Abstract

Students are studying subjects that are required to play an active role in learning activities. The way that can be done to enable such students through the implementation of cooperative learning model, one of which is TPS. TPS application of cooperative learning in the learning of chemistry can stimulate students to express opinions or ideas, mutual cooperation, respect the opinions of others, helping to solve problems and develop students' creativity. Active student involvement in learning will lead to learning motivation that will have an impact on the improvement of learning outcomes

Abstract

This paper intends to give an idea of the importance of teaching the faith practiced in everyday life. Parents as primary educators in the family not only provide adequate nutrition, food clothing only to children, but also meet the spiritual aspect as a spiritual need. Therefore, this study examines the efforts of parents in fostering the religious life of the child in the Peudada sub-district. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative approach, with research subject five people that is parent active in majilis activity. Technique of data collecting through deep interview, observation and documentation. While data analysis is done by presenting data in the form of a systematic narrative. The results showed that the form of fostering of faith conducted by parents against adolescents is 1) fostering teenagers to believe in God 2) inculcate the spirit of solemnity in worshiping God, 3) inculcate the spirit of feeling watched by God.

Abstract

Degradation of Methanil yellow has been done. In this research the degradation process was done by sunlighting and using TiO2-SnO2 catalysis. The residu of methanil yellow was centrifuged and measured by UV/Vis Spectrophotometer at 300 – 600 nm after degradation. 6 mg/L of Methanil yellow and addition of 0,03 g TiO2-SnO2 for 150 min, gave the percentage of degradation 98,413% after lighted by sun with 1,13256 1015 foton cm-2/s intensity.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes , and knowing the students' response to the application of Advance Organizer on Atomic Structure material . Subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 11 IA3 Banda Aceh , totaling 26 people . This type of research is descriptive qualitative . To find out improving student learning outcomes used about posttest , and the questionnaire used to determine students' response to the learning model Advance Organizer . From the results obtained posttest student learning outcomes at 83.65 ; as well as the students' responses by 96.15 % who expressed delight in learning model Advance Organizer . Based on the results of this study concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes and positive student responses show the learning progress of students with learning model Advance Organizerpada use of the atomic structure of matter.

Abstract

Learning is a process of a person in gaining skills, learning skills and attitudes so that it does not come just like that, but it must be carried out deliberately in a certain time anyway. While the study results are around the skills and the results achieved through the learning process in universities and designated with the numbers measured by tests of learning outcomes. In regard to interest a person against an object reflected in the behavior. In the case of interest is motivated by a person's attention to a particular object of interest, such as attention, curiosity is high, and the need for decisive for the selection of the object of his favorite things. Interest that is an element in achieving success for someone. If someone is interested in social studies, all the attention, curiosity, and the need to subject Soasial Sciences, will be higher, so the higher the learning outcomes of subjects who achieved Sciences, Soasial entered. Turns impacted student interest in learning and have a positive influence on the achievement of learning outcomes Sciences, Soasial subjects. The higher the interest of students in learning subjects of Sciences, Soasial, the higher the learning outcomes of subjects Sciences, Soasial achieved. Conversely the lower the student's interest in learning subjects of Sciences, Soasial, then the lower the learning outcomes of subjects who achieved Sciences, Social.

Abstract

Islam requires its adherents to study and develop science. Human knowledge continues to evolve with the times and the discovery of the secrets of nature. The Qur'an applies to all ages, even many things that can not be understood by man today, as many things also have begun to be understood over the course of time. All human beings have an interest in knowing the basics of natural science, because starting from the oxygen gas to breathe, the food and the necessary medicines, the environment and the natural disasters all are related to the natural sciences. Without the power of science how can humans can understand the universe to see the greatness of Allah swt. Therefore, the increase of human resources in Islamic society becomes a necessity.

Abstract

Chemistry subject is one of difficult subject considered by high school students. The difficulty of studying chemistry was related to the characteristics of chemistry it self Chemistry is abstract. So, in the learning process teachers should use a good and an optimal learning resources. One of learning resources that can be used is learning module. In developing learning modules, teacher can relate the subject with the science of religion. So that, besides getting knowledge about chemistry, the students can also increase the insight of religion Islam. Because of the position of education growing the value of religion, occupies a very important place. The arm of this research was to know the design of module and the eligibility of learning chemistry module based Al-qur'an and student learning result by using chemistry learning module based on Al-qur'an at SMAN 1 Aceh Barat Daya. The populations of this study were students at of X MIA in SMAN 1 Aceh Barat Daya which consist of 5 classes i.e. 150 students. While, the samples of this study were students of X MIA-3 which were consist of 24 students. This study was Research and Development (R&D). According to Borg & Gall development research was a process which used to develop and validate educational products. The techniques of Data collection was used validation sheet techniques, trials, questionnaires and giving multiple-choice test. The validation, trial, test and questionnaire result were analyzed by using percentage technique. The results showed that the percentage of validation results refers to very interesting / worthy to use that was equivalent to 85.45% and in the trial module got percentage of 93,33% and percentage of student responses included into interested criterion that was 87,91% for answer "yes" while 12.9% for answer "no" from the percentage of the chemistry module learning atomic structure materials based A-qur’an well-intentioned to use in SMAN 1 Aceh Barat Daya.

Abstract

The efforts to increase the student learning motivation was become a part of all importance in our studies. The studies activity was not signifinificant if only depend on main book, modul or another subject as atribute of student sucsefully. Learning models will be significanly good if a lecture could be sourch to increase of motivation student learning and found what his needed. Motivation activity will be forces every body to know somethings needed for him self. The student movation caused staying in intrinsics dan extrinsics models. The arm of this research was to determine the aplication effect of problem solving learning model in stoichiometry to increase the students motivation. Is the type/of this research was action research with pretest-posttest group design. The researching sample was given treatment by problem solving learning model. The data collection were done by a pretest and postest of learning motivation by questionnaire test for every circle. The data processed by t-test for different test between pretest and posttes. This research study conducted in Education Chemical Studies Program, of FTK UIN Ar-Raniry. The results activities and learning students motivation shown that the totals average scores increased from 2,583 into 3,25 and totals average learning students motivation of N-gain score from 0,38 to 0,76 included of “good” and “high” category. By problem solving, model can be increase the student learning movitation and passion when solving each problem in stoichiometry subject.

Abstract

Chemistry teaches student to understand the chemistry concepts and the interrelated applications in everyday life as well as for technological advancement, its namely student using the centered learning (student centered). This study raises the problem whether through cooperative learning of Snowball Throwing type can improve student learning outcomes on Hydrocarbon material and how student activity in learning activities. This research was a classroom action research. Research settings consist of place, time research and action reasearch cycle, which became the subject of research was the students of class XI MIA 3 which consisted of 31 students. To know the influence of the application of cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing type was by observation on student activity from questionnaire. Data obtained from the observation of the activity of students and teachers reached the categories of good and very good based on predetermined criteria. From the first cycle the test result obtained 67,74%, in second cycle the test result increased by 87,1%, and the final test was obtained 96,77%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of Snowball Throwing type in Hydrocarbon material of class XI MIA 3 MAN 1 Aceh Besar can improve the learning result and the student activity.
