Abstract

Kata kunci yang sering digunakan pada umumnya dalam dunia mistis atau spiritual adalah pengalaman. Yang menanamkan rahmat Allah, pada kenyataannya, adalah sebuah pengalaman spiritual disapa oleh cinta kasih Allah. Pengalaman ini dibagikan kepada saudara-saudara kami dalam sebuah perubahan praksis. Allah yang Maha Pemurah selama ini menjadi pengalaman iman yang dapat dibuat sebagai pertemuan titik dalam membina sebuah cinta yang berdasarkan atas kerukunan umat beragama. Dalam tradisi Gereja Protestan, kita dapat menemukan pijakan untuk pengembangan teologi spiritual teologi rohani John Calvin, yang disebut sebagai penyayang spiritualitas. Saat ini pengalaman rahmat Allah ditantang oleh kontekstualitas kekhawatiran dari gambaran tunawisma Yesus. Para pengungsi tidak hanya menantang masyarakat Kristen untuk mengakui Kristus sebagai orang asing yang berkekurangan, tetapi juga ingin menyambut mereka dalam cinta dan perdamaian meskipun mempunyai agama dan keyakinan yang berbeda dengan mereka.

Abstract

Comparative theology is a new theological approach to religious plurality. It begins with taking and accepting religious diversity seriously, not as a threat but as a blessing in the deepest sense of the word. Beyond tolerance, comparative theology goes further to respond innovatively to the enormous opportunity that religious plurality offers to us to think about our own religious tradition in new ways. In fact, using a posteriori knowledge and appreciation of Muslim beliefs of the Qu'ran as revelation, in this study we have the insights to re-think and deepen our understanding of God's self-manifestation in Jesus Christ. Moreover, unexpectedly but happily we find that it is God's self-emptying love in the crucified but risen Christ which constitutes, for us, the universal criterion in regard to salvation and revelation and, at the same time, the deepest aspiration in encountering others.

Abstract

Pastoral ministry is centered around an activity of sharing Gospel values. Itsmain context is faith experience of the people of God. How can these valuesbe truly integrated into ones life? Life of a person is marked by a gradualtransformation. Ones pre-understandings are mainly formed through daily lifepractices. Unavoidably these pre-understandings are assumed in understandingthe Gospel. Hermeneutics unfold a process of understanding. However, thisdoes not mean that a reader would not be able to involve personally andtotally in an effort of living the Gospel. In its turn his or her experiencewill be re-interpreted and transformed by the Gospel. While doing pastoralministry, one and a community will deeply experience the truth of the Gospel.In some ways, they reflect the truth of the Gospel that are peace and justice.The core of pastoral ministry is to foster the living community in promotingthe values of the Gospel. This community may eventually become a peacefuland prophetic movement in the world.

Abstract

The Message of the Holy Father John Paul II for 36th the World Communication Day 2002, reflects on the means of the Internet for evangelization, "Internet: A New Forum for Proclaiming the Gospel". The Internet is a new forum into which the Holy Father encourages the Christians to follow the Lord's command to "put out into the deep: Duc in altum! (Lk 5:4). The subsequent Messages for the World Communication Day give some directions to the Christians on the internet as a new social communication media. Internet is modern Aeropagus, which is unifying humanity and connecting each other in the same time, and has its own languages and cultures. It is a challenge for evangelization. The Holy Fathers not only invites to use internet as means of proclaiming the Gospel, but integrates the message of the Gospel in it.

Abstract

Didache is not a canonical book, but it is one of the classical literatures of theearly Church. From this book, we can explore the morality dan liturgical praxisof the early Church. This study will attempt to represent the content of Didachethat give many details of The Two Way, the way of life and the way of death,as the prebaptismal catecheses and how the community of Didache practice thebaptismal rites and Eucharist prayer. This study will search also the relationbetween Didache and the gospel of Matthew and whether both of them are fromthe same community. We can find that the community of Didache and Mattheware from the same Jewish Christian background, but they are different whenapply the Moses Law in their daily Christian life.

Abstract

Is there any common points between the prophetic movement and rationality? There are three common things. First, prophetic movement and rationality reflect on life context. Secondly, they are transformative movements. Third, they lead to the developing of civilization that upholds the values of truth, justice and peace in the midst of the challenges of disintegration of nation and destruction of nature. In other words, they are an ethical movement. In the context of globalization characterized by life orientation on quantitative things, main role of prophecy and rationality is to restore the lives toward a wider horizon. They become relevant in our age when they actualize their role in solving humanitarian issues and promoting human civilization. For that prophetic movement requires a strong rational basis for networking and synergistic cooperation in developing a civilization of more qualified.

Abstract

The significance of the Word of God in the life of the Church is taken for granted. The Second Vatican Council empasized its central role in the life of the people of God (DV 21). The problem is that many Catholics prefer the sacramental celebrations and many other popular devotions. At the same time, a good number of their leaders have difficulties in preaching the Word of God and to make it relevant to the struggle of the people of today. Therefore a good discussion on the richness of the Word of God is extraordinarily important. This article views the Word of God primarily as an "event" Biblical, systematic, liturgical, pastoral and ecumenical approaches are employed to discuss different dimensions of the Word of God as an event of a communication between God and the people of God.
