Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP N 2 Subah Batang terkendala dengan belum tersedianya buku IPA terpadu. Buku – buku yang selama ini dijumpai untuk dipakai dalam pembelajaran IPA belum IPA terpadu. Buku tersebut masih tersusun berdasarkan bab-bab yang tersendiri antara fisika, biologi dan kimia tanpa adanya keterpaduan di antara disiplin ilmu. Melalui modul IPA terpadu guru akan lebih mudah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan siswa akan lebih terbantu serta mudah dalam belajar secara mandiri. Metode Penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian dari validasi pakar pada kelayakan isi sebesar 79,2% dengan kriteria layak, kelayakan kebahasaan sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan kelayakan penyajian  sebesar 85,9% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Tanggapan guru terhadap modul sebesar 92,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan tanggapan siswa terhadap modul sebesar 97,3% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul IPA terpadu model webbed pada tema hama dan pestisida melalui tahapan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi, ujicoba skala besar, revisi  dan produksi akhir. Modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa. Integrated science learning in SMP N 2 Subah Batang is constrained by lack of a unified science books. Books that have been found to be used in science teaching is not integrated science. The book is still arranged by chapters that separate between physics, biology and chemistry without any integration among the disciplines. This research was aimed to develop an integrated webbed science module on the theme of pests and pesticides. Through an integrated science module, teachers will be easier to implement learning and students will be helped and easy to learn independently. The research method applied was the research and development (Research and Development). The results of the experts' validation study on the feasibility of the content was 79.16% categorized in a decent criteria, linguistic eligibility criteria was 95% in a very decent criteria and proper presentation was 85.93% in a very decent criteria. Teacher's response to the module was 92.50% in a very decent criteria and student responses to the module was 96.53% also in a very decent criteria. It can be concluded that the development of webbed integrative science module on the theme of pests and pesticides was started from the identification of potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, small-scale trials, revisions, large-scale trials, revision and final production. Modules developed fit for use as a source of student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development).Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII. Hasil penilaian pakar media dan materi terhadap alat peraga yang dikembangkan yaitu 97,78% dan 94,05%, tanggapan siswa mencapai 87,27%%, dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 84,38% yaitu 27 dari 32 siswa mencapai nilai KKM (75). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwaalat peraga pemanasan global berbahan bekas pakai yang dikembangkanlayak dan efektif digunakan. Hasil observasi menyatakan bahwa tingkat karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa berada pada tingkat mulai terlihat dengan persentase 57,47%. This research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the development global warming teaching aid, and to determine the level of environmental awareness character of students through the implementation of global warming teaching aid.. The research design applied in this research is a Research and Development (R&D).. The media and science material expert judgment result of science teachingaid was developed  reached997.78% and 94.05%, student responses reached 87.27% Based on the result analysis of learning, the classical completeness results was 27 students from 32 student. It conclude that the global warming teaching aid is very suitable to be used in science learning. The level of environmental awareness character assessed based on observation. Based on observation, students gain  character rate of 57.47%.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen self-assessment yang layak serta efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. Instrumen self-assessment terdiri atas kisi-kisi, angket dan petunjuk penyekoran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berupa data validitas konstruk instrumen self-assessment dan hasil belajar belajar peserta didik yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil rerata persentase validitas konstruksi instrumen self-assessment yaitu 92,67%, serta nilai koefisien reliabilitas instrumen self-assessment sebesar 0,765. Pada tahap implementasi instrumen self-assessment, diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 94% dan nilai koefisien korelasi product moment (r) sebesar 0,896 untuk aspek afektif dan 0,882 untuk aspek kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen self-assessment efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. The study aimed to develop  a viable and effective self-assessment instrument of integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life. Self-assessment instrument were consist of value indicators, self-assessment quesioners and rubrics. The method of this study was Research and Develompment (R&D). The research data were consisted of the construct validity and holistic learning achievements of student. All data were analyzed using descriptive technique percentage. The result showed that the product was very viable and could be used as an self-assessment instrument of science, an average score of viability was 92,76% and the reliability coefficient was 0,765. At implementation phase, the mastery learning was 94% and the number of corrrelations were 0,896 (afective aspect) and 0,882 (kognitive aspect). From these data concluded that self-assessment instrument effective applied to integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan CD interaktif IPA Terpadu tema kalor berbasis science edutainment untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur penelitian meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi produk 1, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk 2, uji coba skala penerapan dan produk akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan terhadap CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan layak dengan rerata skor validasi media tahap 1 sebesar 2,68, validasi media tahap 2 sebesar 2,85, validasi materi tahap 1 sebesar 2,53, dan validasi materi tahap 2 sebesar 2,97. Penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar dengan N-gain sebesar 0,58 dengan kriteria sedang, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat nilai dinilai thitung VII D = (13,712) > ttabel (1,66) dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Penerapan CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment juga meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada tiap pertemuan. Peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa menunjukkan penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan efektif.  