Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the contribution of Economic Mathematics in learning Microeconomic Theory in the Economics Education Study Program of Jambi University. The research was conducted using the exposed pacto method. Data obtained from student learning outcomes and analyzed using Path Analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that the competence of Economic Mathematics has a very significant contribution in learning Micro Economic Theory and is a mediator of the relationship between learning Introduction to Economics and learning Micro Economics Theory. Studying Microeconomic Theory will be more effective if students understand the basic concepts of economics and are supported by the ability to analyze Mathematical Economics. Abstract

The Economics learning at MAN 2 Malang uses a direct instruction model with alearning approach scientific. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the direct instruction learning model was appropriate for teachers to use in the online learning process on student learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental method with one group design pretest and posttest. The sampling process uses saturated samples by means of non-probability sampling. This research was conducted in five meetings. The research subjects were students of class X IPS 3 MAN 2 Malang, totaling 22 people. From the results of the study obtained an average post-test result of 60.54> from the results of the pre-test an average of 50.45. There is an increase from the results of the pre-test to the results of the post-test. However, the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores has not yet reached the KKM. So, from the results of the research and analysis of the t test, it shows that the economic learning outcomes of students in class X IPS 3 Man 2 Malang after applying the direct instruction model are significantly incomplete. This is shown from the final test results obtained t count = 1.98 with degrees of freedom dk = n – 1 = 22 – 1 = 20, = 0.05 obtained t table = 1.72 so that t count < t table is 1, 98 < 2.08 then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p160

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in learning outcomes and to analyze the  effectiveness of the use of evaluation tools  on learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student in science class XI. The experiment research and nonequivalent control group design is used, with a population of 170 students with majors in Science. In selecting the sample, researcher uses purposive sampling technique with Science class XI 3 as the experimental class and Science class XI 4 as the control class, But the only difference in the experimental class is given as additional evaluation tools. This study uses hypothetical test of pre-test value and post-test with One Way Anova. Based on these results,  in the use of evaluation tools there was no significant difference in student learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student ins science class XI and the use of evaluation tools had effectiveness as a support for improving learning outcomes with State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student ins science class XI.DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p116

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial management of education funds carried out by chicken farm workers. The data in this study were collected using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the financial management of children's education funds carried out by livestock workers was classified as poor. This is due to a lack of basic knowledge about finance, which is still classified as non literate. So that long-term needs such as children's education are not planned properly, the financing of children's education is carried out spontaneously without being prepared in advance. Abstract

  Economic learning cooperative material in class X SMA often leads to confusion and foreign effects on students, because there is no "real" cooperative around them. The concept of a populist economy that is carried by cooperative is like untouched, idealism that is not easily understood, students do not understand what the noble ideals of cooperative are to be present in society. This is exacerbated by the conditions of learning in the pandemic era. Despite the difficulties, it is undeniable that digital technology-based learning makes students stronger to bear the name Z generation who are accustomed to the internet and technological sophistication. Digital Storytelling (DS) comes with the concept of digital story, easy access, and it is hoped that it will be easier to digest by students who are familiar with cyberspace and digitization in various fields. The research uses the literature study method by examining research results, written data and documents related to project-based learning, cooperative and digital storytelling. Based on these studies, it is known that the use of DS in cooperative learning  materials is very possible because DS is able to illustrate abstract concepts to be more real, build 21st century skills, increase learning effectiveness and efficiency, train communication and collaboration and increase student learning motivation. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p97

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of financial attitudes and self-control on financial management of undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang  Class 2018. The type of research used is quantitative explanatory. The sample used was 100 of 133 undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang obtained through the slovin formula. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS 25.00 for windows. Based on the analysis of the results as follows: 1) financial attitudes have a partial effect on the financial management of S1 students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang  , Class of 2018, 2) self-control partially affects the financial management of students of Economics, Universitas Negeri Malang, Class of 2018, 3) Financial attitudes and self-control simultaneously affect the financial management of undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang Class of 2018

Abstract

Human Resource Development (HR) is part of the process and objectives of Indonesia's economic development. Therefore, strategic steps are needed in realizing education as one of the pillars in realizing quality human resources. The purpose of this research is to design and build innovative learning media that is integrated with ubiquitos learning through artificial intelligence technology by utilizing Chatbot application features that can be used. for learning economic education. This research consists of three main stages, namely (1). Preliminary study by conducting theoretical and field agreements so as to be able to formulate needs in the preparation of the platform. (2). The second stage begins with product planning by providing product differentiation in the form of chatbots and daily intensive courses which then develops into a Learning Management System in the initial form of the product. (3). The activity required at this stage is the first trial by experts to validate the material and media. The results of this study are in the form of a platform developed in the form of text, animation, and video by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology on chatbot application features that are tailored to the needs and stages of student learning in economics subjects that have been implemented in the Integrated Learning Management System. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p179

Abstract

The consumption pattern is the proportion of the total expenditure of an individual in meeting a need. The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants of consumtion pattern of students majoring in social Studies at Senior High School in Ogan Komering Ilir regency with financial literacy as intervening variable. The population of this study is senior high school students in Ogan Komering Ilir regency, totaling 5281 students. The sample size in the study used the Slovin formula, which was obtained by 372 students. The sampling technique was carried out by Cluster Random Sampling. The data collection method is in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, path analysis, and Sobel tests. The results showed that (1) peer group had a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns, (2) the role of the family had a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns, (3) religiosity had a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns, (4) financial literacy had a positive and significant effect. on consumption patterns, (5) peer group have a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns through financial literacy, (6) the role of the family has a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns through financial literacy, (7) religiosity has a positive and significant effect on consumption patterns through financial literacy, (8) the role of the family has a positive and significant effect on peer group, and (9) the role of the family has a positive and significant effect on religiosity. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p145

Abstract

 This study aims to provide empirical evidence on what factors impact the development of soft skills in vocational school students who will become future national economic mobilizers. The focus of this research was to determine whether there is a distinction between the soft skills profile of vocational school graduates and the requirements of the workplace in the world. The variables consist of learning processes (X1), industrial training (X2), and student’s soft skills (Y).This research uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study is 130 students of  XII SMK Negeri 2 Blitar from Accounting and Financial Institution expertise program. Sampling is done by proportional random sampling technique. Data collection is done by using questionnaires. Technical data analysis uses multiple linear analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that: the learning process has a significant effect on students' soft skills, showing a significance value of 0.00 below ρ value of 0.05; and field practice had no significant effect on the student's soft skills, indicating a significance value of 0.357 above ρ value of 0.05. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v21i22021p129
