This research is field research is a social research in education. This research is categorized as survey research (Research Survey) where researchers do not make special treatment to respondents, researchers only distribute questionnaires to respondents. Furthermore, respondents were asked to fill in accordance with what they felt for the statement on the questionnaire. The population in this study were junior high school students in the cities of Depok and Bogor, while the sample in this study were several junior high school students in Depok and Bogor cities consisting of 427 students. Data are analyzed using structural equation models (structural equation models) known as LISREL. The analysis to be carried out in this study is path analysis. The results of this study indicate: (1) parenting directly influences religious awareness, (2) parenting directly influences the impact of social media use, (3) students' perceptions of the role of teachers in schools do not directly influence religious awareness , (4) students' perceptions of the role of teachers in schools directly influence the impact of social media users (5) religious awareness directly influences the impact of social media users.

Abstract

This research is entitled, The Influence of Cooperative Learning Models Type Bamboo Dancing Against Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Sciences Subjects in Primary Schools. This study aims to describe the implementation and influence of the cooperative model type bamboo dancing on improving student learning outcomes in social science subjects. The research problem formulation was formulated as "Is there any influence of cooperative learning model type bamboo dancing on student learning outcomes on social science subjects in elementary school?" The research method used was an experiment with the nature of quantitative research. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study were students of the Public elementary School Mandalawangi district Cipatat West Bandung District. The research instrument uses observation sheets and test questions. The results of the test research data show that there is an increase in learning outcomes of students in social studies learning in elementary schools with the use of a cooperative type type bamboo dancing, can be seen from the results of the t-test on the sig (2-tailed) section showing differences in learning outcomes of students in post- the test obtained 0,000 this shows 0,000 <0,05, then H0 is rejected means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class there are differences after treatment. This difference suggests that the experimental class is superior and better the results can be seen through the average social studies learning outcomes of students in the experimental class using bamboo dancing models. Based on the proof of the hypothesis that reads "there is a significant influence on cooperative learning models of bamboo dancing type on the learning outcomes of students on social science subjects in elementary schools", the H1 hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Learning to write in elementary school is currently not getting serious attention. This results in the poor quality of students' narrative writing. This study aims to determine the effect of experiential learning models on the narrative writing skills of elementary school students. The method used is a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was the fourth-grade students at the UPI Lab school Elementary School, amounting to 47 students and divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental class posttest and the control class. From these results, it can be concluded that the experiential learning model significantly influences the narrative writing skills of elementary school students. Thus students get meaningful learning and teachers get alternative learning to write for students to create meaningful learning with analytical assessment in the form of content, content, information, grammar, and mechanical organization.

Abstract

Quality of learning by teachers nowadays, have not became a serious focus of interest. As the result, the quality of the graduate student is at low rate. The purpose of this research is to develop and apply Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) for the Injob Primary School Professional Educational Teacher Program (PPG dalam jabatan). The methods applied on the study were combination of qualitative and quantitative and R&D by 4D outline modification, they are; define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of the study are 42 students of The Student of the Injob Teacher of Professional Educational Program which divided into two class of control and experiments each within 21 students. The result of the study is a TPACK model base on literacy and high order thinking skill with significance of the pretest and  posttest achievement at 0.001, which indicates that literacy base TPACK  model and  high order thinking skill effects to the quality of the Injob Teacher Professional Educational Program learning as the student experience Literacy base TPACK  model and high order thinking skill learning.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe integrated learning as a learning approach, which is suggested to be applied in order to develop multiliteration and higher order thinking skills. Multiliteration and higher order thinking skills are needed and must be mastered by the community so that they can actively participate in the 21st century civilization. In this context, education or in its operation is learning to be challenged to be able to develop skills. Based on the literature study, it was concluded that to develop multiliteration and higher order thinking skills, one approach that needs to be applied is the integrated learning approach. There are two things that need to be considered in the application of integrated learning. First, the teacher should formulate learning objectives to develop cognitive process skills at levels C2 through C6. Second, in implementing integrated learning, the teacher ideally applies learning models such as: discover, inquiry, problem based learning, project based learning, cooperative learning models, etc.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe multiliteration and higher order thinking skills (HOTS) as challenges for 21st century society, as well as their implications to education. 21st century civilization has triggered the development of the meaning of literacy into multiliteration, and requires the public to have cognitive process skills that are classified as higher order thinking skills. Based on analysis of implications, multiliteration and higher order ranking skills have implications to education. Especially in developing thinking process skills, the purpose of education should be directed at developing cognitive process skills at levels C2 through C6. The curriculum is ideally holistic, integrative, child centered and activity centered. The learning approach is student-centered and applies heuristic strategies. In its implementation, it is necessary to apply various models and/or learning methods that require students to do problem solving, think creatively, and cooperate. The teacher acts as a guide and facilitator rather than as an instructor. 21st century teachers ideally have characteristics: permissive, friendly, a guide, open-minded, enthusiastic, creative, socially aware, alert, patient, cooperative and sincere.

However, a survey conducted by NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employeers) in 2017 indicated that as many as 67.5% of the students have low communication skills. Lack of communication skills can affect the ability to process information, the difficulty of integrating the mind and speech, and difficulty in adapting to the environment (Wood & Hartshorne, 2017, p. 1). Communicative approach into one of the efforts to overcome the lack of communication skills and the results have been tested and the effect is quite good. In addition to the communicative approach, mastery of literacy is supposed to be the solution to the problems of communication skills. This study aims to assess the role of literacy to the development of communication skills of students. Review of the literature used as a method in this study with published sources such as books, journals, or the information in the newspaper. Mastery of literacy demonstrated proficiency of each individual. Therefore, literacy is seen as an instrument that can be used to obtain and communicate information.
