Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas modul IPA terpadu model connected berpendekatan inquiry.  Metod penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari Sugiyono 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penilaian tahap I modul mendapatkan skor rata-rata 100%. Penilaian kelayakan modul tahap II komponen kebahasaan adalah 2,83 untuk skor pertama dan 4 untuk skor setelah revisi. Kelayakan Komponen isi mendapatkan skor rata-rata  3,38 dari pakar pertama dan 3,53 dari pakar kedua. Komponen penyajian mendapatkan skor 3,40 untuk pakar pertama dan 3,0 untuk pakar kedua. Uji N-gain yang didapat secara klasikal sebesar 0,612279 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 85%. Simpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah bahwa modul dikatakan layak untuk digunakan bedasarkan kriteria BSNP dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the integrated  science module connected model with inquiry strategy in chemical moleccule theme on plant nutrition. This is a Research and Development study by adopting the theory from Sugiyono 2010. The results showed that in the first stage of assessment modules to get an average score of 100%. In the phase II feasibility assessment modules to get an average score of 2.83 for the components of language in the first assessment and 4 on the second assessment after revision. Feasibility of Content components to get an average score of 3.38 for the first expert and an average score 3,53 for the second expert. The feasibility Presentation components get a score of 3.40 for the first expert and 3.0 for the second expert. The average score of N-Gain test is  0.612279, and  the classical completeness 85%. The conclusion that the module is said to be feasible to use and effective for the increase of the output learning.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis penting dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu, tetapi belum diperhatikan dengan detail karena alat evaluasi yang ada tidak dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di sekolah. Perlu dilakukan pengembangan alat evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki dan memudahkan menerapkan konsep yang telah dipelajarinya. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat evaluasi yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dengan memperoleh skor rata-rata 82 (87,23%). Alat evaluasi yang dikembangkan juga mampu mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed tema lingkungan yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil validasi ahli dan angket tanggapan guru yang mendapat skor maksimal 4. Alat evaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu model webbed tema lingkungan yang dikembangkan terbukti layak digunakan dan dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa.  Critical thinking skills is important in natural science learning, but have not paid attention because there is not an evaluation tool that can evaluate students' critical thinking skills in schools . It is necessary to develop an evaluation tool to determine the success rate of students in developing critical thinking skills and facilitate to apply concepts they have learned. The research method applied is the research and development (R & D). The results showed that the developed evaluation tools reached a very decent average score of 82 (87.23%). The evaluation tool also able to evaluate students' critical thinking skills in an natural science learning environment theme webbed models indicated by the results of the validation expert and teacher questionnaire responses received the maximum score of 4. It can be concluded that the evaluation tools students' critical thinking skills in an natural science learning environment theme webbed models proved to be feasible and can be used to evaluate students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui kelayakan  LKS  IPA  terpadu  berbasis  permainan  edukatif yang dikembangkan dan keefektifan penggunaan  LKS  dalam  pembelajaran pada siswa MTs N 1 Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu: studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, desain produk, validasi desain produk oleh ahli, revisi desain produk, ujicoba skala kecil, revisi produk,ujicoba skala besar, revisi produk, dan produk akhir. Ujicoba skala besar dilakukan dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan LKS IPA terpadu berbasis permainan edukatif, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan LKS IPA terpadu. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VIII A, VIII B, dan VIIIC MTs N 1 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan termasuk kriteria valid sesuai dengan hasil penilaian dari masing-masing ahli. Selain itu, LKS juga efektif diterapkan setelah dilakukan uji t yang menyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Presentase ketuntasan siswa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan daripada kelas kontrol. Persentase aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol,sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPA terpadu berbasis permainan edukatif  tema tekanan dalam sistem peredaran darah manusia layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada siswa SMP/MTs kelas VIII.  This examination purposed to know a student worksheet properness of integrated science basing the developed educational games and usage effectiveness of student worksheet in learning for students of MTs N I of Semarang. The used examination methods are Research and Development included several stages namely: begining study, planning, product design, product design validation by expert, product design revision, little scale experiment,product revision,large scale experiment, product revision, and end product. Large scale experiment was conducted by  pretest - posttest control group design. Experiment class used student worksheet of integrated science which based educational games, where as control class used student worksheet of  integrated science. The used examination subject were students of  VIII A, VIII B, and VIIIC class of MTs N I Semarang. The examination result  showed  that the developed student worksheet included a valid criteria which was compatible with examination result of each expert. Then student worksheet was effective to be applied after it was conducted a t-test explaining that the learning result rates for students of experiment class were better than control class. The finishing percentage for student of  experiment class experienced a significant improvement than control class. Activity percentage of experiment class students was better than control class, until be able to be concluded that student worksheet of integrated scince which based educational games with theme “Pressure in Human Blood Circulation System” was  proper and effective to be used in learning  for students at the eighth class of SMP/MTs.