Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of waqf management carried out at the Assyifa Islamic Boarding School and to analyze the productive waqf management strategy in an effort to improve the welfare of the students at the Assyifa Islamic Boarding School. This research is a field research, with a descriptive qualitative research type whose explanation uses a description of the problem being studied. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is to carry out the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and examination of research conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the management of productive waqf management at the Assyifa Islamic Boarding School resulted in good development, many changes were produced after the management of productive waqf. Management and development of productive waqf is still not optimal, among others, caused by nadzir who is less competent in managing and less capable in managing productive waqf. The management of productive waqf management is still not managed optimally, so it has not given a prominent effect that is so pronounced in the changes in improving the welfare of students.

Abstract

Poverty is still an ever-present challenge in the development of Indonesia’s economy, therefore the government continues to strive to reduce absolute poverty and inequality. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah (ZIS), economic growth, open unemployment and the Human Development Index (HDI) on the poverty rate in Aceh Province in 2018-2020. This study uses panel data regression analysis techniques. Based on testing, the best Fixed Effect Model (FEM) model is obtained. The estimation results show that economic growth has a significant and positive effect on poverty rate, and HDI has a significant and negative effect on poverty rate. While ZIS and open unemployment have no significant effect on poverty. Sufficient and high economic growth must be maintained since apart from being a measure of the success or decline of a region's development, it is also an indicator of people's welfare. Opportunities to increase employment must be continued by providing various kinds of training to the community and labour pool, to reduce the open unemployment rate

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the Effect of Flash Sale and Shopee's "Free Shipping" Tagline on Impulsive Online Buying with Muslim self-control as Moderating Variable. The object of this research is the students of the Islamic Economics and Business Faculty at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. This research is a quantitative research. The method used for sampling is using purposive sampling technique. In this study, data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 96 students of the Islamic Economics and Business Faculty, UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. The data analysis technique used is SmartPLS 3.3.9. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Flash sale has a positive effect on impulsive buying. 2) The tagline "free shipping" has a positive effect on impulsive buying. 3) Muslim self-control has a positive effect on impulsive buying. 4) Muslim self-control is not able to moderate the effect of flash sales on impulsive buying. 5) Muslim self-control is able to moderate the influence of the "free shipping" tagline on impulsive buying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact on the profitability of the Temporary Syirkah Fund in PT Bank Sumut Unit Usaha Syariah for the period 2017-2021 with funding risk as an intervening variable. In general, an increase in Temporary Syirkah Funds increases the return on investment and reduces funding risk. However, there are discrepancies with the presented theory due to the data obtained. Data are presented through normality and path analysis tests to analyze relationships between variables. The results of this study showed a significance test of 0.524 for the impact of temporary cirka funds on profitability. The significance test for the effect of Temporary Syirkah Funds on funding risk was 0.928. Both are more than 5% significant, meaning there is no significant effect on either variable. The direct effect value is higher than the indirect effect, indicating that the Syirkah Fund does not have a significant impact on direct funding risk through profitability. Based on the R-squared value, the variable's contribution to the funding risk of Temporary Syirkah Funds and Profitability is 0.9%. In contrast, the remaining 99.1% are contributed by other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

This research was written to find out the strategies used to increase priority customers at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Kcp Perbaungan. This study aims to look at the strategies, constraints, and their impact on increasing the number of priority customers. This type of research is a descriptive-qualitative method that focuses on in-depth observations, namely universal descriptions of form, function and meaning. The source of this research is the results of interviews with Priority Banking Officer staff of PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, which contains strategies and constraints on the marketing strategy. The research results obtained by the author are the marketing strategy carried out by Priority Banking Officer staff, namely carrying out a marketing mix strategy in the form of approaching customers who have criteria as priority customers, namely one of them has a minimum balance of Rp. 500 million, conducting word-of-mouth promotions, as well as promoting on social media, providing more special services than non-priority customers, regardless of race or creed and providing facilities to customers. The obstacle faced is competition between banks. The way to minimize obstacles is to approach, stay in touch, and provide education to customers. The strategy carried out has proven to have an effect on increasing the number of priority customers, it can be seen that in August and October 2022 there was an increase in the number of customers which was in line with the development of PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia, namely the number of priority customers, increased by 17.9% as of August compared to the previous period with a range of more than 50 thousand priority customers throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine product (X1), office location (X2), and service (X3) variables on consumer preferences (Y) in choosing BSI Morotai services. Using regression analysis method, the results shows that partially, only service variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on consumer preferences. Whereas product (X1) and environment (X2) variables have no significant effect on consumer preferences. The results also shows that simultaneously all the independent variables (X1, X2, and X3) significantly affect the dependent variable (Y). The implication of this study is that Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Morotai needs to improve their communication in line with the customs/culture of local community, while still maintain convenience and prompt service.

