Abstract

Anura is an order in the Amphibian class consisting of frogs and toads. Anura is very important in the ecosystem, especially its role as part of the food chain. Anura's main role is to maintain the balance of the ecosystem and as a bioindicator agent for changing environmental conditions such as water pollution, habitat destruction, disease and parasites, and climate change. This research applies digital image processing technology which is expected to assist in detecting types of frogs based on color and texture. This research uses 5 types of frogs, namely kongkang gading, kongkang poison, striped trees, small trees and flying trees with 20 images of each type of frog. This research uses the color feature extraction methods such Color Moment and texture extraction GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurance Matrix), then classified using K-Star. The results of the K-Star performance evaluation to classify the 5 types of frogs obtained the Accuracy (Acc) value of 0.93, Precision (Prec) of 0.94, Recall (Rec) of 0.93 and F-measure of 0.93. So that the classification results of frog species on texture and color feature extraction using the GLCM method and the Color Moment with the K-Star classification method have high performance and can work well.

Abstract

Production process in a pharmaceutical industry must follow the guidelines stated in Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP). The production process has to be stopped if the temperature and the humidity of the production room do not meet the set point and a report about the caused has to be made. This research proposed a model of a temperature and humidity automatic control system based on Node MCU ESP32 and give the information to technicians continuously. With the php MyAdmin Web Server connection, data of temperature and humidity can be stored and monitored remotely using a smartphone or a computer. A DHT 11 sensor is used to detect temperature and humidity, a Peltier fan is used to control the room temperature and a dehumidifier is used to control the air humidity. The system controls C and D production class room according to CGMP for liquid drug type in a sterile room. The C class drug production room temperature range is set from 16ËšC to 25ËšC and the air humidity range is 45% to 55%. The D class drug production room temperature range is set 20ËšC to 27ËšC and the air humidity range is 40% to 60%. From the test results, it can be seen that the system can control room temperature and humidity automatically when there are disturbances as well as recording the time when the disturbances occur to complete the data reports during the drug production process.

Abstract

The new normal era requires all activities to be online, so that people use more public services. However, at the same time the level of complaints has increased, from the many complaints that have been received, it must be known, which one is the correct complaint according to the location of the incident or is it just an act of ignorant hands. So that a special strategy is needed, by utilizing technology to determine the location of the incident accu-rately. One of the implementations of complaint handling by the whistleblower is that the reporter uses a smartphone. This is the reason the researchers raised the application of geotagging techniques to find out complete location information and geofencing methods to determine whether a location is included in the scope of an area. Several experiments have been carried out to test the accuracy of the techniques that will be applied to this e-complaint system. With an accuracy of 96%, this geofencing technique is good enough to be applied. In addition, the geotagging technique using EXIF from a digital image is considered the most suitable to be applied in this system than other geotagging techniques.

Abstract

UD. Makmur Sejahtera as one of the largest distributors of daily necessities in Manokwari Papua has sales transaction data for each category of goods and types of goods. These data are still physically stored in the form of notes and have not been digitized so that they can be utilized optimally to help UD. Makmur Sejahtera increases sales. This research has the basic idea of using digital sales transaction data to find out which categories of goods have the most sales in a period of three months (July 2020 to September 2020) through the Extraction, Transformation, Loading (ETL) process based on Pentaho Data Integration, to then be stored in multi-dimensional data forms, categorized, and visualized using Tableau. The test results show that rice commodity is the category of goods with the most sales in a period of three months and the implementation of the Data Warehouse is very helpful for UD. Makmur Sejahtera in achieving its business goals.

Abstract

Smartphone technology can be applied not only to establish communication needs but also to support other purposes. One of them is related to personal safety and security functions. It is undeniable that criminal acts can occur anytime and anywhere. Even in a private or residential area, theft could happen. Smartphone and sensor technology can be used as a solution to encounter this problem. In this case, it can be utilized to improve the security control system of the gate or garage door at home. This research presents a prototype of a gate and garage door control and security system that operates through an application on an android smartphone. The application of HC-05 Bluetooth is used to send signals from the smartphone to the Arduino Uno microcontroller, while the micro servo acts as a locking mechanism on the gate itself. The buzzer function is presented to notify homeowners when the gate or garage door is open for more than 15 seconds. This prototype can control gates and garage doors with an average connection time of only about 5 seconds. Thus, this prototype is feasible to use as an alternative to control and improve housing security systems.

