Abstract

This research is quantitative and aims to determine the impact of problem-solving skills and student self-efficacy on academic performance across various skill concentrations at SMK Negeri 1 Semen, Kediri Regency. The study focused on the subjects of Accounting (AKL), motorcycle engineering and business (TBSM), automotive light vehicle engineering (TKRO), and computer and network engineering (TKJ). Data collection involved questionnaires for assessing problem-solving skills and self-efficacy, while academic performance was measured through tests. The study included 185 students from all specialization concentrations at SMK Negeri 1 Semen, Kediri Regency. Data analysis utilized t-tests (partial test), f-tests (simultaneous test), and r2-tests or coefficient of determination tests. The research findings indicated that the significance level of the partial test for problem-solving skills was .002 < .050 and for self-efficacy was .003 < .050. The f-test revealed a significance value of .000 < .050. The results suggest that problem solving skills and self-efficacy significantly impact student academic performance across all skill concentrations, both individually and collectively.

Abstract

Lithium-ion batteries have become one of the top choices for efficient and environmentally friendly mobility in today's era. Batteries play an important role in our digital lifestyles, from smartphones to electric cars. The use of this battery is inseparable from the challenge of estimating the State of Charge (SOC), which is a key parameter to monitor the availability of energy remaining in the battery. Therefore, an accurate SOC Estimation method is needed, which is important for efficient energy management and safe battery use. The Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model was chosen because of its ability to handle complex time series data and nonlier patterns in battery performance. This study provides the application of LSTM for SoC estimation and shows that LSTM is superior to the Feed Neural Network (FNN) method as evidenced by the simulation results that show that the LSTM model produces an RMSE of 4.92%, while the FNN model produces an RMSE of 7.82. From all the tests that have been carried out, the best RMSE value of 3.53% was obtained at a temperature of 25°C epoch 100.

Abstract

Research on the profile of scientific literacy was conducted on grade IV students at SDN Kademangan 05, Blitar Regency.  The approach taken is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods using interviews and observation. Data analysis with triangulation and member checking. The research results show that the Science Literacy Profile at SDN Kademangan 05 Blitar Regency based on the science literacy component has three aspects and eight indicators of achievement.  First, the aspect of identifying scientific issues: with indicators that students can do, such as students starting to be able to recognize issues that can be investigated scientifically, students starting to be able to identify keywords to search for scientific information, students starting to be able to mention the steps of scientific investigation; Second, the aspect of explaining phenomena scientifically, with indicators that students can do. Students begin to be able to apply scientific knowledge. Students begin to be able to provide explanations related to scientific phenomena. Third, the aspect of using scientific evidence, with indicators that students can use. Students begin to be able to draw conclusions based on the interpretation of the data presented. Students begin to be able to identify long-term consequences related to the development of science. The limitations of this research only look at it with a qualitative approach so that in the future research is needed to quantitatively evaluate the literacy skills of students at SDN Kademangan 05 Blitar Regency.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated educational technology is an opportunity, especially in the world of education, because it can be utilized in the learning process in the form of interactive learning media in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and TBTQ (Complete Reading and Writing Al-Qur'an). This research aims to develop media in the form of an Android application to improve students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an at elementary school level. This research method uses a development research approach with a 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, it was found that media testing by media experts obtained a score of 93.75%, material experts 100%, learning experts 97.43%. The results of the limited test at SD N Pandanpuro 2 obtained a score of 88.06%. The field test results at SD N Purworejo were 77.37%, SD N Kaliurang 1 was 79.85%, and SD N Banteng was 83.92%. From the overall test results it can be said that the application developed is in the feasible category for implementation.

Abstract

The WebGis-based water quality information system is designed to facilitate more effective monitoring, management, and storage of water quality data for government agencies and the public. The main objective of this system is to build an information platform on water quality conditions across various regions, making it easier for government agencies to make decisions regarding water quality management and mitigating potential environmental risks. This study analyzed water quality using the Pollution Index (PI) method in the Seputih Sekampung River Basin from 2019 to 2023. The results of the water quality calculations showed that the decline in water quality was predominantly caused by human activities, particularly high levels of E. coli or Total Coliform. This decline was also consistent with changes in land cover in the area. The system development was carried out using the prototyping method and tested using User Acceptance Testing. The study results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing water resource data in Lampung Province and presenting this information to users through a WebGIS interface. Through data integration, it is expected that efforts to protect water quality resources will become more optimal and sustainable.