Abstract

The mushroom farming women who are members of the mushroom farming women's group in Taman Sari Village use most of the income derived from the mushroom business for consumption. This income depends on the number of baglogs of mushrooms, the more the number of baglogs, the greater the income. However, the number of baglog owned by this mushroom farmer woman has not increased from year to year and there are no mushroom derivative products. This study aims to determine the financial management of the mushroom business of women's mushroom farming groups so that the business can develop, avoid losses that may occur in the future, and earn the pleasure of Allah. This study uses qualitative methods with phenomenological analysis tools. The research location is limited to Taman Sari Village to obtain specific findings. The informant is a Muslim female mushroom farmer who is married and also works as a stone crusher. Mushroom farming women have not recorded the financial transactions of the mushroom business and only rely on memory. They have not separated business finances from family finances, and have not divided the money from selling mushrooms in a ratio that is in accordance with Islamic concepts.

Abstract

The utilization of zakat in minority Muslim areas is interesting to study. This study aims to explore a model of zakat utilization based on the needs of mustahik in Sorong district. The intended utilization model refers to the allocation of zakat funds given to mustahik. This research uses descriptive qualitative method through exploratory case studies. Data collection used an interview technique on officials receiving BAZNas assistance, Sorong district. The results of this study's data analysis show that the zakat utilization model implemented by BAZNas in Sorong district includes the taqwa district, caring district, smart district, healthy district, and prosperous district. Some of these programs have not run optimally because they are limited by the availability of collected zakat funds. The average total zakat fund collected per year is only 25 million, so it is not sufficient for the implementation of the overall program both based on requests and BAZNas initiatives. The small amount of zakat funds collected indicates a lack of community participation in fulfilling zakat mal and fitrah obligations in this area.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to determine the production process of BIOFIR bottled water in UD. Sumber Mubarokah Sidoarjois reviewed from the principles of Islamic production and the implementation of the Islamic economic system regarding the basic and instrumental values of Islamic economics. Research methods used in research conducted on UD. Sumber Mubarokah Sidoarjo uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a type of case study research on objects. The data collection techniques are through interviews with informants, both in person and online media, direct observation at the informant's place, documentation in the form of photos related to drinking water production business activities carried out by UD. Sumber Mubarokah Sidoarjo as complementary evidence in the research, and triangulation of the methods used by researchers to unearth the truth of business owner informants. The results of the research obtained in this study are the production process of BIOFIR bottled drinking water at UD. Sumber Mubarokah Sidoarjohas been quite good and meets the provisions of production in an Islamic manner. Other results show that islamic principles of production have been applied and the basic and instrumental values of Islamic economics have been applied to the factors of production. Abstract

The growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia since its inception until now has continued to increase, both in terms of performance and its contribution to national macroeconomic growth. This paper is structured to determine the contribution of Islamic Banking to the Indonesian economy at a macro level, particularly in the 2018-2022 period (July). The data used in this study is secondary data, namely Time Series data, which consists of Macroeconomic Variables and Islamic Banking SME Financing Growth. The data used is the total financing of SMEs by Islamic banks, the BI Rate or Bank Indonesia interest rate certificates (SBI) which reflect interest rates, and GDP (Gross Domestic Product). Data obtained from Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This analysis is also supported by literature studies from various journals, articles and other related literature. The performance of Islamic banking in 2018-2022 is in the healthy category. The average ROA is 1.6 percent, CAR is 22.32 percent, FDR is 75.39 percent, BOPO is 84.28 percent, NPF is 2.97 percent, and DPK is Rp. 323,418 billion with the highest value of Rp. 382,232 billion in July 2022 and the lowest is Rp. 257.606 billion in 2018.