Abstract

Human health concerns are one of the important consequences of low air quality. The low air quality of each city will have long-term impacts such as global warming and anthropogenic greenhouse effects. Air quality usually occurs in areas that are in some parts of the country such as Kalimantan Island. As the third largest island in the world, Kalimantan can be said to be the lungs of the world like the haze problem that enveloped the city of Banjarmasin in 2019. This condition can result in high sufferers of Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ISPA). Decision making by stakeholders needs to be studied in depth to prevent this. One of the efforts that can be done is the air quality forecast that will occur. Data obtained from BMKG Banjarmasin is the initial material for the forecast. Air quality forecast will use Triple Exponential Smoothing with 2 types of modeling namely additive and multiplicative, so this study aims to conduct air quality forecasts in Banjarmasin City in 2021 and 2022 using Additive and Multiplicative Triple Exponential Smoothing. In forecasts using this method, weighting the constant values α, β, γ can result in small error values. To determine the accuracy comparison of the two modeling is done with an RMSE value. The results showed that air quality conditions in Banjarmasin during 2021 and 2022 for CO, O3, and PM pollutants were in the category of safe for human health, while for pollutants NO2 and SO2 were declared to have a high index so that air quality can harm the health of living things. In comparison, multiplicative modeling on CO forecasts (α= 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.149), NO2 (α = 0.5, β = 0.024, and γ = 0.022), and SO2 (α = 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.037) has high accuracy and small error values compared to additive modeling. In contrast, additive modeling in O3 (α = 0.5, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.06) and PM (α = 0.434, β = 0.001, and γ = 0.213) have high accuracy and low error values compared to multiplicative modeling. The conclusion obtained is the difference in forecast results between additive and multiplicative modeling on air quality forecasts in Banjarmasin because multiplicative modeling is used when there is a trend or sign that seasonal patterns depend on the size of the data. In other words, seasonal patterns enlarge as the data size increases. Additive models are used if this trend does not occur.

Abstract

The huge volume of data from the Disaster Management Planning and Control (P3B) surveyor team creates wide and varied problems that can consume system resources and processing time that is relatively long. There-fore, this study proposes a solution by performing query optimization on the TOPSIS method which is implemented in a decision support system to determine the level of post-disaster damage. Based on 3 trials with different amounts of data, the 1st trial used 114 data, the 2nd trial used 228 data and the 3rd trial used 334 data. In addition, for each trial, the response time measurement was repeated 3 times, so that the average response time of each step of the TOPSIS method was obtained. It was found that the results of the ranking stage using query optimization were 0.00076 faster than the non-optimization query. So, it can be concluded that the response time obtained by query optimization at each step of the TOPSIS method in the post-natural disaster sector damage decision support system is smaller than the response time in non-optimization queries.

Abstract

Energy access is still limited to several areas with the criteria of being remote, underdeveloped, outermost (3T). In addition, limitations still occur in areas considered less economical if an electrical system or network is built. Therefore, there is a need to implement solar panel technology that can improve the economy of the people in areas with these limitations. The objectives of this study are threefold. First, to design a beverage kiosk with a container booth concept where its energy needs are met using solar panels. Second, to analyze the energy con-sumption ratio between direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) electricity systems when used to meet the needs of the container booth. Third, to analyze the potential for reducing carbon emissions through the use of solar-powered container booths. This research was conducted by analyzing the initial energy requirements through a survey on existing container booth users. The system design is carried out and tests the energy produced by solar panels and the energy consumed for beverage processing. The total energy produced and the potentials for emission reduction were analyzed from each system's test data (DC and AC). The AC system has an efficiency of 21.11%, while the DC system has 19.08%. In terms of battery usage for one day of use, the AC system will reduce 12.03% of the battery while the DC system is 14.34%. The analysis shows that this solar-powered beverage kiosk can meet operational energy needs for two days and reduce emissions equivalent to 34.82 to 58.84 kg of CO2. This concept is expected to be an alternative for society.

Abstract

The use of standard AC and fluorescent lamps tends to be more wasteful. Based on observations, building C uses standard AC with a capacity that does not match the needs of the room and uses fluorescent lamps with minimal lighting intensity, so it is necessary to conserve energy to obtain opportunities for saving electrical energy while still paying attention to environmentally friendly aspects and occupant comfort. Electrical energy saving analysis is carried out through an energy audit by calculating the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE). The pur-pose of this study is to obtain opportunities for saving electrical energy through energy conservation. Calculation of IKE values in 2019 and 2020 in building C is in the efficient category. Opportunities to save energy are carried out by replacing standard AC with low watt AC or inverter AC, resulting in savings of 28% and 30,6% with payback periods of 2,9 years and 3,8 years. Turning off the AC 15 minutes and 30 minutes before the end of working hours resulted in savings of 2,8% and 5,7% on standard AC, 2,9% and 5,8% on low watt AC and inverter AC. Energy saving opportunities by replacing fluorescent lamps with LED lamps obtained savings of 16,28% with a payback period of 4,4 years and the lighting intensity has met SNI with lighting intensity of 358-421 lux in the working room and 315-361 lux in the meeting room.