This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Integrated Science interactive CD based on science edutainment with theme of heat to enhance the learning outcomes and the activeness of junior high school students. This research used of Research and Development (R & D) design. The procedure was the identification of potential research and issues, data submission, design product, validation design, design revisions, small-scale trials, product 1 revision, a large-scale trials, product 2 revision, implementation scale trials and the final product. Based on the results of the study it was found on that the feasibility of the interactive CD-based science edutainment showed eligible criteria based on the media validation with score of 2.68 for stage 1, stage 2 media validation of 2.85, material validation phase 1 of 2.53, and material validation phase 2 of 2.97. Based on implementation it was that an integrated science interactive CD-based science edutainment found the results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes with N-gain of 0.58 with the criterion being, while the calculation of the value found using the t test assessed tcount VII D = (13.712)> t table (1.66) considered a significant achievement. The application of science integrated interactive CD based science edutainment also increases the activity of students showed that each meeting. The improvement student of learning outcomes and on motivation showed that the application of integrated science interactive CD based science edutainment was effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektifitas alat evaluasi IPA terpadu berbasis keterampilan proses sains (KPS) tema mikroskop dan jaringan tumbuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penilaian tahap I alat evaluasi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 100%. Penilaian kelayakan alat evaluasi tahap II didapatkan rata-rata validasi komponen isi 4,00, komponen bahasa dan penyajian 3,95, dan komponen evaluasi 3,58. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal aspek KPS sebesar 87,5%, sedangkan penilaian aspek KPS pada ranah psikomotor didapatkan rata-rata aspek mengamati 3,51, aspek mengelompokkan 3,45, aspek mengkomunikasikan 3.43, dan aspek menyimpulkan 3,41.  Simpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah alat evaluasi IPA terpadu berbasis keterampilan proses sains dikatakan layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan kriteria BSNP dan efektif digunakan untuk  melakukan penilaian keterampilan proses sains siswa. Research aims to produce an assessment of Integreted Natural Science based on Science Process Skill theme Microscopes and Plant Tissues. The method used is the Research and Development or Research and development (R&D). The results showed that the phase I assessment get an average score of 100%. Feasibility assessment phase II obtained an average content of 4.00 validation component, the component language and  presentation of  3.95, 3.58 and component evaluation. Usege of assessment get the classical completenness 87.5% in cognitive learning outcomes. On the measurement result on the students’ science process skill for the use of test scores obtained 3.51, 3.45 classify aspects, aspects of communicating 3.43, 3.41 inferring aspects. Based of research, assessment based on science process skill is feasible based criteria of BSNP and effective used as an assessment to assess the students’science process skill theme microscope and plant tissues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kefektifan modul IPA terpadu tema perubahan zat berbasis discovery untuk meningkatkan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and development (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan 4 tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Development dan Implementation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelayakan terhadap modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery yang digunakan dinyatakan layak sesuai BNSP dengan rata-rata validasi komponen isi 3,81, kebahasaan 3,86 dan penyajian 3,73 dan kegrafikan 3,66. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal siswa pada kelas penerapan yaitu sebesar 80,26%, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat dinilai thitung = 265,97 > ttabel = 2,73 dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Selain itu penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery mampu meningkatkan keterampilan generik siswa pengamatan dan inferensi logika dengan N-gain sebesar 0,81 dan 0,66 pada taraf pencapaian tinggi dan sedang. Dengan demikian adanya peningkatan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukan penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery dinyatakan efektif. This study aims to determine how the feasibility and effectiveness of integrated science module theme changes based discovery agent to improve the generic skills and student learning outcomes. The method used is the Research and Development or Research and development (R&D). In this research, there are four stages is namely Define, Design, Development and Implementation. Based on the results of the study showed that the feasibility of the integrated science-based discovery module used BNSP declared eligible in accordance with the average content of 3.81 validation component, linguistic presentation of 3.73 and 3.86 of scene and 3.66 of graphic. Completeness results of classical study of 80.26 %, while the calculations obtained using the t test assessed tcount = 265.97 > ttable = 2.73 considered a significant achievement . In addition, the implementation of an integrated science-based discovery module can improve student generic skills of observation and inference logic with N - gain have 0,81 and 0,66 on a high standard of achievement and being. Thus an increase in generic skills and student learning outcomes demonstrate the application of integrated science -based discovery module is declared effect .

