Abstract

The presence of Law No. 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking mandates Islamic banking in Indonesia; apart from carrying out fund collection and distribution activities, it also must manage social funds. This is one of the things that differentiates it from practices in conventional banks. This research aims to analyze the level of Efficiency of management of Islamic banking social funds in Indonesia and the factors that influence it using Two-Step Data Envelopment Window Analysis (DEWA) analysis based on the Scale Efficiency assumption in the first stage and the second stage using pooled Tobit regression applied to 9 Islamic banks throughout the 2018 – 2022 period. The result shows that the level of efficiency in managing social funds of Islamic banks in Indonesia shows an improving trend every year. Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on the social efficiency of Islamic banking. Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has no significant effect or does not have a natural effect on the social efficiency of Islamic banking. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a negative effect and is significant.

Abstract

Islamic economics is a relatively new discipline, even though its practice has been carried out along with the birth of Islam itself. Many people doubt the existence of Islamic economics, because so far in the general public there are only two mainstream economic systems known, namely capitalism and socialism. In addition, in Islamic society itself, Islamic economics is identified with muamalat fiqh. Muamalat fiqh in Islamic economics is placed in a very important position, because muamalat fiqh is the basis of theories in Islamic economics. The purpose of this research is to find out the philosophical review and juridical norms originating from the Al-Qur'an and al-Hadith regarding macro theory according to the perspective of Islamic law. The methodology of this article uses a literature study with descriptive analysis. Data were obtained from various books, research journals and online sources. The results of the research show that the instructions from the Qur'an and al-Hadith are not specifically divided into two groups, namely the macro and micro levels. However, the existence of juridical norms exists at every level of the Islamic economic system.

The Indonesian culinary business market is becoming increasingly competitive. Therefore, business owners need to understand the factors that influence consumers' repurchase intention. This research focuses on service quality, product variety, and islamic store atmosphere to understand their impact on value equity and repurchase intention. A quantitative approach was used for the study, with data collected through a survey of a sample of 200 consumers of SFA Steak & Resto Klodran. The data collection method was a questionnaire survey. Statistical analysis, including linear regression and mediation, was used to test the relationship between the variables under study. The results indicate service quality and product variety have a positive and significant effect on value equity, while the islamic store atmosphere has a positive but insignificant effect. Additionally, value equity has a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention. Value equity moderates the relationship between service quality and product variety with repurchase intention, but does not moderate the relationship between islamic store atmosphere and repurchase intention.

The results of the research are: 1) KSPPS plays a positive role in community welfare in various sectors: a) Trade Sector, financing is used for additional business capital and purchasing trade needs. b) Services Sector, used to purchase workshop equipment for motorbike and tire repair services, as well as food and drink services (catering). c) Household sector, used to renovate houses, finance education, purchase motorbikes and meet daily needs. 2) The obstacles faced by KSPPS Samara are: a) Constraints of limited liquidity, the high demand for loans exceeds KSPPS capabilities. b) Constraints in terms of risk level, many UMKM apply for loans and have a high level of risk. c) Lack of collateral or security, which creates doubt in making decisions about granting loans. d) technological and infrastructure limitations. These limitations can slow down the process of applying for financing, evaluating risks and completing transactions.

Abstract

The Sharia capital market in Indonesia has experienced significant growth in the number of transactions. However, the share prices of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index tends to decline. Therefore, the purposes of the research were to examine the factors influencing the share prices of 30 firms listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index from 2018 to 2022. These factors include leverage, profitability, and firm value. This research also explores the role of inflation as a moderating variable on the influence of leverage, profitability, and firm value. Multiple regression analysis using random-effect model is employed to analyze the effect of leverage, profitability, and firm value on share price and the role of inflation as a moderator. The analysis results show that firm value has a significant positive effect on share price. Meanwhile, leverage and profitability do not have a significant effect. Inflation can only moderate the influence of firm value on the share price. This research contributes to determining company policies regarding improving financial performance and as a reference for the government in determining macroeconomic policies.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the evolution of the role of al hisbah in the financial sector, especially the capital markets industry. Along with the times and the increasing complexity of today's government bureaucracy, the role of al hisbah has been formed differently in each country according to their respective needs. This research uses an exploratory qualitative method with secondary data. The research results show that the role of al hisbah is very complex, one of which is in the financial sector of the capital market to carry out supervision in order to protect investors from both external and internal risks. In this case, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) plays the role of al hisbah which coordinates with the National Sharia Council (DSN) to ensure transactions and activities in the Indonesian Islamic capital market are safe and healthy.