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP Islam Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang menunjukkan bahwa LKS sebagai salah satu bahan ajar yang digunakan belum menunjukkan adanya keterpaduan antara materi biologi dan kimia dan masih berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sehingga membuat siswa lebih tertarik untuk membaca dan mengerjakannya. Sehingga diperlukan LKS yang mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis education game pada tema rokok dan kesehatan untuk siswa SMP kelas VIII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil uji kelayakan dari pakar sebesar 88,06% termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, uji keefektifan meliputi tingkat ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,9% dan persentase keaktifan sebesar 85,16% dengan kriteria sangat aktif, hasil tanggapan siswa dan guru termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis education game yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA pada tema rokok dan kesehatan.  The observation result in Islamic Junior High School of Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang showed that student worksheet as one of the teaching materials used was had not shown the integration of biological and chemical materials and still potentially to be developed in order that the students were more interested in reading and doing it. So, there was needed student worksheet that able to create fun learning condition. This study aimed to develop of student worksheet based educational game on the theme of cigarette and health for junior high school student class VIII. This study was a Research and Development (R & D). The result of the feasibility test of expert was 88.06 % included in the very feasible category, the effectiveness test included classical completeness rate was 90.9 % and the percentage of activity was 85.16 % with the very active criteria, the result of students’ and teachers’ responses was included in the criteria very well. The result of these study indicated that the student worksheet based educational game which had been developed was stated feasible and effective to be used in science teaching on the theme of cigarette and health.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP N 1 Gabus, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu dan bertema, karena gurunya berlatar belakang pendidikan yang berbeda. Kendala lain belum terlaksananya pembelajaran IPA secara terpadu yaitu karena belum tersedia bahan ajar IPA yang terpadu meskipun sudah berlabel IPA Terpadu. Bahan ajar yang digunakan selama ini juga belum memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada siswa sehingga masih ditemukan hasil belajar beberapa siswa tidak mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 75. Perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar yang dapat memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Bahan ajar yang akan peneliti kembangkan yaitu berupa LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema sistem kehidupan dalam tumbuhan dapat dikatakan layak oleh pakar sesuai dengan indikator kelayakan yang ditetapkan BSNP. Pada uji coba skala kecil dan besar, LKS IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa dengan tingkat keterbacaan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.  The results of observation in SMP N 1 Gabus, found that learning activities have not been implemented in an integrated and themed, because teachers of different educational backgrounds. Another obstacle is not the implementation of an integrated learning science is not yet available as an integrated science teaching materials despite being labeled Integrated Sciences. Instructional materials used for this also has not provided a learning experience to the students so that they found the results of learning some students do not achieve the KKM is 75. Need to develop teaching materials that can give students the opportunity to expand its capabilities. Instructional materials that will be developed in the form of worksheets researchers Integrated Science -based guided inquiry. The design of this study using the method of research and development. The results showed that the integrated science worksheets guided inquiry -based theme system in the plant life can be said to be feasible by experts according to a set of performance indicators BSNP. In small -scale trials and large, integrated science worksheets based guided inquiry got very good response by teachers and students with excellent readability level . The results of this study also showed that the use of worksheets guided inquiry -based Integrated Sciences positive effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Di SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus dalam pembelajaran IPA sudah memanfaatkan ICT (Information and Communication Technology) seperti power point dan video. Namun guru belum dapat memaksimalkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Menurut hasil observasi di sekolah salah satu kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA terpadu yaitu masih minimnya media pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Oleh karena itu media pembelajaran IPA terpadu perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan