity technology to rural population who cannot be served economically or in a timely manner by the conventional rural electrification system. For several decades, the electricity generation in Indonesia have been under the monopolistic management of national electric company, PLN controlled and funded by the government.Experience shows that PLN has for reasons of limited funding, inadequate capacity, and has been unable to service and ensure the expansion of the utility grid to most rural households. The utilization of a photovoltaic system is targeted to contribute to the rural electrification and contribute in total of one half percent to the domestic energy mix. The photovoltaic development in Indonesia is progressing very slowly. The goal to have 50 MWp of photovoltaic generating power in the year 2010 has not been accomplished. Current installed photovoltaic capacity is 10 MWp about 2.85 percent of the year 2025 target. This dissertation studies socio and economic viability, rural information access and financial facilities influences to the sustainability of photovoltaic system dissemination in the rural area of Indonesia

Abstract

The research on the influence of the quality of software human resources information systems and user participation on user satisfaction in the Bureau of Human Resources Trisakti University. The research purposes (1) Identify the effect of the quality of software human resources information system for user satisfaction as users of the system, (2) Identify the effect of user participation on user satisfaction as users of the system (3) identification of the influence of the quality of software human resource information systems and participation user together to user satisfaction as users of the system. This research is descriptive and correlational research is to describe the characteristics of respondents and aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The research was conducted at the Bureau of Human Resources University of Trisakti by respondents as many as 32 people and using correlational and regression analyzes. The study found that the quality of the software (Xl) and user participation (X2) either individually or group have a strong influence and positive impact on user satisfaction (1J as the user s system. From this study several conclusions can be drawn as follows: (1) there is a strong and positive relationship between software quality variables (Xl) to the satisfaction of the user m with r values of 0.584, (2) there is a strong and positive relationship between the variables user participation (X2) with user satisfaction (Y) with r value of 0.721 (3) The regression model obtained is Y = -2.125 + 0.304 software quality (Xl) + 0.397 user participation (X2), (4) regression models can state that the variable quality of the software and user participation is jointly affect user satisfaction as users of the system. It is shown from ANOVA test results were obtained Fcount of 22.642 with a significance level of F = 0.000 which is much smaller than 0.05, (5) The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.610 implies that, 61.0% user satisfaction can be explained by a variety of software quality and variety of user participation, while the rest is explained by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to empirically test the effect of information quality on perceived usefulness, the effect of information quality on perceived ease of use, and the effect of perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed by Davis (1999) to evaluate perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.The method of data analysis in this research using analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Partial Least Square (PLS) with PLS 3.0.The resultd of this study showed that (1) Quality of information positively affects perceived usefulness, (2) Quality of information positively affects perceived ease of use, and (3) Perceived ease of use positively affects perceived usefulness. The limitations of this study were as follows: (1) The inherent limitations of the data obtained through the questionnaire, due to differences in the authors' perceptions ofthe research respondents, (2) Limitations of the number of accounting student respondents who are following the course of Accounting Introduction Practicum, and (3) Limitations on the selection of accounting software samples used are limited only to the use of the ACCURATE software. Subsequent research suggested that (1) Consider other independent variables that may influence perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, such as user satisfaction and user intent, and (2) Increase the sample size of respondents in this case not only students who are taking the course Practicum Introduction to Accounting, but also students who have taken the course before

Abstract

Many factors influence the fluctuation of stock prices, including: deposit interest rates, stock trading volume, return on equity, earnings per share. The last two factors are part of the financial statements presented by the issuers. The financial statements contain accounting earnings information and cash flow. Therefore it is necessary to examine empirically whether accounting earnings and cash flows have an influence on changes in stock prices. Data is collected from the stock prices of insurance companies that have gone public in the Jakarta Stock Exchange which have a nominal value per share of Rp.1,000.00 (one thousand rupiah) from 2008 to 2012. This study took 10 existing insurance companies to analyze. The basis for this sampling is based on the amount of data available on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Website. From the results of variable analysis of total cash flow and accounting profit variables in the first equation individually can not significantly influence stock prices. And together all the independent variables have no effect simultaneously on stock prices. The value of Squared R is very low, which means that the variable cannot explain stock prices, but can be explained by other variables not included in the research model. Variable operational cash flows, investment cash flows and funding cash flows in the second equation individually can not influence stock prices significantly. And together all the independent variables have no effect simultaneously on stock prices. Also obtained is a very low R Squared value, which means that the variable cannot explain stock prices, but can be explained by other variables not included in the research model