Abstract

Pendekatan SETS merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyajikan keterkaitan sains, lingkungan, teknologi dan masyarakat dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya ke dalam tema sains. Pendekatan ini memiliki karakteristik mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif yang secara tidak langsung juga menumbuhkan nilai sikap/karakter kepada siswa. Internalisasi nilai karakter dan aktivitas dalam pembelajaran dapat diwujudkan dengan kegiatan kelompok yang memungkinkan siswa untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi, salah satunya dengan implementasi media pembelajaran game ular tangga bervisi SETS bermuatan karakter. Media pembelajaran ini berbasis game edukatif dengan adopsi permainan tradisional ular tangga yang dirancang berdasarkan metode research and development (r & d). Hasil penilaian pakar menunjukkan media game ular tangga telah layak uji pakar materi maupun media dengan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan oleh pakar materi sebesar 94,24% dan pakar media sebesar 94,64%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif yang dibuktikan dari adanya perbedaan rata-rata pemahaman siswa melalui uji t dan peningkatan rata-rata (gain) sebesar 0,5 (sedang). Media pembelajaran ini juga mampu meningkatkan aktivitas serta karakter jujur dan bersahabat/komunikatif siswa. SETS approach offers the connections between science, environment, technology and society also their effects to science themes. The characteristic of this approach is the capability to encourage student’s activities indirectly and encourage their characters building. The internalization of character values and students’ activities in learning activities could realize on group activities that enable students to interact more, one of the ways is the implementation of snake and ladder learning media with SETS perspective and containing character values. The basic of this learning media is educative game that adopts a traditional game snake and ladder which designed according to research and development (r & d) method. Experts judgements showed that snake and ladder media was feasible. Both material and media validators gave judgement of very feasible criteria, material validator gave 94,24% and media validator gave 94,64%. The result of this study shows that the media brings positive effects on student’s cognitive outcome showed by students’ average understanding concept difference based on t test result and average understanding improvement (gain) in the amount of 0,5 (moderate). This media also can increase activities and honest-friendly/communicative characters.

Abstract

Hasil Observasi di MTs NU Hasyim Asy’ari 03 Kudusditemukan bahwa pembelajaran IPA sudah diterapkan secara terpadu, namun perangkat penunjang pembelajaran (LKS) belum terpadu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS IPA terpadu berbasis learning cycle “4E” dan  pengaruh penggunaan LKS terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan inferensi logika siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R and D).Pada penelitian ini, produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh pakar desain LKS dan pakar materi kemudian dilakukan pengujian skala kecil, skala besar dan penerapan.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah data hasil validasi produk oleh pakar, angket respon siswa, observasi keterampilan siswa, dan data hasil belajar siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA berbasis learning cycle “4E”termasuk dalam kriteria layak dengan persentase rata-rata skor ≥ 81% pada penilaian kelayakan desain dan materi.Pada uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan perolehanN-gain 0,67 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa adalah 100% dengan KKM ≥ 70. LKS IPA juga mampu membekali keterampilan inferensi logika siswa dengan perolehan N-gain 0,65 pada indikator 1, 0,6 pada indikator 2, dan 0,7 pada indikator 3 dengan kriteria keterampilan mudah terkembang. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPA berbasis LC “4E”terbukti layak dan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar serta mampu membekali keterampilan inferensi logika siswa sehingga LKS IPA dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Observation result in MTs Hasyim As’ari 03 Kudus showed that already implemented in an integrated manner , but the learning support ( worksheet ) have not been integrated . This study aims to determine the feasibility of integrated science worksheet  theme of environmental pollution and its impact on learning outcomes and skills of logical inference . The method used wasResearch &Development ( R and D ). In this study , the products that have been validated by experts developed worksheet design and materials experts then testing a small -scale , large scale and implementation . Data analysis used is the result of a data product validation by experts , student questionnaire responses , students' observation skills , and student learning outcomes . Theresults of study showed that Integrated Science Worksheets Based on Learning Cycle " 4E " implied in the criteria feasible with an average percentage score of ≥ 81 % on the assessment of the feasibility of the design and material . In testing the effectiveness suggests that integrative science worksheets effective used in the learning acquisition N-gains of 0.67 and percentage of student’s the classical learning mastery was 100 % with ≥ 