media DGBL pada pembelajaran pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. Efektivitas diukur dengan indikator siswa yang mencapai nilai ≥70 mencapai 85% dari total siswa, siswa yang memiliki minat baik mencapai 85% dari total siswa, dan siswa yang memiliki aktivitas sangat tinggi mencapai 85% dari total siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu validator menilai media DGBL sangat baik dan layak. Pakar media dan guru (media) rata-rata skor 2,79 dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan dari pakar materi dan guru (materi) rata-rata skor 2,87 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Selanjutnya pada uji coba skala kecil, siswa memberikan penilaian dengan persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada uji coba pemakaian diketahui bahwa persentase ketuntasan klasikal kelas VII-G sebesar 82,35% dan kelas VII-H sebesar 94,44%. Siswa dengan minat baik sebesar 92,86% dan siswa dengan aktivitas tinggi sebesar 90%. Selain itu tanggapan guru terhadap penggunaan media DGBL dalam proses pembelajaran menunjukan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media DGBL layak dan efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. The science learning in SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus has already used ICT (Information and Communication Technology) like power point and videos. However, teachers have not been able to maximize the existing infrastructure. According to the school observation’s result, one of the obstacles in implementing an integrated science teaching is the lack of availability of integrated science learning media. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). This research examines the process of development and the effectiveness of learning media DGBL on environmental pollution in junior high school. The effectiveness is measured by the availability of 85% of students who got score more than 70, the students who have a good interest reached 85%, and the students who have a good activity reached 85% too. The result of this study indicates that the media DGBL is very good and deserved to be used. Media experts and teachers (the media) have the average score of 2,79 with very well’s criteria, while material experts and teachers (the material) have the average score of 2,87 with very well’s criteria too. Furthermore, in the small-scale trials, the students gave the assessment’s percentage 97% with very well’s criteria. The trial of used known that the classical percentage for VII-G was 82,35% and VII-H was 94,44%. Students with an interest either 92,86% and students with high activity by 90%. In addition, the teacher's response to the use of media in the learning process DGBL showed a very good response. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the media DGBL is feasible and effective for integrated science learning about environmental pollution in junior high school.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP N 1 Subah Batang diketahui bahwa siswa hanya bergantung pada bahan ajar berupa LKS yang materinya sangat dangkal. Siswa kurang tertarik untuk mempelajarinya karena tidak adanya gambar/ ilustrasi tentang materi yang dipelajari. Kendala lain yang dialami, sebagian besar siswa bersifat pasif dalam pembelajaran, mereka hanya melakukan apa yang diperintah oleh guru. Pengembangan e-Book ini dalam rangka menyongsong kurikulum 2013 serta perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) yang sangat pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-Book IPA Terpadu yang sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian BSNP serta mengetahui keefektifannya. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Subah Batang dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian 10 siswa kelas VII E untuk uji coba skala kecil serta seluruh siswa kelas VII E untuk uji coba skala besar. Rekapitulasi hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif presentase. Hasil uji kelayakan e-Book IPA Terpadu oleh pakar materi 95,37% (sangat layak), pakar bahasa 100% (sangat layak), dan pakar media 95% (sangat layak). Skor klasikal kemandirian belajar siswa 82,13% (mandiri). Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan ditunjukkan dengan kriteria gain klasikal tinggi dan uji t signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan e-Book IPA Terpadu Tema Suhu dan Pengukuran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak oleh pakar dengan memenuhi kriteria dari BSNP dan dapat menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Based on the research in SMP N 1 Subah Batang, it is known that students only depends on teaching materials in the form of worksheets (LKS) in which the material is very superficial. Students are less interested to learn, because the lack of pictures/illustrations about the material being studied. Another obstacles are experienced, most of the students are passive in learning, they just did what was ordered by the teacher.This e-Book development in order to meet curriculum in 2013 and development of Science and Technology which is very fast. The purpose of the research is to develop an e-Book of Integrated Sciences that appropriate with criteria assessment of BSNP and determine its effectiveness. This research and development are carried out in SMP N 1 Subah Batang using study subjects in 10 students of class VII E for small-scale trials, and all students of class VII E for large-scale trials. Recapitulation of the research results were analyzed by descriptive’s percentage. The test results of the proper e-Book Integrated Science by material experts 95.37%, linguists 100%, and media experts 95%. Classical scores of student learning independence 82.13% (independent). Student learning results are significantly increased that showed by criteria of the classical high gain and significant t test. Based on the results of this study can be concluded the e-Book Integrated Science with theme of Temperature and Measuring that developed, declared proper by experts and fulfilling the criteria of BSNP and can foster learning independent and improve the student learning results.