Abstract

AL- Fattah Bakery and Cake is a company engaged in the production and sale of pastries. In managing raw material inventory, you must ensure sufficient inventory for sales, minimizing the time and costs required. Inventory control is an effort carried out by a company to optimize sales and seek as little risk as possible. The problem faced by AL- Fattah Bakery and Cake for each branch in Asahan Regency is the difficulty in determining the amount of raw material inventory that must be produced in the following month in order to continue to meet customer demand and not cause accumulation over a long period of time and maintain the stability of raw material stock. . Because if there is a buildup of stock, it could result in the product expiring and failing to be distributed to customers. This is caused by customer demand which changes every month following existing trends. The aim of this research is to predict raw material supplies using the SMA (Single Moving Average) method at AL- Fattah Bakery and Cake for each branch in Asahan Regency. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the Single Moving Average (SMA) method can help AL- Fattah Bakery and Cake Aek Teluk Kiri with the Single Moving Average Method in predicting the supply of bread raw materials for the following month.

Abstract

The online licensing information system website, hereinafter referred to as SIMPONIE, still faces a number of challenges as a transition from manual to digital system and has never been properly checked on the SIMPONIE website. This study aims to assess the good and bad level of SIMPONIE services using six e-govqual dimensions and provide advice based on the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis. Research development on this method covers the wider scope of service quality. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach to collect data from 50 sample questionnaires and to carry out validity and reliability checks along with hypothesis testing and IPA quadrant analysis. According to the research results, 90.5% of the choices regarding service quality are influenced by factors of community support, function, and involvement as well as user convenience, reliability, and trust. With a gap value (GAP) of -0.75, there is a high priority scale for improvement in quadrant A, namely the license issuance function will be faster if it can be downloaded independently (RLB 2), the system often experiences errors or errors (FI 4) and live chat feature that needs improvement and human resource improvement. The implication of this research is that it can provide recommendations for improvements to improve the service quality of the online licensing system.

Abstract

E-commerce is the activity of buying and selling goods or services carried out electronically via the internet, involving online transaction, payment and delivery processes. The Azzahra Hijab Medan Shop is one of the shops engaged in selling hijabs in Medan City which still uses a conventional shop model without utilizing e-commerce to support the sales system. The transaction process in this shop is still done manually, from customers selecting goods to recording transactions in a book. Customers from outside the area can place online orders via the WhatsApp service with the shop owner providing a product photo catalog in stages. Therefore, an e-commerce system is needed to support online sales. The User Centered Design (UCD) method is important in designing e-commerce, starting with involving the user context in the early stages of development and involving system testing, enabling the creation of an optimal and user-friendly design. With the implementation of this E-Commerce based sales system, it is hoped that it will facilitate sales with more efficient transactions, faster data processing, help sales of goods become more accurate, and make it easier for consumers to order products.

Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, as it is now, all-digital processes to support business are commonplace. So that we need a design that can align between the business processes of a company with the information system owned by the company. PT. PLN (Prima Layanan Nasipnal) Enjiniring is a company engaged in the field of electricity engineering consulting under the auspices of or a subsidiary of PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), which carries out planning, construction, operation and maintenance as well as performance management in electricity and non-electricity infrastructure and the role of Information Technology is very necessary in the running of Business Processes in this company. The application of Information Systems and Information Technology at PLN. Enjiniring is currently not yet integrated with each other so that the application of IS/IT has not run optimally and has not been effective in data exchange, so it is necessary to hold integration of information systems managed by the Information Technology Section of PT. PLN. Enjiniring so that in to design an integrated information system requires Enterprise Architecture (EA) using the TOGAF ADM framework. The results of this EA design are in the form of artifacts in the TOGAF ADM component which are expected with these artifacts to become recommendations in the implementation of integrated information system infrastructure in information systems managed by the Information Technology Section of PT. PLN. Enjiniring so that with the implementation of an integrated information system it can support the process business that runs on PT. PLN. Enjiniring.

Abstract

Digital security is a critical aspect in the current era of information technology, where access to personal devices and data is often the main target by irresponsible parties. Traditional identification methods such as passwords and PINs are starting to show limitations in addressing increasingly complex security challenges.. The dorsal hand veins offer certain advantages that make them an attractive option for biometric recognition systems because the dorsal hand vein pattern tends to be stable over time, unaffected by external factors such as changes in weather or hygiene. This research aims to develop a system that can identify the blood vessels of the back of the hand as a biometric sign. The approach used involves extracting GLRLM features and applying the Back Propagation Neural Network identification method. The main goal is to achieve a higher level of accuracy than previous studies in the same domain. The identification process involves several stages, starting from image reception, image pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, identification, to obtaining images resulting from blood vessel identification. Test results show that the system developed achieved an average success rate of 82.52% based on five different test scenarios. The fourth scenario was proven to provide the highest test accuracy results, namely 87%.

