Jurnal Ilmiah Methonomi adalah jurnal ilmiah resmi Program Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Methodist Indonesia untuk menyajikan tulisan ilmiah dari empat konsentrasi ilmu pada program studi manajemen yaitu manajemen keuangan , manajemen pemasaran, manajemen sumber daya manusia, dan manajemen operasi. Methonomi juga menjadi wahana komunikasi ilmiah diantara dosen di lingkungan Universitas Methodist Indonesia dan dari Universitas atau Lembaga Penelitian lain yang ingin menyumbangkan karya ilmiah bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and corporate culture on employee performance at Taman Simalem Resort. The number of samples in this study were 70 people. The results showed that partially there was a positive and significant influence between work environment on employee performance, corporate culture partially had a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance and simultaneously work environment and corporate culture had a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at Taman Simalem Resort with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.025, which means that the work environment and corporate culture have an effect on the performance of employees at Taman Simalem Resort amounting to 2.5%, while the remaining 97.5% is influenced by other variables not researched.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of working system, working procedures, job desk for employees on the productivity of employees in PT. Infinite Global Oto Cabang Medan of partial and simultaneous. Employee productivity decline marked by not reaching its sales target set by the working system caused by inadequate and procedures of work and job desk employee. Population is 70 employees and in the study were included in the study were 70 employees. The methodology use multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study working system and procedure of a work as a partial did not affect productivity employees in PT Infinite Global Oto Cabang Medan. Job desk in partial influence employee productivity in PT. Infinite Global Oto Cabang Medan. Working system, working procedures and job desk job simultaneously influences employee productivity.

Abstract

Customers are one of the main components in every business activity, where business actors have a duty to create consumer loyalty which aims to increase company revenue. Consumer loyalty can be influenced by circumstances that give rise to benefits after using it, so that business actors need to create a safe environment and optimal service so that customers feel interested and comfortable when making transactions. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality on consumer loyalty at PT. POS Indonesia, Medan. The sample size is 97 respondents. The method of analysis in this study is to use a simple linear regression model. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia with a value of Fcount of 255,702 > Ftable of 3.04 and a value of t-count of 15,991 is greater than the t-table (1,623). Changes in consumer loyalty can be explained by changes in service quality variables of 72.90%, while the remaining 27.10% is explained by other variables that are not included as variables in the study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana harga saham dapat dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, likuiditas pertumbuhan perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan dan nilai tukar rupiah. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif. Populasi sebanyak 9 perusahaan farmasi dan sampel diperoleh 7 perusahaan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode data yaitu model regresi linier berganda dimana dapat dibuktikan bahwa hanya profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap harga saham. Selain itu likuiditas, pertumbuhan perusahaan dan nilai tukar rupiah tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham. Sementara profitabilitas, likuiditas, pertumbuhan perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan dan nilai tukar rupiah juga memberikan efek pada harga saham. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 51,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 48,2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the contribution of interpersonal communication, organizational climate on employees’ performance through work motivations. The population in this study were all employees totaling 118 people. Sampling techniques using the Slovin formula and obtained as many as 91 employees. Variable this research consisting interpersonal communication, organizational climate, work motivation, employees’ performance. Data collection methods used were questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis using SPSS 24. The results of the study states that contribution variable interpersonal communication, organizational climate, work motivation to explain employees performance variables is 57. 3 %. The results of research indirect effect on employees’ performance through work motivation showed organizational climate are not supported, but interpersonal communication supported. The results showed also that work motivation is a partial mediating variables on the influence of interpersonal communication and organizational climate on employee performance. This research is expected to be beneficial for PT.  MSL improve employees’ performance.

Abstract

Capital market is an economic activity that trades securities according to investment, namely stocks, bonds and mutual funds. The capital market was developed in order to accommodate the needs of people in Indonesia who wish to invest in capital market products. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the interest of Medan students in investing in the capital market. The sample in this study is Medan students who want to invest and try to invest in the capital market, with a sample of 122 students with the sampling method used is purposive sampling with the Slovin formula. The dependent variable in this study is interest and the independent variables in this study are minimum investment capital, perceived return, perceived risk, investment benefits and motivation. The research method used is a quantitative method with primary data obtained from questionnaire data measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The research data was collected using a questionnaire which was then processed using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results obtained from this study are the perceived investment benefits variable (X1) and perceived return (X2) have less effect on student interest in investing, while the Self efficacy variable (X3) and knowledge of investment (X4) affect the interest of field students in investing in the capital market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of work discipline, communication and competence on employee performance at PT. Capella Medan Daihatsu. Researchers took the population in this study as many as 230 employees. The number of samples in this study were 107 employees. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The results showed that simultaneously work discipline, communication and competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Capella Medan Daihatsu and partially work discipline, communication and competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Capella Medan. Daihatsu.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis laporan keuangan melalui rasio likuiditas, rasio solvabilitas dan rasio aktivitas dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan tahun 2019 terhadap profitabilitas pada PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan memiliki tingkat likuiditas kurang baik (ilikuid). Mayoritas hasil rasio likuiditas yang mengalami peningkatan maupun penurunan berdampak terhadap tingkat rasio profitabilitas (tingkat perolehan laba) PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan. PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan, memiliki kemampuan untuk membiayai seluruh hutang melalui jumlah aktiva yang dimilikinya. Mayoritas hasil rasio solvabilitas yang mengalami peningkatan maupun penurunan berdampak terhadap tingkat rasio profitabilitas (tingkat perolehan laba) PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan. PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan, memiliki jumlah penjualan relatif lebih rendah dibanding aktiva yang menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan kurang efisien menggunakan aktiva dalam menghasilkan penjualan. Mayoritas hasil rasio aktivitas yang mengalami peningkatan maupun penurunan berdampak terhadap tingkat rasio profitabilitas (tingkat perolehan laba) PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT. Jaya Mandiri Bangunan Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 139 karyawan dan sampel berjumlah 94 karyawan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif.  Pengujian hipotesis secara parsial diperoleh hasil bahwa kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan pelatihan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT. Jaya Mandiri Bangunan Medan. Hasil pengujian secara simultan diperoleh nilai Fhitung (16,157) > Ftabel (2,71) dan probabilitas signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, berarti bahwa Ha diterima dam Ho ditolak sehingga secara simultan kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja dan pelatihan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT. Jaya Mandiri Bangunan Medan.
