Abstract

The digitalization of the mobile ticketing sector in Indonesia has seen significant growth, with a projected 50% increase in mobile ticketing app usage by 2025. Popular applications such as Traveloka, Tiket.com, Agoda, and Booking.com dominate the market, yet they face several technical challenges, including navigation difficulties, unclear interfaces, performance bugs during peak hours, slow application response times, and limited features. This study employed the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method and involved 578 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The criteria included active users of one of the mobile ticketing apps and individuals aged between 20 and 40 years. The results of the t-test revealed that Agoda needs to improve the perspicuity aspect by simplifying its dense user interface, particularly in accommodation and travel ticket searches. Regarding efficiency, Traveloka, Agoda, and Booking.com must enhance their search systems and address bugs/errors that disrupt performance during peak usage times. For stimulation, Traveloka should enhance user experience by providing a more dynamic and responsive layout when navigating pages or performing searches. In terms of novelty, both Agoda and Booking.com are advised to integrate local e-wallets such as GoPay, OVO, and DANA, as well as bank transfer options, since currently they only support credit card payments. These findings highlight the critical role of UX in improving user satisfaction and suggest that continuous user-centered development is essential for maintaining competitiveness in the mobile ticketing industry.

Abstract

Each region in Indonesia has its own unique and distinctive culinary traditions. However, many people are still unfamiliar with the names of traditional Indonesian snacks, especially those that originate from regions other than their own. Promoting these traditional snacks is essential as an initial step in educating both domestic and international audiences about Indonesia’s cultural diversity. Culinary heritage is also a key factor in attracting tourists to visit a region. One way to address this issue is through image classification of Indonesian traditional snacks using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). This study uses a dataset consisting of 30 images across 10 classes, with 3 images per class. The model was trained over 40 epochs and achieved an accuracy of 86%. The testing phase yielded a recall of 86%, precision of 91%, and an F1-score of 88%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the user experience of OpenProject at PT Promanufacture Indonesia Salatiga using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The UEQ method was chosen for its effectiveness in measuring user satisfaction and analyzing the quality of user experience across six main evaluation scales: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Data were collected from 100 OpenProject users at PT Promanufacture Indonesia Salatiga and analyzed based on the average scores for each scale category. The results showed that most categories received positive ratings, with average scores above 0.8, except for the attractiveness scale, which fell into the "below average" category. The benchmark analysis indicated that the dependability scale ranked as "excellent," while the perspicuity and efficiency scales were categorized as "above average." The stimulation and novelty scales were rated as "good." These findings suggest that OpenProject excels in efficiency, dependability, and novelty, although improvements in visual appeal are necessary to enhance user comfort. This study contributes to the development of user experience theory in digital project management systems and reinforces the validity of the UEQ as a UX evaluation tool in professional software environments. It also highlights that while attractiveness may not be a primary factor in project management systems, it still plays a role in fostering user engagement. Therefore, UX models for enterprise software should strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The results of this research provide valuable insights for companies seeking to improve user experience and the effectiveness of project management systems.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers have a shorter height compared to the normal growth standard for their age. Preventing stunting is crucial, as children with stunting are more vulnerable to illnesses, experience growth failure before the age of 12 months, and tend to have lower intellectual abilities. Stunting can be diagnosed even before birth by assessing the nutritional status of pregnant women. Pregnant women with poor nutritional status are at a higher risk of delivering babies with low birth weight (LBW), which in turn increases the risk of stunting. Diagnosing the nutritional status of pregnant women and the risk of giving birth to stunted children typically requires expert knowledge, such as that of midwives or obstetricians. Expert systems make it possible for pregnant women to receive real-time diagnoses without the need for direct consultations with healthcare professionals. Expert knowledge in identifying the nutritional status of pregnant women and indicators of stunting risk is stored in a knowledge base, which is translated into a computer-readable rule base in the form of IF-THEN statements. This process is known as knowledge acquisition. The accuracy of the rule base plays a crucial role in ensuring reliable diagnostic results. Decision Tree is one of the data mining algorithms used to generate rule bases. In this study, the Decision Tree algorithm is optimized using Grid Search as a knowledge acquisition technique to determine the rule base applied in the Stunting Prevention Expert System (SIPENTING). The system is Android-based and aims to help pregnant women better understand their nutritional needs. Testing and validation results show that the Decision Tree model achieved an accuracy of 86.3%.

Abstract

Scoring in bridge tournaments is still largely dominated by traditional methods such as manual score sheets and specialized devices like Bridgemate. While widely used, these approaches present significant limitations—manual scorekeeping is prone to human error, and Bridgemate devices are often costly and not accessible to all organizers. To address these challenges, Bridge Team Comparator was developed as an iOS-based application offering a more accurate, efficient, and affordable scoring solution for bridge tournaments. Designed with a user-friendly interface for both novice and experienced players, the application supports real-time score entry, automatic calculation of International Match Points (IMP), and efficient result summaries. The development process adopted the Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) framework through the phases of Engage, Investigate, and Act, focusing on simplifying the bridge scoring process. User testing involved bridge athletes from Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Brawijaya, and the Sidoarjo bridge community. Results demonstrated a reduction in scoring errors by 8–36% and increased efficiency compared to conventional methods. In addition to offering a cost-effective alternative to commercial devices, the application contributes to the digital transformation of scoring systems in traditional sports. With potential for cross-platform development, Bridge Team Comparator opens new opportunities for broader adoption within the global bridge community.

Abstract

Wayang performances are an integral part of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. This traditional art form has been deeply rooted in Indonesian society for centuries, evolving through live performances and, more recently, through rapid digital adaptations—including presentations on online platforms such as YouTube. In the digital age, YouTube has become a leading platform for video sharing, allowing audiences to enjoy wayang performances without being physically present. However, data from the Central Bureau of Statistics on Socio-Cultural Affairs indicates a decline in interest among younger generations in traditional arts such as wayang. This highlights the need for innovative and relevant approaches to reintroduce this cultural heritage to them. Sentiment analysis based on viewer comments offers an effective way to identify audience opinions—whether positive, negative, or neutral. Comment data were collected using web scraping techniques with Selenium WebDriver, enabling efficient data extraction. The collected data then underwent preprocessing, including case folding, tokenization, and stopword removal, to prepare it for classification. The Naïve Bayes algorithm was employed to categorize comments into positive, negative, or neutral sentiments. Preliminary results revealed that 51.6% of comments were positive, 42.3% neutral, and 6.0% negative. Model evaluation using K-fold cross-validation yielded an accuracy of 0.98 ± 0.01, a precision of 0.99 ± 0.01, and a recall of 0.72 ± 0.11 without applying SMOTE. After applying SMOTE, recall improved to 0.80 ± 0.05. This study contributes to the development of more accurate sentiment analysis models in the context of social media and underscores the importance of techniques like SMOTE in addressing class imbalance issues.