Abstract

In the effort to digitize Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at DINKOPUKM Salatiga, several issues have been identified. These include recurring disruptions to wifi during operational activities, computers with low device specifications, inadequate computer resources, and poorly organized annual reports. Therefore, there is a need for IS/IT alignment to support business processes, such as Enterprise Architecture planning, ensuring that the agency has a standardized IS/IT environment as the strategic foundation for the business processes of DINKOPUKM Salatiga. The planning method used is TOGAF ADM, with the goal of producing a technology development blueprint for DINKOPUKM Salatiga. This blueprint can serve as a recommendation for the development of existing systems and provide a strategy for handling risks in case of technological issues. The benefits of this research include serving as a foundation for system development, evaluating the use of technology, and gaining knowledge in managing potential risks in hardware and software maintenance. The analysis results in the creation of new, more modern business processes, an architectural plan, and the alignment of IS/IT needed for future planning. Additionally, risk identification based on 2 risk factors and 11 risk items produces solutions that can be recommended for addressing emerging issues.

Abstract

The application of information technology is a crucial aspect of Human Resources (HR) activities in an organization (company) to manage its employees, such as attendance data, personal data, and performance appraisals. This data can produce information to make a decision. To assist HR in carrying out their duties, an IT company implements a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), but it has never been tested. The purpose of this research is to test the Human Resource system that has been implemented using the ISO 25010:2011 method with usability characteristics. The research stage starts with analyzing the employees' problems with using the system. Tests are divided into 2 types, namely on employees who often use the system and employees who rarely use the system, and determining the research method. Afterward, determine the characteristics and sub-characteristics and their weight, make assessment indicators of the sub-characteristics, assess the usability characteristic testing, and at the end, total calculation of them. The results showed that the lowest ratings were still obtained for the employee learnability sub-characteristics, namely 77.2% and 65.3% for both types. Therefore, it is recommended that the company should make a detailed user guide and prepare training for all employees. So they will understand the system well.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at Gucci 3 Bunut Store, which is engaged in the leather products industry such as sandals, shoes, and others. The challenges faced by this store in managing sales, marketing, and customer service motivate the design of an effective and efficient CRM system. The CRM used in this research is an operational CRM that focuses on automating the sales and customer service processes. Qualitative research methods, through interviews and observations, were used to understand the needs of customers, employees, and related parties. CRM application development was carried out using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The research objective was to improve the efficiency and convenience of customer interaction. The implementation results show the ease of obtaining product information and facilitating the ordering process. The implications include increased operational and service efficiency, potentially increasing customer loyalty. This research contributes to the understanding of CRM implementation in the retail sector, creates innovative solutions for Gucci 3 Bunut Store, and supports the improvement of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

AI has been able to intelligently mimic human behavior and has been applied in various contexts, including healthcare for more efficient patient care. One of the prominent trends in AI is advanced language models such as ChatGPT developed by OpenAI. The effectiveness of ChatGPT in finding and fixing bugs in computer code is a subject of debate, depending on the task, training data, and system design. The popularity of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, as a data source for text analysis has increased interest in sentiment analysis. This study explores sentiment towards the ChatGPT application using a dataset of 50,000 tweets. Sentiment analysis is performed using a deep neural network (DNNs) approach to achieve optimal accuracy. Deep learning models are known to have high predictivity and efficient training time. Through this experiment, we aim to gain insight into how the public views ChatGPT in three sentiment categories: positive, negative, and neutral. DNN (Deep Neural Network) is proposed because of its good performance and can shorten the amount of training time. The results with the model used in this study, namely CNN and LSTM both achieve an accuracy value of more than 90%: Where CNN obtains an accuracy value of 91.12% and LSTM obtains an accuracy of 90.84%.

Abstract

The current revolution in technology makes data a crucial part of real-life applications due to its importance in making decisions. In the era of big data and the massive expansion of data streams on Internet networks and platforms, the process of data collection, mining, and analysis has become a not easy matter. Therefore, the presence of auxiliary applications for data mining and gathering has become a necessary need. Usually, companies offer special APIs to collect data from particular destinations, which needs a high cost. Generally, there is a severe lack in the literature in providing approaches that offer flexible, low, or free of cost tools for web scraping. Hence, this article provides a free tool that can be used for data mining and data collection purposes from the web. Specifically, an efficient Google Scholar web scraper is introduced. The extracted data can be used for analysis purposes and making decisions about an issue of interest. The proposed scraper can also be modified for crawling web links and retrieving specific data from a particular website. It can also formalize the collected data as a ready dataset to be used in the analysis phase. The efficiency of the proposed scraper is tested in terms of the time consumption, accuracy, and quality of the data collected. The findings showed that the proposed approach is highly feasible for data collection and can be adopted by data analysts.
