Abstract

Character education in Indonesia focuses not only on the understanding of the students conceptual and contextual, but also expected of the students were able to create and innovate appropriately. The implementation of character education in Government Elementary School, is expected to be a solution to social problems that occur in the community. The implementation of character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can be implemented in the areas of learning (learning activities), cultural development of the school, extracurricular activities, and daily activities at home.

Abstract

Character education for early childhood is highly recommended it. Early childhood is a golden age for children, that is 0-8 age. Tadzkirah model is a learning character model is derived from the theory of Islamic education. Tadzkirah abbreviation is exemplary, guidance, motivation, honesty, continuity, remind, repetition, organization, heart. Tadzkirah models are applied in teaching English character for early childhood, which is packaged in a game. English game character, such as, singing, storytelling, and games in early childhood provides a positive contribution in the development of childhood character, namely courtesy, responsibility, diligence, respect, sincerity.

Abstract

The implementation of character education curriculum in Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) applied in the planning and implementation of character education are integrated in the learning and school culture that is applied by all citizens of the school. Character education begins with educators as one of the success factors of value investment figure character is an educator who can be a role model. In addition, as the executor of character education curriculum, educators also play an important role in the preparation of learning programs characterized by integrating the values of characters in each learning activity. Teachers are also required to plan learning professional character, because the planning is exactly the first step of the preparation of educators foster the values of character the young generation of the nation.

Abstract

Character education in SD/MI is a process guide and inculcate noble values into the students SD/MI in order to be implemented in the behavior, toward Allah SWT, itself, others, and the environment as a whole. The Values of the character education were developed from four sources, namely : religion, Pancasila, culture, and national education goals. The implementation of the character education in SD/MI can be done through three ways, namely : to integrate with the subjects and local content, integrating through of self-development activities, and integrating through of the cultural school/ madrasah activity.

Abstract

The main and first character education for children is a family environment. Education of family is very important and a fundamental pillar of the character development of a child. The family as the smallest social unit in an educational environment and most major responsibility to educate their children. The education given by parents supposed to provide the basis for the education of children about the process of socialization and life in society. Good parenting will bring positive impacts to the child’s development as well should. The success of character formation these children is influenced by the type of parenting parents in educating children. Parents play an important role in shaping the interaction system that intimate and lasting characterized by personal loyalty, love and loving relationship. Variety type of parenting parents consists of four kinds. First, authoritative; Second, authoritarian; and Third, permissive; as well Recently, indifferent. Each of parenting is having an impact for children’s development. The best parenting in the formation of character is the type of authoritative parenting. This, due to that the type of authoritative parenting is characterized by parents who tend to assume equal rights and responsibilities of children than he did because in practice this type of authoritative parenting, parents give freedom and guidance to children.

Abstract

Karakter bangsamerupakankualitas perilaku kolektif kebangsaanyang khas baikyang tecermin dalam kesadaran, pemahaman, rasa, karsa, dan perilaku berbangsa dan bernegara sebagai hasil olah pikir, olah hati, olah rasa dan karsa, serta olah dari raga seseorang atau sekelompok orang. Karakter bangsa Indonesia haruslah berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, norma UUD 1945, keberagaman dengan prinsip Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, dan komitmen terhadap Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Sejak sebelum kemerdekaan karakter bangsa Indonesia telah dibangun oleh Soekarno melalui perjalanan sejarah perjuangan kemerdekaan hingga ditetapkan dalam sila-sila dari Pancasila. Arus globalisasi telah banyak mengakibatkan peengikisan nilai-nilai luhur tersebut dari bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of skill process in natural science and motivation of students learning toward of students’ creativity. The research method is survey method with correlation technical. The sample is 40 students with simple random technique. The skill process data of natural science is collected by test, while the data of students’ learning motivation and students’ creativity is collected in questionnaire form. The data analysis is done by regression and correlation analysis. The research result is shown that; 1) There is an influence of the skill process in natural science toward learning creativity. 2) There is influence of students learning motivation toward learning creativity. 3) There is an influence the skill process in natural science and students learning motivation together toward students’ creativity.

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan alat untuk berkomunikasi. Perkembangan bahasa bagi anak dimulai sejak bayi melalui pengalaman dan pertumbuhan bahasa. Pengembangan kemampuan berbahasa bagi anak usia dini bertujuan agar anak mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan lingkungannya. Ada empat keterampilan berbahasa yaitu menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Konteks pengembangan bahasa hendaknya juga meliputi empat keterampilan tersebut. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa meliputi kegiatan yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Anak usia dini mempunyai karakteritik yang unik. Dunia mereka adalah dunia bermain. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengembangan bahasa yang dilakukan harus menggunakan strategi yang sesuai dengan dunia mereka. Banyak media yang bisa membantu guru dan orang tua dalam pengembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Anak-anak sekarang bisa mendownload sendiri seperti lagu/nyanyian dan cerita anak-anak. Media ini sekarang sangat disenangi anak-anak. Orang tua tinggal membimbing agar hasilnya lebih maksimal.