70 KKM . integrated science worksheet also able to equip students with the skills of inference logic acquisition N-gain of 0.65 on indicator 1 , 0.6 on indicator 2 , 3 and 0.7 on the indicator criteria easily undeveloped skills . It can be concluded that the integrated science worksheets based learning cycle “4E”  has been proven feasible and positive effect on learning outcomes and logic inference skills to equip students so that integrated science worksheet can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA kurikulum 2013 melatih siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri dan kreatif. Penilaian dalam kurikulum 2013 yaitu aspek kognitif, sikap dan keterampilan. Hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 6 Magelang bahwa belum adanya penggunaan panduan praktikum untuk setiap tema. Bahan ajar yang mendukung kegiatan praktikum dan meningkatkan aspek keterampilan adalah panduan praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan praktikum untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu pada tema fotosintesis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D). Proses penelitian dan pengembangan panduan praktikum dimulai dengan desain kemudian validasi pakar. Rerata hasil validasi oleh pakar mencapa iskor 3,65 untuk validasi materi dan tampilan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. Hasil penelitian keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa oleh observer mencapai kriteria tinggi. Jika menurut penilaian kurikulum 2013 mendapat predikat baik. Hasil belajar siswa, yaitu pretest memperoleh ketuntasan 0% dan hasil posttest memperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 77,27%. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas mendapat predikat B (3,01). Hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis dengan uji gain yaitu sebesar 0,42 termasuk dalam kriteria sedang. Sesuai hasil penelitian disimpulkan panduan praktikum IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema fotosintesis layak dan mampu menumbuhkan keterampilan kerja ilmiah siswa. Science learning in curriculum 2013 train the students to learned independently and creatively. Assessment in curriculum 2013 includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results of observation in SMP 6 Magelang that the lack of use of practical instructions for each theme. Instructional materials that support lab activities and improving the skills aspect is the practical instructions. This study aims to developed a practical guide to fosters scientific work skills of students feasible for used in integrated science teaching on the theme of photosynthesis. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). Research proscess and development of practical instructions begins with the design then validation of the experts. The mean results of the validation by the experts to achieve a score of 3.65 for materials validation and display validation. The reseacrh was conducted on a class VII student of SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. The results of research skills of students scientific work by the observer reaches a high criteria. According the assessment in curriculum 2013 got good predicate. Student learning outcomes, are pretest obtain completeness 0% and completeness of posttest results gained by 77.27%. The average value of posttest got predicate B (3.01). Learning outcomes were then analyzed by testing the gain is equal to 0.42 were included in the normal criteria. Based on the results of research concluded that integrated science practical instructions guided inquiry-based on theme photosynthesis feasible and able to fosters scientific work skills students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL pada tema Gerak yang dikembangkan dan keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penilitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL oleh pakar memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,6 dengan kriteria layak, tanggapan siswa mencapai 98,9% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan tanggapan guru 94,79% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Keefektifan modul dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa memperoleh rata-rata skor 0,6 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil belajar siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,34 dengan ketuntasan klasikal kelas 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL tema Gerak layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran kelas VIII di MTs Sudirman. The research aimed to know the feasibility and effectivity of developed integrated science module in theme “movement” with PBL in increasing students critical thinking ability. The design applied in the research was research and development. The subject of the research was class VIII. Result of the research showed that science module based on PBL assessed by validators got 3.6 in average with proper criterion, the students response achievement was 98.9% with excellent criterion, the teacher response acievement was 94.79% with excellent criterion. Module effectiveness in increasing students critical thinking ability got 0.6 with medium criterion. Students result got 80.34 with 100% classical completeness. Based on the research result, it could be conluded that integrated science module based on PBL in theme “Movement” was feasible and effective to be applied in science learning grade VIII in MTs Sudirman.