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP N 2 Subah Batang terkendala dengan belum tersedianya buku IPA terpadu. Buku – buku yang selama ini dijumpai untuk dipakai dalam pembelajaran IPA belum IPA terpadu. Buku tersebut masih tersusun berdasarkan bab-bab yang tersendiri antara fisika, biologi dan kimia tanpa adanya keterpaduan di antara disiplin ilmu. Melalui modul IPA terpadu guru akan lebih mudah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan siswa akan lebih terbantu serta mudah dalam belajar secara mandiri. Metode Penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian dari validasi pakar pada kelayakan isi sebesar 79,2% dengan kriteria layak, kelayakan kebahasaan sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan kelayakan penyajian  sebesar 85,9% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Tanggapan guru terhadap modul sebesar 92,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan tanggapan siswa terhadap modul sebesar 97,3% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul IPA terpadu model webbed pada tema hama dan pestisida melalui tahapan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi, ujicoba skala besar, revisi  dan produksi akhir. Modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa. Integrated science learning in SMP N 2 Subah Batang is constrained by lack of a unified science books. Books that have been found to be used in science teaching is not integrated science. The book is still arranged by chapters that separate between physics, biology and chemistry without any integration among the disciplines. This research was aimed to develop an integrated webbed science module on the theme of pests and pesticides. Through an integrated science module, teachers will be easier to implement learning and students will be helped and easy to learn independently. The research method applied was the research and development (Research and Development). The results of the experts' validation study on the feasibility of the content was 79.16% categorized in a decent criteria, linguistic eligibility criteria was 95% in a very decent criteria and proper presentation was 85.93% in a very decent criteria. Teacher's response to the module was 92.50% in a very decent criteria and student responses to the module was 96.53% also in a very decent criteria. It can be concluded that the development of webbed integrative science module on the theme of pests and pesticides was started from the identification of potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, small-scale trials, revisions, large-scale trials, revision and final production. Modules developed fit for use as a source of student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development).Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII. Hasil penilaian pakar media dan materi terhadap alat peraga yang dikembangkan yaitu 97,78% dan 94,05%, tanggapan siswa mencapai 87,27%%, dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 84,38% yaitu 27 dari 32 siswa mencapai nilai KKM (75). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwaalat peraga pemanasan global berbahan bekas pakai yang dikembangkanlayak dan efektif digunakan. Hasil observasi menyatakan bahwa tingkat karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa berada pada tingkat mulai terlihat dengan persentase 57,47%. This research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the development global warming teaching aid, and to determine the level of environmental awareness character of students through the implementation of global warming teaching aid.. The research design applied in this research is a Research and Development (R&D).. The media and science material expert judgment result of science teachingaid was developed  reached997.78% and 94.05%, student responses reached 87.27% Based on the result analysis of learning, the classical completeness results was 27 students from 32 student. It conclude that the global warming teaching aid is very suitable to be used in science learning. The level of environmental awareness character assessed based on observation. Based on observation, students gain  character rate of 57.47%.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen self-assessment yang layak serta efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. Instrumen self-assessment terdiri atas kisi-kisi, angket dan petunjuk penyekoran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berupa data validitas konstruk instrumen self-assessment dan hasil belajar belajar peserta didik yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil rerata persentase validitas konstruksi instrumen self-assessment yaitu 92,67%, serta nilai koefisien reliabilitas instrumen self-assessment sebesar 0,765. Pada tahap implementasi instrumen self-assessment, diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 94% dan nilai koefisien korelasi product moment (r) sebesar 0,896 untuk aspek afektif dan 0,882 untuk aspek kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen self-assessment efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. The study aimed to develop  a viable and effective self-assessment instrument of integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life. Self-assessment instrument were consist of value indicators, self-assessment quesioners and rubrics. The method of this study was Research and Develompment (R&D). The research data were consisted of the construct validity and holistic learning achievements of student. All data were analyzed using descriptive technique percentage. The result showed that the product was very viable and could be used as an self-assessment instrument of science, an average score of viability was 92,76% and the reliability coefficient was 0,765. At implementation phase, the mastery learning was 94% and the number of corrrelations were 0,896 (afective aspect) and 0,882 (kognitive aspect). From these data concluded that self-assessment instrument effective applied to integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life.
